I'm reading a book right now that has me absolutely obsessed. It's called Conversations with God. It's by a guy called Neil Donald Walsh, who was once homeless and then through a series of bizarre events, ended up writing a book that has now been sold 15 million times and is changing the lives of so many people. I'm rereading this book for the third time now. Conversations with God is a book that has some profound spiritual truth, but one of the ideas from it that has really, really, really got me thinking is this idea of how we are particles of God creating our reality constantly. Neil says that every thought have is creating reality. It's automatic, whether the thought is good or the thought is bad. You are emanating energies that shape your reality. So then why are so many people stuck? Right. Well, Neil says it's two things. The reason we get stuck is because we don't learn how to properly channel this power of thought. One reason we get stuck, we are trapped in our own histories. Past memories, past trauma, past understandings of how the world operate are etched into our mind and causes to manifest the same stuck reality over and over again. But in the books, Neil says that if you can learn to flip a switch and immediately change the quality of your thoughts and no longer latch on to those aspects of the past that you don't like, you can instantaneously create a new you. Now, the second reason why people don't manifest is because, according to Neil, people flip flop. People don't make up their mind. One moment you decide you want to take a vacation to Mexico. The next moment you're thinking, well, Mexico might be a little bit too expensive. I hear there's too many tourists there. Maybe it's too hot. Maybe I'll go someplace. And what Neil says is that the power of making a decision is actually one of the most powerful manifesting tools one can have. When you can make a decision, lock in on this decision and channel your thought in a specific way towards that decision. You literally can create new alternate versions of reality for yourself.
