The leadership of the United States is failing. The media is failing miserably in its job. Because what it's doing, it's prioritizing the profit that comes from a sort of clickbait over what's actually true. But what's true generally in this country, that people care about each other, trying to uplift each other, help each other. There's a lot of charity naturally happening. People are generous, people are caring. That's what people are. We trust them to be so, and we treat them as such. They'll be even more so.
