Some people have actually gone vegan from astral projection. So when astronauts go into space and they turn around and they look back at the Earth as a tiny blue dot in the distance, they have this cognitive shift of awareness. They feel interconnected oneness, and they look back at the Earth and identification with national boundaries drop. And when they return, they become less materialistic, more charitable. They see the invisible separateness between things dissolve away, and they become more self aware. And as a part of this, some of them become vegan and vegetarian. Now, when we look back at the physical body, a similar thing happens. I call this the out of you effect. And it's when we experience the interconnectedness of reality, we see that things are separate. We become more kinder to animals, more kinder to each other, and more aligned with a purposeful and compassionate, driven life.
