This is a project that you want to be part of. Now, in a nutshell, Mind Valley University started out with a very weird experiment. In 2016, I moved to Singapore for two weeks with my family and we, we rented a really nice hotel and we decided two weeks was a good immersion. Like, typically when we move to a city, we go there for a couple of days. But we wanted to really get to know a city, to meet people, to meet locals, to understand the city. So we moved to Singapore for two weeks and it was such a beautiful experience, but there was this weird loneliness. We were by ourselves. My kids wanted to meet other kids. There was no one I wanted to meet other inspiring entrepreneurs, no one. So I told my family, well, what if we tried something really radical? What if next year we move to a crazy beautiful city? We pick Barcelona and what if we stay for one month, but this time we invite other people to come and join us. So back then I was very active on Facebook. Right now I'm more on Instagram. But I got on Facebook and I put up a post and I said, listen, I'm moving to Barcelona for one month, July 2017, with my children. These are the dates. Does any, are there any other families or individuals that want to join? And I, and I expressed this idea. I said, you know, so many of us take holidays, we take vacations, but I'm a community guy. I want to meet interesting people. So what if we all took this, this, this experience together? And a thousand people commented and said, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. I'll do that. I'll move to Barcelona with you. So this was a public post. I invited everyone world and a thousand people left. Comments and I thought, liars, no way you're going to move to Barcelona for one month. But what happened was really crazy. 300 people moved to Barcelona with me and, and it became a disaster. So we had 300 people moving to Barcelona and now we had to create community events and parties and many of these people and we had around maybe 40 kids. So we hired a teacher to create a school for the kids. And then we had a lot of like, interesting people show up. We had incredible Mind Valley authors who participated. We had celebrities like Tony Gonzalez, the. He's one of the top footballers in America, in the NFL hall of Fame. He came with his family and he said it was the best holiday, he said in an interview, the best holiday he's ever done. So all of these amazing people came and, and we Took turns teaching the kids, we took turns doing presentations for each other. We rented a co working space so people had desk and chairs when they needed to get to work. And the idea was this, right, we're going to explore the city, we're going to create all of these events to discover the cultural immersion of Barcelona. But we're going to do it together. We want our kids to meet each other. We want as entrepreneurs, as creators, as coaches, to connect with each other. And that's what happened. And I wish I could say it was a success. It was a success for the participants, for me and my team. It was a frickin nightmare because we were not prepared for the sheer number of people who came. I want to show you something. There's actually a documentary about the this whole experience that you can watch on YouTube. It's called the Barcelona Experiment. Let me quickly share that with you. This is the Barcelona Experiment and you can see the documentary. My education never helped me figure out what I really want to do. I never experienced that there would even be space for a conversation label. What are the aspects of the traditional education system that we should stop trying to see?
An experiment that we tried for the very first time in Barcelona this year, like learning for a month.
So you get the idea. It was really, really wonderful. It's a good idea.
It can replace the traditional education now.
It was messy. It was messy because we were not prepared. And what happened is that part of the way through the schoolteacher retired. Like, she's like, I can't take this anymore. It's too much pressure. I can't do this. And the schoolteacher we hired just quit. And we were desperate. What are we going to do? Fortunately, Lisa Nichols was sailing on a yacht near Barcelona at that time. So I call up Lisa Nichols, you know, the Lisa Nichols, and she says, you know, vishen, I'm going to come and teach the kids. So Lisa Nichols comes and becomes the school teacher for these 40 kids. All of these different Mindvalley legends came together to support this project. The stress was great, but the very next year we decided to get hyper organized and we brought in this amazing person called Kadi Oya to run it. And that's when Mindvalley University went from an unstructured community experiment to a whole experience. So what I want to do now is I want to actually show you some pictures of what to expect so you can see how this project works. So let's start with this one. So what you're seeing right now is the upgrade. These are actual pictures of our community. And what happens at Mindvalley University. This, for example, is one of the costume parties. Every weekend there's a massive party and it is one of the best parties you will ever experience in your life. And everyone, adults and kids, come together in costumes. You will experience not just talks, but performances, music. The event is 21 days, but people come for maybe three days to three weeks, right? Some people come for a week, some people come for three weeks. The reason it's three weeks is because many people enroll their teens, their kids in the program. And to really transform a kid, you need about three weeks. So if you're enrolling your kid, you probably want to come for at least two weeks. But people come for however many days they want. And every day there's something exciting happening. World class speakers come down. That's Paul McKenna. He is the most published nonfiction author in, in the uk. That's my parents. My parents love the event. My parents are 75 years old. The oldest participants are in their 80s. The youngest participants are 6 years old. This, for example, is a community workshop. This is two health experts you recognize, Ronan Diego. He's a Mindvalley speaker teaching the kids health advice. Incredible personalities come. This is an American diving icon who won five gold medals at the Olympic. Coming and talking about his life and his experiences. So lots of incredible individuals come. This is a photo of our teens. I think this is graduation day. The teens bond really well. My, my son Hayden, he's in that photo. He says this is the best three weeks of his life. That's what the auditorium look like. We have a huge, we rent the biggest conference center in Estonia and there are three stages at any given time. So at any given time you have like three different talks. This is another one of the parties. These are the best dressed men. At one of our closing parties, you also get a lot of interesting personalities. You might recognize the actress Sheila Kelly there, that's her with her husband, Richard Schiff. Richard Schiff is the Emmy winning doctor. You'll recognize him from the good doctor from West Wing. So a lot of celebrities come and they are just part of it. They just love the experience. Many of these celebrities are my friends and we have this rule where, you know, we don't, we don't hound celebrities. We, we respect their privacy. We don't take photos of them unless we get permission, as in this photo. But the people you meet are amazing. I'm going to show you some of these people. And in addition to great talks, we have incredible performances. Opera, violin. This is Another one of the parties. This is Urban Valencia. He's the athletic director for the New York Knicks. He's hosting some of our speakers on stage. Amazing personalities come. Naveen Jain, the first private citizen to get the rights to land on the moon, the founder of multiple billion dollar companies. He came last year to speak and he just confirmed yesterday that he's coming again this year to speak. So brilliant personalities come because they want to share their new ideas. So Naveen has three children. His son at 34 just became a billionaire on the Forbes 400 list. And his two other kids are also likely to start companies. They're only in their 20s worth hundreds of millions of dollars. So he's, he just messaged me last night and he's like, I'm developing this process on how to raise kids to be great entrepreneurs and I want to come to Mindvalley University and teach it to your audience because I really want to get this knowledge out. So you are learning from these type of people. There's also a lot of Estonian culture. We have a incredible forest party to celebrate Midsummers, which is a big holiday in northern Europe. That's the party. You know, there's a huge bonfire that we create. Everyone dresses in beautiful mid summer gear. Many incredible speakers that maybe you haven't even heard of. Like this Guy just won five awards at CES and he was in Time magazine in 2022 when they listed top inventions of the year. He had two inventions in Time magazine. Now he comes and he just wants to teach creativity to the kids and the adults. This is man and Dave. I'm a speaker as well. And we, we bring in tons of events, activities just to get people really connected. So those are some photos and what I want to do right now is I want to take you through a presentation so you can get an idea of what Mindvalley University is about. Now first, before I play this video. So let me just warn you that this video makes it look like it's one giant party. That is because video editors grab the most visual elements and they tend to be our party. But actually Mindvalley University, the bulk of it is really inspiring workshops and talks that are happening throughout the day. So you come and you know, most people spend four hours a day working and four hours a day attending workshops and talks. Tallinn is a very beautiful college like town, very walkable, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Everyone who comes falls in love with it. It's a preserved medieval city. So it's like Disneyland, but real. And the, the, the reason People come for one week is because they are not leaving their jobs for one week. They are working but they're also experiencing it. So this video gives you an idea of what you can experience. I'm just going to share it again to make sure I have sound on. Okay. And as I'm doing this, if you want to ask any questions go ahead and just post it in the chat. Here we go. Imagine if going to university was not four years but was one month every year. This is Mindvalley's vision of university and it's nothing like you would expect. Sam.
What makes this tribe super unique is that these people are very, very, very heart centered but they're playing a really big game when it comes to their lives. It's such an incredible tribe.
You know, with all the negativity in the world and the politics of the world, you know, we feel like we're alone. I think there's a lot of us that if we unite we realize that we are the changers, we're unstoppable and we can make the world a better place. So I hope you enjoyed that video. It gives you a taste of the, the, the emotion. One thing I really like about there is you'll notice the kids program and the teachers teaching the kids Marissa Pierre Ericet means like where else can you get Marissa Pierre? Come in personally. Teach your children right. So Mindvalley University really gives kids exposure to incredible and because of this we. This just happened yesterday. Kadi, I'd like to invite you on screen. Kadi is the creator, the co visionary of Mindvalley University and yesterday we just found out that we won all of these awards. Gold award in event in educational event category, Gold award in community engagement and a bronze award in people's choice. So we won two goals and one bronze award at Eventex which awards the best conferences in the world. Kadi, I'd love for you to share a little bit about what makes Mindvalley University special for you. So Khadi runs the entire program. I just speak. She runs everything from the parties to the people to the speakers. Everything. Khadi.
Hi everyone and thank you Vishen. And I want to add that it's a teamwork. I definitely do it with an amazing team and also when it comes to this award then I want to mention that Mindville University is so much about co creation. So I feel like the community is so much playing a big role in us also getting these kind of awards because for example all of the community members who attend the event have the opportunity to be on the stage and to become the speaker. Once you have decided to attend, then we will share an application with you where you can, you can apply to or to speak on the stage. And this all makes the event what it is about. It's about co creation, it's about community. It's about people coming together to really go deep into personal growth. And I think this is also how we receive these kind of awards that and makes it so special. And I really, really hope that if you haven't experienced it yet, you will join us this July in, in Tallinn because it really is one of a kind and very, very special community focused event.
Thank you Cardi, and congratulations on all of the awards. I'll return to the presentation. So where's the event now? I'm going to give you information on. This is going to be information again. I'm speaking to two audiences here. The numbers on the zoom just. Well, the 600 and maybe another 2,000 people will watch the record. So I'm going to speak to two people here. Those of you who are already coming and those of you who are considering coming now, both of you are going to get valuable information. If you're already coming, you'll have a better idea of what to expect and how to have a great experience. If you're on the fence, you will can now decide if you want to participate. We'll go through everything here. So firstly, we have rented one of the most beautiful conference centers in all of Europe. It's actually an old factory that has been turned into one of the most gorgeous conference spaces. It's. It's a. It's a hard to pronounce word called Kulturi Katel. But it is in Tallinn, Estonia and we have four tracks in the agenda. Right. So adults, most of the people who come 80% are adults. And the adult track spans three stages. But many people come with their kids. So if you come with your kids, you can enroll them in the teens program. And we're working with a great school called Learn Life. And Gigi, who runs a program is going to give you an idea of how it works. But it's so cool. The guys behind Learn Life, they studied all the different education programs in the world world and they put the best together. So they're going to be creating programs for teens and for kids. So if you come at your family, your kids are constantly occupied, right? And if you have a toddler, 3 to 5 years old, really young child, we actually work with Waldorf Kindergarten. So this is. There's someone Taking care of your toddler. I designed it this way because I'm a parent, I have kids. And I remember one day speaking to Naveen Jain, the guy I told you whose son just became a billionaire. And I asked him, your son Ankor. This was before Ankor like was all over the news for his company built. I told him, your son Ankor is so brilliant and smart. What did you do to get him this way? And Naveen said, listen, every time I go to business conferences from the time Ankor was six, I would take him with me. So Anko would be in a room with all of these amazing people and he would be exposed to possibilities that he couldn't get exposed to in just regular school. He might meet a guy who has built a hundred million dollar company. He might meet a famous actor and all of a sudden his mind is expanded. Now this was 10 years ago. This, this month uncle made the Forbes list, one of the youngest billionaires in America. Now I asked Naveen that 10 years ago and that helped me decide that I want to take my kids to conferences. I want to take my kids with me. But when I checked there was nothing, there was no conference I could take my son to. And so I decided to create one. And that's Mindvalley University. And that's why if you enroll with your kids and please know the kids program sells out every year. If this excites you, you gotta enroll fast. Right? Because it sells out every year. This is the only conference where your kids get to learn. So Marissa up here will speak to the adults. Then she will go and she will talk to the kids. And your kids learn from these amazing teachers. And at the same time at every party, every social event, even if it goes all the way to 3am Your kids are with you. And your kids, you know, they have their own little like group of friends but they get to experience life. Our parties are not about alcohol. They're not about drinking. Most people don't touch alcohol. I'd say half the people in Mindvalley University are non drinkers. But it's about celebration and community. It's a very different vibe. It's about music, dancing of course, but really about deep connection. Okay, so let's talk about the adult tracks. Over three weeks there are over 150, 50 sessions that you can take part of. Over 150 sessions. And many of these are by world class teachers. They come. So how do we get world class teachers? You'll notice for the ticket price. The ticket price is actually very very very Low a ticket price for one week is what you would is less than what you would spend on many like two, three day conferences. Right. But how we get these amazing speakers is behind Mind Valley University. We do a speaker's mastermind. So I get all of these amazing talent to come. They drop their speaking fee, but they come because I introduce them to other speakers. It's behind the scenes. So it's a little trick we do that allows us to make this so much more affordable to you and drop the ticket price. Okay. That's why we have Naveen Jane coming. We have all of these amazing people. I'm going to show you in a moment. So there'll be 50 plus talks over 21 days on the main stage. This holds 800 people. Then there's a community stage. And here we give you a chance to speak. So there's a form and an app. You can apply to be a teacher. I'd say your odds of being accepted, we typically get five times more applications than spots. So we'll get 400 applications for 80 spots. 20% chance you'll get accepted and we put you on stage. And you know what's really funny? Many of the community speakers went on to become Mindvalley legends. The biggest teacher on mindvalley right now is Reagan Hillier. She's that woman in white over here. Her program, Art of Manifesting is the best selling program on mindvalley right now. Reagan started by being a community speaker on the mindvalley stage. She came, she put up a. She, she decided to do a cacao ceremony. 250 people showed up for a cacao ceremony. And she was so, and the, the feedback was so good. The next year we gave her another talk. Okay, so she, at this point, she had met her husband Juanpa. They both met at a mindvalley conference and fell in love. So she and her husband did another talk. That's what you're seeing over here. People loved it. We signed her as an author and today she's the number one author in mindvalley earning millions a year. Millions just from her Mindvalley royalties. Millions. How cool is that? So we also do Mindvalley University to discover new talent. Every year at least one community speaker becomes a mindvalley speaker. Okay. Again, we can't promise that. Now when you go to the website, you'll kind of get an idea of the schedule. This is the rough schedule. So morning sessions start at 10 and then there's a lunch break from 12 to 2. Then there's afternoon sessions from 2 to 5. And evenings we typically have socials, right. So people, you know, people ask me, well, I can't take one week off work. I'm like, don't, I'm not taking one week off work. I might attend a morning session and then use the, and then skip the afternoon sessions and catch up on my work or catch up on my work during lunch break. You know, you can bring your laptop. There are places in the hub you can work. But talent is so small. For me to walk from my house to the hub, it's 12 minutes. So I just walk home, I work and then I come back. Thailand is a really small city. It's a very walkable city and it has incredible transport. So it's, it's really easy to get around. So that's how people manage. So these are some of our speakers for week one. Alan Green is one of the most, one of the most amazing talks. He's a mathematician explorer and he gave one of the most amazing talks I've ever heard on the hidden patents and the Declaration of Independence. So I invited him to come. Sonia Choquette, world's foremost intuition expert. Paul McKenna, world's foremost hypnotherapist. Sheila Kelly is going to be teaching pole dancing. So there's, it's 60 women at Mindvalley University. There are lots of classes just for women. They have their classes for men as well. We'll cover that as well. But one of the things you know, Mindvalley University is a very open environment. It's, you've got to be very open minded and women get a chance here to do a learn pole dancing. From Sheila Kelly, the Monroe Institute. They are famous for astral projection and using sound technology for out of 40 experiences they'll giving you an experience. You might recognize Niraj Naik, he's the number one breathwork instructor in the world. So we have lots of embodiment practices like breath work. Week two, you might learn from Shefali Sabari. She is, she wrote the book on Awakened Woman. She's been on Oprah seven times. You will learn from Charlie Morley, the lucid dreaming expert Jimmy Narain. He was voted a second best speaker last year and he teaches you how to monetize your knowledge to create courses online. Many amazing folks. Week three. And again, these are just a handful of speakers. There's actually four or five times more. These are just who we could fit in this slide. Week three you learned from Nikki Agrawal. She's famous for being an ethnic woman in America who started three companies worth over 100 million. She's going to be teaching branding and entrepreneurship. Jade Shaw will be teaching astral projection. Jade Shaw was a number one voted speaker at a fest. Adam Roa, amazing poet is going to dazzle you with his open his spoken word poetry. Reagan Hillier, the number one author on mindvalley will be teaching and you learn from many, many, many other people. Bibi Brazoshka will be doing women's workshops on conscious sexuality and self pleasure. There's tons of different things happening all the time and one of the things that we do is AI is really important right now. So we have a bonus summit that happens during Mindvalley University. It happens on the weekend of the second week and it's called AI Summit. And you learn here how to use the latest technologies in AI, whether it's Claude or GPT5 which is coming out, or video generation AI to enhance your work. So this is just a bonus. It happens. It's an extra 12 hours completely free. You can attend this one and amazing speakers on AI. Last year AI Summit was a huge hit. Okay, now how can you contribute to the agenda? Mindvalley University allows you to participate as well. So firstly, there are 80 plus tribe tribe sessions that you can hold at Kulturi Cartel, which is the conference. So you can scan this and you can apply to be a speaker. Now let's say you cannot get a spot because we have 80 spots in the main conference hall. Let's say you cannot get a spot in the main conference hall. It doesn't matter. You can actually use the app and create your own events. We have select cafes, select yoga studios where you can create your own events. Remember I told you the story of Reagan Hillier? She did a cacao ceremony, she didn't get a spot at the Hub, she rented a yoga studio and she did a cacao ceremony. Now it's a gifting economy, so she's not allowed to charge. So people only brought $2 to cover the cost of the cacao, right? You can only charge for materials. You're not allowed to make profit from this. So she rented her own space and today she's the number one, number one speaker on mindvalley. How insanely crazy is that? So even if you don't get one of the 80 plus reserve sessions in the tribe, you can decide, hey, I want to, I'm going to teach yoga at this particular yoga studio or I'm going to teach, I'm going to take people through this new breathwork modality that I'm, I'm I've discovered and I've rented this particular place so there's opportunities for you to co create. Now let's talk about the youth programs and I'd like to invite Gigi Marquez to describe that. So Gigi is the woman behind our youth programs. So for those of you coming for parents, the next five minutes are super sorry. For those of you parents coming with kids, the next five minutes are super important. Gigi, take it away.
Thank you so much, Vishen. So hi everybody. It is my absolute pleasure to greet you today. My name is Gigi Marquez and I'm head of youth programs for Mindvalley which means that I am your go to person for all things related to the youngest learners at Mindvalley University. Our programs go from 3 years old to 17 years old. And today I'm here to share a little bit, a little sneak peek about what we have planned for this year. So I know that many of you have been waiting for this moment to get to know our partners. I'm excited to announce that we have partnered this year with Waldorf Kindergarten for our toddlers program. Toddlers program welcomes kids from 3 years old to 5 years old. And alongside Waldorf Kindergarten we have crafted an experience that's all about sparking creativity, letting imaginations run wild, diving into interactive learning. And it's going to be all about connecting with nature and working together as teams. Imagine this for a three to five year old child. And even though they're our youngest learners are very, very youngest kids in the whole the whole Mindvalley University. Their program is not just about fun. It's also about helping them grow into communication, social skills and above everything else, nurturing a real passion for learning in them for kids and teens program. Next slide please. Can I have the next light?
Yes.
Guys, can I please have the next slide?
Sorry.
No problem. For our kids and teens program we have partnered with Learn Life which is an amazing school from Spain. And with we have integrated experiential learning and STEM simulations along with activities around conscious entrepreneurship, sustainable practices, circular economies. We've also obviously made space for creative exploration through music, drama, dance and of course mindfulness practices and meditation. So our kids from 6 years old to 12 years old and our teens from 13 to 17 are going to be exposed to all these amazing tools. Next slide please. Here you can see some of the photos from previous years. You can see our kids, our teens, our toddlers having a really good time with the authors that come to the to their programs to teach them. As Vishen said before, we have many.
Of them.
Coming into the room to share their knowledge. Next slide.
Yes.
Thank you so much. And as many of you know, we have opened a call for community speakers. So if you have an education background and you have an amazing project that you would like to share with us, we would love for you to join us and co create youth programs together with our team. So please scan the QR code, submit your application. The deadline is approaching soon, so we'd love to see all those coming in next slide. And I would, I mean, I could, I could sit here and tell you all the amazing things, but I think it's a lot more impactful if we let our parents and our learners speak for themselves and tell you about how this experience has been for them. So let's hear it from one of our moms.
And I just came to Estonia and I booked one week and they came to me from first day, which was three days ago. Mama, we want to stay the whole three days, weeks. And I looked at them really happy and I see a huge difference three days in. And from a parent who is very involved with her children and sometimes being a boot camp mom, I'm so happy, I don't even know where they are because I'm so safe and trusting so much in this program because I see the smiles in their faces and that's the most important. We learn a lot from our kids. I do believe that. And yeah, just this is something that worth investing in.
So one of the important things is one of the reasons I wanted to create this is because I looked at what my son was learning in regular school in Europe and it was pretty much stuff to prepare him for the sats and various other exams. He wasn't learning entrepreneurship, he wasn't learning, you know, the concept of compound interest and investing in stocks. He wasn't learning marketing and sales. And why not? Why aren't kids learning these tools which are actually going to give them an advantage as an adult? And so that's what we do at Mindvalley University. Your kids learn the stuff that schools are afraid to teach or not able to teach because you know, a freaking SAT exam doesn't test for this. And so you're like, I remember last year I was so proud. I was looking at the kids program and I was just observing my daughter and there was this class where they had to create shoes out of paper and then they had to pitch their shoe design to a designer to sell their shoe design. And they were learning how to sell. They were learning sales and marketing and how to pitch for themselves. That's a very useful skill whether you're pitching to an investor, you know, or you're pitching on Shark Tank. And these are the type of things that I feel are making my kids better and better. So my son and my daughter tell me that Mindvalley University are their three favorite weeks of the entire year. And this program, we don't do it for money. In fact, we don't typically make that much money from it. It's, it's just, it's really like driven out of passion, love and community. But I continue doing this because, I mean, I can't disappoint my children. So let's watch this video on our youth program.
Yes, let's hear from our learners.
Now.
You feel like you are an adult and you're like in a conference, but you're actually a kid.
Like the people who are gonna save the world are our generation. You know, like this is school. This is how school should be taught. I've learned more now than I have in a lot, like a lot of months in school combined.
I'm grateful for meditation. Whenever I get mad, I just go in a corner and take five breaths. Then I meditate for five minutes. Then I go out and solve my problem.
Isn't that cool? That's really sweet.
That is.
Yeah. So you can, you can see dozens of stories in Mindvalley University on our stories engine. Now let's talk about some of the fun parts. So yes, lots of great learning, but community is a very important part. So one of the ways we create community. This is a really interesting phenomenon. People bond when they have shared moments of awe. When you're in something like when you go to Burning man and you see that, that huge statue burned down and you are with your friends and it's awe inspiring. Or you go visit the Grand Canyon with a group of buddies and you see this awe inspiring vista. There's a bonding that happens. It's a shared experience. So our parties and socials are designed to do that. So we do a party for everyone on Saturday. If you're a VIP ticket holder, we do a smaller party for you on Thursday. That's like a VIP party. It's a little bit more exclusive. It costs extra. That's why you gotta get a VIP ticket. But there are two massive parties every week. And then we have a social, a socialist. We say we're all going to be meeting up at this particular bar at 9pm Come by. Right. And again, I want to stress, a party is not about alcohol. Most People drink sparkling water or non alcoholic drinks. I'm. I haven't touched alcohol in maybe three months. So it's about. But, but people are high on the community. They are high on life itself and on the music. Okay, so there are three main parties each Saturday. Let me give you an idea of what the parties look like. These are actual footage of, of the vistas and the experience that we create. We love theme parties, so we love to get people dressed up. Why? When you dress up in a costume, you're giving yourself permission to be to Often we find that it takes away the shyness. It opens up when you're wearing a costume. It allows you to go up to someone and go, hey, I really like your hat. It gives people an opportunity to start a conversation and so community and bonding happens better. So costume parties are really cool and everyone dresses up. When you will get notice of the costumes, the themes, you will know what to pack. And if you don't pack the right stuff, there are tons of costume rental stores in Tallinn as well. And so the costume parties are incredible. Now if you get a VIP ticket, which is a couple of hundred dollars more, there's an additional VIP party. The VIP party is really cool because all the authors are there. So you'll see mindvalley authors, you'll see celebrities and you get a chance to just, just interact, you know, be cool about it. But you get a chance to be around these amazing people. Marisa Pierre will be there, I will be there, Eric Etmeads will be there. And it's, they're really, really, really fun. So this is a slight couple of hundred dollars extra. This is a smaller party, but we know that many people want to get closer to the authors. It's hard when you have a thousand people at a party, but it's easier when there's like two to 300 people. And then socials. So socials are these fun little bar nights that we do. We have a welcome Social on July 1st and the Socials are really fun. The kids participate as well. And we bring in performers and entertainers to get people dancing together, to get people doing games together. So they're really fun. So weekly socials happen every Friday and the socials are a great way to connect and meet people. And what happens is the community comes together. Like someone plays a saxophone, will start playing, somebody else will bring out a drum and they create their own experiences. Like look at the, the, the people over here. So many amazing people. That is this guy over here is Barton Scott. He, you know, he runs Upgrade, upgraded formulas, Great supplement company. That's Neil Strauss. Neil Strauss. His book was number one in the New York Times just a few months ago. He wrote the book with Rick Rubin on the creative act. He has 10. He's a 10 time New York Times bestselling author. He's there with his kid. So imagine, right, you're just walking around, you dream about writing a book, and there you have D. Neil Strauss, one of the greatest American writers of our generation, right there with his kid. These are the type of people who come. It's an amazing experience. Okay, now there's an app. And the app will help you with the agenda. This is a slight demonstration of the app. It's not super beautiful, forgive us for that, but it's functional. That's what really matters. So the app will show you how to. Oh, it's not loading. What's going on here? Well, you get the idea. The app will, will allow you to submit feedback on talks. You can book the talks that you want. You can plan your day. You can even create your own meetups. So you can say, hey, I want to go on a trip to hike in this forest at Saturday at 2pm who is in? We're going to be meeting at this cafe at 1:30pm and you can make that happen. So you see, you see that thing there with tribe events? There are all of these tribe events happening. So we organize 150 workshops and talks. The tribe will organize another 150. So that's 300 events. You cannot possibly get bored. Okay. And you can see, you know, you have access to all of the other members as well. Let's go on to the next slide. Okay, Practical info. Now before I get to practical info, I actually want to talk about community and the type of people who come. So there is this mistaken idea in personal growth that people who come to personal growth events are people who are broken, they're going through a depression or they're in bad health and they want to fix themselves. That's not actually true. The people who come to personal growth events are actually the most successful, educated and well put together people on the planet. If we actually look at Facebook data of our mindvalley audience, Facebook divides the American, the Americans into 20 different groups for, for advertisers, right? Our community, meaning you guys are in the wealthiest group and the highest educated group. The people who come out of this world. I want to show you some of those members. So these are people who are coming to Mindvalley University. Sammy Taggett, incredible DJ Bianca Andrescu. Okay, so Mickey Agrawal, I mentioned her. She's started 300 million dollar Bianca Andrescu at 19 years old, beat Serena Williams and won the US Open. She's going to be there. Like you get all of these like incredible sports stars coming. Why? Because Mindvalley helped change her life. Ollie Ollerton, he's a famous, he has a reality TV show in the, in, in the UK. Royal Marine Commando, you know. And, and his reality TV show is, is incredible. Gerard Adams. At 27, he sold his company Elite Daily for $50 million. It was the number one millennial website in the world. Ken Honda has written 90 books on money. He's the most prolific personal growth writer in Japan. Austin Mao runs the Church of Psychedelic Science in Denver. Naveen Jain, you know who he is. Joel Jota is the Tony Robbins of Brazil. Incredible guy. All of these people are coming. John Lee, he teaches events for six 12,000 people. Now all of these people are in the community, in the audience. Shafali Sabari, Sonia Choquette, just amazing entrepreneurs, amazing founders, amazing. This lady, Laura Paulvia, she is the most listened to musician in Estonia. She's there participating in fact she speaks, she teaches people how to use their voice to create power and impact. All of these. Vanessa Rubio, if you watch Cobra Kai you'll recognize that Cobra Kai is the favorite my kids and I favorite Netflix show. We're so excited that Vanessa Rubio who's one of the lead actresses of Cobra Kai shows up. All of these amazing people come and you know, it's such an incredible, incredible thing. You'll see famous actresses if you, if you watch Spanish Disney. Plus you may know Augustina Palma, Emily Fletcher, the Mindvalley meditation teacher. Ajit Nawalka who runs Mindvalley coach all of these incredible people. So this is just a list of some of the members. You will get a, you will get the full bio list so you'll know everyone who's coming. But as you can see it's a really high end group and, and you make connections. You, you, you get to meet incredible people. Okay, now what to bring with you? Clothes for every weather. You know, you never know if it's going to rain. It's bringing, you know you can buy an umbrella, outfits and costumes for the party. If you're really into yoga and you want to take part in a lot of our yoga activities, bring a yoga mat or just, just buy one. Like any. Estonia is a really advanced country. In fact it is the most technologically advanced country in the world. Anything you want you can Order online. They have their version. And door dash, you can order food. You need a yoga mat. You forget to pack it, you can just go on Amazon.de and have it shipped to you in two days. Right. In Europe, we use Amazon de that. That which is German, Amazon deutsch rather than Amazon.com that. It's. It's the same thing. So you can scan this to get an attendee guide. I'll leave this up for a second. Okay. And this is where you can buy your tickets. All right. I don't know what this is. If you're not a MindValley member. Oh. If you're not a MindValley member, you have to apply. So you put in a quick application. Okay. We, because it's a community event, we do screen people who apply and maybe about 4 to 5%, we don't let them buy a ticket because it's very important to us that the best quality people come. All right, now, early bird tickets are sold out and the next. But we now have still discounted tickets until 31st of May. At 31st of May, which is one month before the event, the ticket prices go up to their regular price. So let me now take you through the website to give you an idea of how to use the website and how to get tickets. So you want to go to mindvalley.com forward/you. You can see it up here. Mindvalley.com forward/the letter U. All the information. After movies, you can get an idea of the benefits. It's all over here. This is a partial list of speakers. We have new speakers confirming pretty much every day. So we can't update this fast enough. But you get an idea. You can learn about the history of mind value by clicking on about. Okay, what it's about. The schedule is over here. Now this is a rough schedule, the actual schedule with speakers and stuff. If you scroll down, you can see. You can't see the exact time, but you can see what week. So if you're deciding what week you want to come, you can see which weeks the speakers are going to be there. So for example, if you're a Mercer Pierre fan, Mercer Pierre is going to be there week two. If you are a Ronan Diego fan, he's going to be there week two and week three. So you can see when these speakers are going to be there. So you can kind of plan for yourself. And here you can see the various ticket prices because there are lots of different tiers of tickets. There's of lots adult, teen, kid, toddler, and then there's regular and vip. You want to go through this very carefully to decide which ticket you want. Okay. So there's, these are adult prices, adult VIP. So a VIP ticket is about 400. It looks like it's 500 more okay for a VIP ticket. VIP ticket means you get better seating. So there's a reserved list of seats further front, closer to the stage and you get, get a second private party just for VIPs and our speakers, you get a second private party every week. So the VIP ticket is really good if you, if you can afford it, right? And if not, we have the, the regular ticket and you can see it, it starts at 1199. For one week it's super, super, super affordable. Mini conferences start charge two, 3000. Mindvalley's A Fest, which is a four day event, is 5000 for four days. This is 1200 for one week. And we make it affordable because this is really the Mindvalley event where we want to ensure that people who really want to experience this can afford it. So it's the most affordable event we have in mind. Valley. It's also affordable because of our speaker masterminds. Right. The speakers waive their speaking fee, which means we don't have the, the biggest charge of any event is speaking fees. So because the speakers waived their speaking fee because they're coming, they're going to network with each other, we're able to pass those savings on to you. And here you can see the kids and teens prices, it's under a thousand, toddler price, under 500. And this is where you can secure your ticket. So here you're going to be very careful. You want to choose the ticket you want. VIP one week, two week, three week, regular, adult one, two or three or teen, kid or toddler. Okay. It's fairly straightforward. And you can choose the tickets that you want and order. Now for accommodation. No, this doesn't include accommodation. This is just showing up for accommodation. Estonia is one of the most affordable countries in the world. In fact, in 2021, Lonely Planet put it on its list of Tallinn was the number one travel destination for value and affordability. That's why we use Tallinn. It's very affordable. So you can find an Airbnb or you can find a decent hotel room, depending on what you want. Most people use Airbnbs. There are tons of Airbnbs that open up in the summer in Estonia, so it's very easy to get an Airbnb there. And they are very, very, very affordable. And prices, they are cheaper than the US significantly cheaper. I'd say about half the price. So whatever you're paying in the US you're paying half in Estonia. Now there are FAQs here, so if you have any specific questions you can browse the FAQs and if you want to see more videos, more stories. So a lot of people come and they are TikTok or social media stars. They create their own little videos of Mind Value. And you can watch that over here. This first one is just you. It's called how to make the World a Better Beautiful. And this video will also show you how close the community becomes, right? How people connect, how people fall in love with each other. We even have this phenomenon where people fall in love and come back and get married at Mind Value. So guys, that is it. I hope you guys got everything you needed to to to get out of this. Let's now answer questions. I'm looking at the Q A box so if you have any questions go ahead and put post it in the Q A and I'm going to give you permission to to upvote questions. So Lisa Tan said, I submitted a ticket transfer to mbu. I'm waiting for confirmation. I'm sure it'll happen, Lisa. That shouldn't be an issue. Stephanie said, I signed up and I was interested in week two. Well, as long as you buy a one week ticket, you can show up for any week you want so it's not an issue. Someone said, is it possible to volunteer for a ticket? We do have volunteers, but I believe all our volunteer spots are full. Someone said, can we participate online? No, nothing here is going to be available online. Some of the talks go out eventually, like maybe one year later on YouTube. But it's really a community event. You cannot get that online. So it's really not about online. You got to be there. You got to be there to experience it. So if you bought a week two ticket and then you want to upgrade and sign up for two weeks, it's not a problem. You can just email our customer support. Oh, when you get there you can deal with it. Like my team will be able to help you. So don't worry about those little things. So someone said, is it suitable for 50 plus attendees? Many pictures show much younger folks. Yeah, yeah. The average age there is maybe 40. 40 to 50 is the average age of people who come 40 to 50. I think the reason why when you look at photos you tend to see younger folks is just because the younger folks tend to be the people who go up and are dancing a Little bit more. They tend to be the people who are more expressive in their face. Right. The older folks like me, I'm 48. We're not as expressive. I'm not the type who's going to go and like just go crazy on a dance floor. I'm a little bit more reserved. And so the photos tend to have a bias for younger people. But actually the average age there is between 40 and 50. Someone said family plans. Well, you just buy the tickets individually, depending on the number of family members that you have. So someone said wheelchair access. Yeah, it's accessible. If you notice the video I played, there was a speaker who was on a wheelchair. So it's wheelchair accessible. Okay. Once you get to the hub, of course, if you need to go. And Talon is a walkable city, they are cobblestones, which means your wheelchair will bump a bit. But you know, you can easily get a, a Europe's version of Uber, which is bought Bolt was started in Tallinn. It's a billion dollar like car, car company. You can easily get a Bolt to pick you up as long as you can transfer from your wheelchair to a car. But it's very wheelchair friendly. Someone said sponsorships? No, they're not available. Rather than sponsorships, what we do, I mean, we do sponsor people, but last year we sponsored 22 children who were slum children from Bangladesh to come. Teenagers and children who grew up in the slums of Bangladesh. We did that because we want to expose people to people of different lifestyles. We've sponsored Syrian refugees. But, you know, unless you're at that level of challenge in life, we're not going to give out a sponsorship. Rather we make the ticket prices super affordable. Like 1100 for a seven day experience, which is one third what, you know, regular conferences cost. Someone said we are back this year for three weeks. Can we upgrade to vip? Yeah. You know, even when you get there, Cardi, could you, could you come on screen and help me answer these questions? Cardi and Gigi. So from what I understand, Cardi, as long as people come, they can easily just go to the support desk and upgrade their ticket. A lot of people who come end up upgrading their ticket. So that's not an issue. Someone said attendees diverse in terms of race. Yes. Mindvalley is the most diverse company out there. Even our staff members come from 60 different countries. So Mindvalley University is extremely, extremely diverse. Even if you look at me, Cardi and Gigi, I'm from Malaysia, Cardi's from Estonia. Gigi, you're from Colombia, right? I am. We are a very diverse community and we like it that way. Mindvalley is present in over 200 countries, so it's very diverse. So that's it for the questions. Guys, I think. I don't know if there's anything else we need to cover. Khadi, Gigi.
I think we covered majority of it. And yeah, a lot of information is also found on our website, mindvalley.com you so feel free to check it out. There's a frequently asked questions part there as well. And if anything that you can't find, then also you can. You can message us or email us at events.
Mindvalley support.com so I want to ask you guys a favor to help us understand. Right? So we are. One of the things that we have a challenge with is actually explaining to people what Mindvalley University is because it's so different from everything else and so there's sometimes lots of misconceptions. So I want to ask you a very honest question. First of everything that I spoke about today, I want you to type in the chat. What was the one thing that makes you go, yes, I want to join. What was that one thing? Was it the speakers? Was it the VIP parties? Was it the children's program? Type in the one thing. Cardi. Gigi. Let's. Let's look at the chat. This is good data for us. So a lot of people are saying community. A lot of people are saying co creation, children's program, speakers. People are saying community. That's good. That's good. Community. Community. What else? Energy, ambiance, meeting exciting people, conscious people together. Yeah, that's cool. That's. It's a really good, good group of people.
Location. Yay for Estonia.
Love that. Paul McKenna. That's nice. Similar minds.
Oh, wow. So many answers.
Yeah, that's cool. The location is great too, guys. Tallinn. I live in Tallinn and I live there for a reason. I can live anywhere in the world I want. Tallinn is freaking beautiful in the summer. It is. Is unbelievably stunning. Unbelievably stunning. Cardi, you need to put pictures of Tallinn in this presentation. You can't ignore your city. Okay, now I want to ask you a different question. Okay, now stop typing. Stop typing. Now I want to ask you, before you came to this presentation, what was holding you back? Did you think it was going to be like boring university lectures? Did you think it was mostly for young people and you feel you're 50 and too old? Did you think it just looks like a giant party and I don't like dancing. So someone said, I don't have kids. Okay. Yeah. So the majority of people, they are not coming with kids, by the way. It's 70% adults without kids, 30% adults, families. Someone said it's 78 to all. No, my folks are there. My parents are there. They're 75 and 76. The oldest participant was 83. Oh. Someone said they didn't realize they could choose just one week. They thought it was just three weeks. That's good. Got it. Someone thought it was just a giant party. It's not a giant party. Well, it is a giant party. It's more than that. It's giant. Giant learning opportunity, giant community. The party is just a chance for the community to really come together and celebrate. Our parties are about celebration.
Some people are saying going by. By myself, going alone, I think that's actually.
It is the best thing to go alone. It is the best thing to go along because you will meet so many friends. The majority of people there are coming are coming alone, by the way. Yeah. So don't worry about going alone. Someone said we should show more old people. Yeah. Akari. More gray. Gray people in the presentations, please.
Noted.
Is there talk about how to prepare for a possible Russian invasion? Russia is not going to invade Estonia during Mindvalley University. No. Estonia is part of NATO. Yeah. So don't worry. Like, Russia invading Estonia is like Russia invading New York. It's not going to happen. You can make the story much stronger by showing the whole wealth of offering not just the parties. Understood? True, true. Again, I said video producers have a bias towards color, so they tend to choose the parties. To which airport you're flying to Tallinn. Tll. That's the airport code. So typically you would fly to Helsinki or Sweden and then take a flight to Tallinn. They're direct flights as well. If you're from London, there's a direct flight to Tallinn. It's like, I think under 100 bucks. So it's not hard to get to Tallinn. I'm currently in Miami to get to Tallinn. I fly direct Miami to Warsaw in Poland, and then I fly Warsaw to Thailand. It takes me 15 hours, which is shorter than, say, Miami to Dubai. So it's not that hard. Okay. So thank you, guys. I'm so glad for this feedback. I'm so glad you showed up here. Gigi, Cardi, any closing words?
Very much hoping to see you soon in Tallinn and excited for the experience that you're about to have when you decide to join us. And thank you for the time today as well.
Thank you, guys. All right, take care. I'll see you at mindvalleyu. Bye.
Thank you. Bye. Bye.
Sam.
