Advanced AI is now being used for therapy and companionship. The speaker reflects on how these AI interactions are changing the way people talk to each other and develop personally.
You know what the number one use case of AI right now is? Therapy. The number one use case of the most expensive, most advanced technology that we have is used for therapy and companionship. Isn't that crazy? We have FaceTime, we have iMessage, we can see anybody that we want at any time. We can connect with any human being that we want. But we choose to use AI for companionship and therapy. It is that good at having conversations. Each time that I am using AI, I'm seeing how it structures its response and then using that myself to have better conversations. It validates me on exactly how I feel. It mirrors my energy, it gives me a suggestion, and then it asks me a question. What if we used the behaviors of these technologies as inputs to our own personal operating systems?
