The science behind high performing team have high PQ

Vishen Lakhiani and Shajat Samin argue that a team's PQ—the ratio of positive to total thoughts—predicts productivity better than leadership, strategy, or perks. Positive emotional states trigger serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin, which boost processing speed, focus, and creativity.

The only thing that predicts the behavior of teams that correlates with high productivity on teams is pq, the overall feeling of the people on that team.
There's the whole study of emotions. The study specifically, they measure your emotional.
States using a concept called PQ or positivity quotient.
So PQ is your ratio of good thoughts to overall thoughts. Right. The more positive you are, the higher your pq. Now here's the crazy thing. Shajat Samin, who wrote the book pq.
He cites a study that shows that the only thing that predicts the behavior of teams that correlates with high productivity on teams is not the leader.
It's not the strategy, it's not the.
Amount of bagels you serve during a team meeting. It is pq, the overall feeling of the people on that team.
And so we are seeing that happiness.

No doubt. When I think about one of the mindset that an entrepreneur has to have is both optimistic and accurate, basically. So you need a vision of the world that is true and optimistic. I would say that you need to be optimistic because if you're not, then you're just not going to take action. Do you think that there's something else going on or is it just that that it allows you the belief that like, hey, this might actually work and therefore you move forward?
If we think of ourselves purely from a biological perspective, right. Our brains perform better when the right.
Chemicals are being released.
Serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin. The practice of gratitude releases the right chemicals. You're building your business based on the quality of your brain. If your brain is in a healthy.
State, you're better able to get access into states of focus, states of flow, flow, states of creativity, states of cognition.
Where your processing speed is better. And gratitude is one of those ways to optimize your thinking, optimize your brain. Ultimately, you're building your business with your brain.
And I think that's why it works.
That's why so many studies show that we do our work best when we are happiest.
