The Stage Effect by Eric Edmeades | Quest Trailer

Eric Edmeades teaches a four-part program to become a confident public speaker. He argues public speaking isn't innate, and covers foundations, storytelling, designing talks without notes, and creating influence. One great talk can change your life.
You are one talk away from the next massive breakthrough in your life.
Well delivered talk can change your entire life. And that's because of the sage effect. I used to be absolutely terrified of public speaking, but now I have the great privilege of traveling all over the world as a speaker.
I've shared the stage with Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, President Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson. What I want you to know is that all overcoming any concerns you have of public speaking and then becoming comfortable and confident can be one of the.
Greatest gifts you ever give yourself. One of the most pervasive myths about public speaking is that some people are born public speakers and some are not. Ooh, I couldn't possibly. I'm not born that way. I'm not a born storyteller. I'm not the born life of the party type. Oh, I'm an introvert. Okay, let me be very clear about something. Everyone was a born great communicator. It just needs to be released. And that is what this quest is all about.
It's broken into four parts. In module one, we're going to lay foundations. We're going to get clear about the purpose of you speaking and the message or messages that you want to get out into the world. In module two, we're going to talk about the power of story and why it is that stories have such an incredible ability to affect change in people and to educate people effectively. Then in modules three, we're gonna talk about how to design an unforgettable talk, how to structure it so that you never need notes, so that you never depend upon slides, so that every single talk you deliver feels like authentically you and delivered not from a script, but from your heart. And then we're gonna go into module four, where we're gonna talk about presenting magically, how to create attraction, attention, and how to make sure you're speaking with influence.
If you give a great presentation, if you put yourself at risk in front of an audience and you make them think, you make them laugh, you make them cry, you make them realize you give them epiphanies. When you deliver like that, it creates a level of attraction that almost nothing else can create. And that attraction is ultimately power. It's influence. It's the ability to go out there and do incredible good. It's about you getting your message out into the world and having a big impact. My name is Eric Edmeads. I'm your host and I can't wait to share the experience with you. Sa.
