Our New Life Vision Is About Time Freedom | Jon Butcher

Jon Butcher built 20 companies in 25 years, raised four kids, and hit his financial goals. Now he and his partner are shifting toward time freedom: waking up each day without obligations, moving slower, and pouring energy into their adult children instead of chasing more achievement.

Freedom was our core value, and we just. We wanted to taste everything the world had to offer, and that's exactly what we did. That's the life that we created. So the new life vision that Missy and I are currently building, I guess that probably the biggest difference between our last life vision and this life vision is that in our new one, our, we have all of our time back. And that's huge because our last 25 years, we started 20 companies in 25 years. We had four children, three grandchildren. We had multiple homes. We had a big life. And that takes a lot of focus. It takes a lot of effort, right? I mean, we wanted a big life. We wanted to have the world as our oyster and be able to do what we wanted, where we wanted, when we wanted, with whom we wanted. Freedom was our core value, and we wanted to taste everything the world had to offer, and that's exactly what we did. That's the life that we created. But it took a lot of time and energy, right? So as we were sitting down to consciously craft our next life vision, one of the things at the very top of the list was we want our time back. We want, literally want to be able to wake up in the morning and ask ourselves and each other, what do you want to do today? Nothing. The biggest project ever. Do you want to, you know, work on the ground? Work in our garden? Do we want to write a book? What do we want to do today? And that's probably the biggest difference. That doesn't mean that our life is less exciting. Our romantic life is wonderful. We're focusing a lot of time on the kids. We're focusing a lot of energy on helping them achieve their dreams right now, because we've achieved our dreams from a sort of career and financial standpoint. So now we can put a lot of time and energy into our kids. And, you know, we are just living this life right now that's slower, it's more introspective, it's more philosophical, and we have our time back, and that is the ultimate freedom. So that's basically the. I would say that that's the biggest difference between our old life vision and our new life vision. We hope you enjoyed this video.
