2020 sucked. I was in lockdown in my home city of Kuala Lumpur for months.
My kids pulled out of school. I had to change countries. In the midst of that change, my.
Health broke down because the stress of the entire disruption, changing countries, having my 300 person team unable to function from our beautiful office, all really got to me. For three months, my life was freaking miserable. There was a time when I was on crutches because I've had to go for surgery on my knee. I had to move into a new apartment.
I lost the previous apartment. Chaos had completely disrupted my life. But within a few months, a new life emerged that was better than ever before. And I want to tell you my secret to a good rebound. It has to do with 12 documents on my iPad.
Each document represents one of the pillars of Lifebook. Lifebook is the goal setting program that I'm such a fan of that I brought it into mindvalley a few years ago.
And in the middle of the pandemic.
I went through my lifebook. The 12 pages outlining the different visions.
For my life and I started updating. I decided I didn't want to live in a big city anymore.
I wanted to live in a city that was at least a quarter of the size. I didn't want a car, didn't resonate with me.
I wanted to live in a place where I could ride a bicycle to work every day. I wanted to work from home and love it. And I didn't need another Ink magazine award winning office. As I changed all of these visions, my life changed in fundamental ways. A few months after the move, a few months after the chaos, I woke up. I was so grateful. My life was better than it had ever been before. And it's continuing to grow on an uptrend. I've gotten healthier, I've gotten wealthier. My relationship with my kids couldn't be better. My relationship with my friends and my social Life are like 10 times what it was pre pandemic.
But I want you to know it isn't luck. It's deliberate intent. And it's all here on Lifebook. Imagine how your life would unfold if you took the rubbings of the world.
And you used it to fine tune and polish your vision. If you find these ideas interesting, join me in this masterclass with John and Missy Butcher. It's airing this week on mindvalley. And I can't wait to show you pieces of my lifebook and teach you core elements of this methodology. It's completely free. It's on mindvalley and it'll be an incredible way to spend an hour this week truly fine tuning your vision for your best life.
