A short spoken monologue by Marisa Peer explaining that the mind’s role is to make thoughts real; therefore thinking clearer, positive, and specific thoughts directs the mind to produce desired outcomes (including strong placebo effects). The speaker urges clarity of intention to avoid misinterpretation by the mind.

I really want you to understand this. Your mind's job is to do what it thinks you want in mind. Your mind's job is to make your thoughts real. When you're sad, your eyes fill up with tears. When you're embarrassed, you go bright red. When you think of food, your stomach rumbles. And here's the placebo, which gets stronger every year. What we think of a drug affects us more than the drug because our mind is always making our thoughts real less its job, and your job is to think better thoughts. If you think better thoughts all the time, your mind can do its job of making those better thoughts real. If your mind does what it thinks you want, which it does, make sure it knows what you really, really, really want with no confusion, no room for misinterpretation. Be clear, like an arrow. Let your mind know what you want and you'll go straight to your target.
