Habits. Habits are how you wake up in the morning. What are the first thing to do? Do you meditate, do you pray, do you make your bed? Habits are what you cook, how you exercise, how you work, how you relate to people. Habits are trained through books you read, but also through your culture, your religion, the people around you. These are habits. Beliefs are more interesting. Beliefs are your patterns of seeing the world that you often don't even know you have. 20% of your beliefs, roughly you're aware of, 80% are buried in your subconscious. Beliefs are things such as the world is a friendly place or opportunity is everywhere. But beliefs could also be, why am I so unlucky? Why is business so hard? Okay, so at an event like this, we're seeking to transform you by giving you new beliefs and new habits. Now, within beliefs and habits, there are two layers. Let's say the upper layer is beliefs and habits in areas you know and are good at. Then there's beliefs and habits in areas you don't know and are not good at. Okay, so let's say you're the AI person, but not the manifesting person. You're going to be exposed to beliefs and habits and habits. And AI is really techniques like prompt engineering beliefs and let's say practices. Beliefs and practices in AI that you love. And then you're going to hear speakers talk about beliefs and practices in manifesting that maybe you're kind of iffy on. Here's how I want you to see it. Beliefs in areas you love give you eureka moments. AHAs, you see a new way of expanding your knowledge in AI or expanding your knowledge in manifesting. It's an aha moment, an insight. You're certainly seeing things with a fresh practice. Okay, now, beliefs in areas you don't know give you an opportunity. So see it as opportunity. You have an opportunity to step into something new. You may choose to take that opportunity or not. It's an opportunity. Practices in areas you know give you mastery. You may be great at leveraging ChatGPT. What you're going to learn here are new AI tools. You go deeper in your mastery in AI. Practices in areas you don't know give you baby steps towards new things in your life. Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich said, if you want to get rich, the most important thing is take baby steps. So you're going to be taking baby steps and manifesting or taking baby steps in AI to help you discover something new. So it is AHAs or insights or mastery. Beliefs in areas you know. AHAs practice as an area you know help you gain mastery. Beliefs in areas you don't know help you see opportunity. Practices in areas you don't know give you first steps. So view it from that lens. Every speaker here is different and depending on you, every speaker is going to fall into one of these four boxes. If you understand this, you get to enjoy the entire event. Okay, Some speakers are all about practices. In fact, I'm more a practical speaker, less beliefs, more practices. As I'm about to go into my presentation right now, it's all really powerful practices you can bring into your work. But when we go to Eve, it's going to be about, it's an interview, it's going to be about Eve's beliefs of the world. It's going to be about some of her practices. We're going to look at some of her ideas and worldview. Interviews are going to be in all four areas. Because we have such an incredible individual, we want to soak in as much as we can. When you hear someone like Jay Shetty, Jay Shetty is all about beliefs, right? He may not give as many practices but you're going to hear so many interesting new models of viewing the world from a monk like lens. Do you guys get this? Okay, so you're ready to go now. First I want to welcome two of the people on stage who helped make this event a possibility. Kadi Oya and Ola Abbas. Would you kindly come up on stage please. Kadi and Ola have been part of my team for over a decade and they have been working so hard to put this event on.
Hello everyone and thank you Vishen. As Vishen said, my name is Kadi and you mostly probably meet me for the very first time. But I, and I think we actually have met you quite a lot. Especially in the last weeks and maybe even months. You're probably wondering but how, where, when and you know event vision to the execution is really an adventure. And as in every adventure in life, there's different phases and there have been very different phases in planning this event and especially in those moments that have been, let's say slightly challenging. With the vision coming to life, this is where I have closed my eyes, visualized this moment meeting you here, seeing your beautiful faces and feeling your excitement. But also my excitement because you are here. Mindvalley events are all about transformation and co creation. So I can't wait to see what we will be co creating all together in these next three days. Thank you for being here.
Hi everyone, my name is Ola and I am so honored to be here today. And just like Kari was saying, we have envisioned this day for years, I think, because we have been working hand in hand for almost 12 years bringing these transformational events all over the world. And for me especially, this has been a dream for eight years to just bring everything that Mindvalley has brought into my life, the transformation, just the incredible experiences into my life, to my region, to my community, to my family, and to see it come to life today is just very, very special. And today is even extra special because in the past 10 years that I have been doing events with Mindvalley, my family is here for the first time to experience the impact that we do. Please give them a round of applause and it's a bittersweet for us because while my parents are here today, which is very, very special, they actually ended up here because of the war in Sudan. So it's been a really tough year for us. But Mindvalley has always been my home. And for us to bring this home to people who might be going through similar challenges, where you're looking for places to belong, looking for a place to call home. My wish for you that through this community, that you will find the home that I have found in the past decade. Thank you so much.
Thank you, Ola. Thank you, Kadi. So Olaf's last words on Community, that's a very important part. While we'll be looking at the three pillars of the three days age of AI and exponential tech, longevity and then manifesting, there is a fourth pillar. I want you to look around you, look at the person on your left and on your right, just if you don't know them, just make awkward eye contact. Community is one of the big reasons that we're here. And we wanted to create a way, leveraging some of the tools that we speak about to get you to connect with people. Those of you who are platinum ticket holders, you'll see we have a massive lounge for you to connect. Right? But this applies to everyone here. So we're introducing a new app at this event. I'll show you a quick demo later on that will allow you to meet people. And this app basically does something very cool. It'll analyze your LinkedIn and then use an AI algorithm to attempt to predict the five people here that you are most likely to want to connect with in terms of friendship or business. We'll come to that in a moment. Now, why Dubai? I explained why I love the Expo City, why we chose this event, and why I'm so fond of this city. I believe the world that we're going into is getting better and better every year. I'm not a pessimist, I'm an optimist on this one. But I believe that even though the world is getting better and better, there are going to be some interesting challenges that we are going to witness in the emerging years. Because of exponential tech, 2025 is going to be the last normal year in human history. Now let me explain what I mean by the last normal year in human history. This is an AI generated image I did on midjourney of Alexander the Great. So this event happened roughly 2,357 years ago. Alexander the Great, the Macedonian warrior, conquered Egypt, was hailed as the pharaoh and gazed upon the great pyramids of Giza. When Alexander the Great gazed upon the pyramids of Giza, the pyramids of Giza were as far back in time in terms of their construction from him as Alexander is to us today in 2025. Think about that for a moment. You go to the point in which the pharaohs of Egypt create the pyramids and 2025, Alexander is as close to the invention of the iPhone as he is to the invention of the pyramids. It kind of gives you this interesting perspective on time, doesn't it? So if Alexander went all the way back to the invention of the pyramids, he would have been impressed, but it wouldn't have been felt magical. But if Alexander traveled forward in time to where we are today, to the invention of the iPhone, it would feel like magic to him. But it gets stranger. If you took Alexander in 300 BC, moved him forward 1500 years, so the 12th century, the world would still mostly be the same. You take him forward another 500 years to 17th century world, mostly the same. Maybe that's the invention of firearms, maybe the invention of the press, the Gutenberg press, maybe that would have impressed him. But all of a sudden you come to the 19th century and the progress of technology is so rapid, it feels like magic. Alexander is gauging at aeroplanes and this almost feels magical. It feels like this is something that only the Greek gods could produce. He's looking at the Burj Khalifa and dancing to the fountains and this again feels like something near impossible. All of a sudden, in the last 100 years, we are producing things that would seem magical to your great great great great grandparents. So what's going on? I was having a conversation with the futurist, Peter Diamandis. Peter Diamandis wrote a number of incredible books like Bold and Abundance. And he was a futurist and he talks about where the world is going to go. So Peter interviews all of the great technologists in the world. And in 2016, I remember being in a room with him and he said this, he said that between 1900 and 2000, in 100 years, there was a magical leap in technology. We literally went from Texas, the invention of the airplane in 1903-1969, landing a man on the moon. Think about that leap, right? He says that same leap in technology happened between 2000 and 2016. The Tesla car, the iPhone, Facebook, YouTube, all of that happened in 16 years. But Peter went on, he said, From 2016 to 2022, in just six years, we see 100 years of change. But then from 2022 to 2026, in four short years, we see 100 years of Change. Now, what year is it now? 2025. We are experiencing the last year of Peter's prediction. And this last year, 2025, is going to be insane. Let me tell you why. This simple graph shows supercomputer computational capacity. Over time, computers are getting smarter and smarter. And now Google just announced that they are doing quantum computing, using parallel dimensions to compute things which are really, really complex. It's accelerating. This is just. January 7th, Nvidia unveiled a $3,000 Mac mini clone for AI computing, a hundred times more powerful than your current Mac Mini. This is just literally a few days ago. And again just a few days ago, the founder of OpenAI, Sam Altman, said this. I'm going to just explain the yellow parts. We are now confident we know how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it. We are beginning to turn our aim beyond that to superintelligence. So what is AGI and superintelligence? This is basically science fiction, but it's happening in reality. AGI is artificial general intelligence. It's AI that matches human intelligence. The newest ChatGPT has an IQ of 150, which puts it in the top 1%.
