In this YouTube video, Vladimir Ribakov of Home Trader Club presents his day‑trading setups for September 17, 2025, focusing on gold (XAUUSD) and the USD/JPY pair. He begins with a brief sponsor acknowledgment for 8K Broker and a quick recap of yesterday’s key currency zones (EUR/USD, AUD/USD, EUR/GBP), noting how price respected daily and weekly pivots. He then explains the macro backdrop: the Federal Reserve cut rates by 25 bps as expected, but the market reacted negatively because the Fed signaled no further aggressive easing, dampening bullish sentiment and prompting a dollar‑strengthening bounce. For gold, Ribakov identifies two false breakouts, a bearish divergence, and a break of the recent rising trend line. He maps weekly and daily pivot‑derived resistance zones, highlighting a critical area around 1,936‑1,938 USD. He suggests that if the recent peak holds, short‑term bounces may occur, but the overall bias remains down, targeting a support corridor near 1,936.40‑1,936.30 (≈ 36.40‑36.30 USD per ounce on his chart scale). Turning to USD/JPY, he points out a classic bearish structure of three lower highs and lower lows, two falling resistance lines, and key pivot zones from the previous week (≈ 147.40‑147.80) and daily resistance around 147.20. He stresses the need for bearish divergence (higher price highs with lower indicator highs) to confirm a sell entry, after which the price could target successive support levels identified on the chart. Throughout, Ribakov promotes Home Trader Club’s all‑inclusive package and invites viewers to engage via comments, Telegram, or email, while reminding them to like, subscribe, and check the description for links.

What's up guys, Vladimir here from Home Trader Club and this video is our day trading setups for today. Today in the video I would cover the gold and the dollar yen, 2 from my point of view very interesting opportunities. We will break it down exactly why, uh, but before the charts, as always, big thanks to 8K Broker, uh, for supporting our community and you can enjoy all the amazing offers we have with 8K Broker with the link below this video in the description. So quick review of yesterday's levels we discussed. Let's start with the euro dollar, where we discussed the zone for the buys. That was the first zone we covered yesterday. We got a beautiful rejection and. The rally that took place. Now pay attention how it bounced directly from the key pivot levels, daily pivot levels. So that was our euro dollar we discussed yesterday. You can watch all these videos, of course, in our channel. They are available for you. The next one we discussed was the Aussie dollar, and we marked this as a key zone. where we expect to see a rejection and a bounce to the downside, which, uh, happens nicely. And we discussed on the euro, uh, pound couple of zones. The first was here, the next one is right at that area. We got the bounce, was small bounce, didn't try to— didn't change the trend from the first zone. Then the market pushed lower. And again, so far respecting the weekly pivot level and bounces upside. So these are yesterday's discussions. Uh, of course, euro pound right now is in between the level, so at the moment is irrelevant. Uh, so what's for today? The— let's start with the gold. So first of all, what happened on the market? The Federal Reserve cuts the rate 25 points as expected. However, The market is disappointed. Why? Because the Federal Reserve says this is to balance the risk. As the job market getting weaker, the Federal Reserve cut the rates, but they don't expect to see any further aggressive cuts by 50 points or even more. So the Federal Reserve throws ice shower on the excitement the market has, and that's why we see the bounce. So this bounce is in favor of the dollar pretty much everywhere. And here are a couple of interesting things happening on the gold. First of all, we are facing here 2 following false breakouts. That was one false breakout, second false breakout right here. Take a look on this peak. Okay, all that happens under the ongoing bearish divergence. Now the interesting part with the gold, it also managed to break down the most recent rising trend line. And look at the series we have here of weekly resistance level for based on the pivots, the previous week resistance from pivots and all the daily pivots we have on that line. So from my point of view, as long as this peak actually holds, we can see some bounces upside, but I expect to see further continuation down. And if we go to Uh, the lower time frame here, like 15 minutes for example. Let's break down the— this was our New York, uh, session, right? Uh, Tokyo and Sydney about to, uh, to come. This is on the daily, as you can see here, pivot through the weekly resistance. That's the key area for us. Uh, we also have this Uh, yesterday's supportive zone, and 2 days ago the daily pivot. So all that becomes to be a key area, and the weekly, uh, resistance, uh, zone based on the pivot. So as long as that holds, I believe gold can try to push lower towards the zone of these pivots. Yesterday's supportive zone this weekly pivot and the daily supportive zone, we are talking about approximately 36.40 down to 36.30 zone at least. And the next one is the dollar yen, which I want to, um, discuss. All the tools you see here are available for you in Home Trader Club with our special all-inclusive package. The link is below this video in the description or in the bio. Uh, so what do we have on Dollar yen and why this one is kind of interesting. So the pair tried to break here, as you can see, with the news, but never managed to close and hold below and bounces back strongly above the supportive area. However, there is no bullish divergence or anything like that to say that you know what buyers are actually. Supported by the indicators. That's not the case yet. And the dollar-yen has a structure of 3 lower highs, lower lows, which is a bearish structure, 2 falling resistance lines here and here. And we have a key pivot zone, uh, slightly above, and key pivot level from the previous week. We are talking about the levels of 147 40-ish up to 147.80-ish. And we also would need to pay attention to, of course, to the daily level. So we have a daily resistance starting from the area of 147.20 and then goes through the zones we discussed before. So that's the 2 levels. This is the first one. The next one is slightly higher next to the major supply zone we have here and close to the Uh, falling trend line. So what I want to see around these levels, if the market managed to reach there, get to the zone, create some bearish divergence condition where we will see higher highs on the chart but lower highs on the indicator to create some, um, rejection on the price from candles that make higher highs, higher lows, to actually see lower highs, lower lows, and that should be a great opportunity to look for the sell and from there go down to the next supportive levels we have on the level here, here, and here. Of course, uh, the daily supportive zone from a couple of days ago, yesterday's daily supportive zone, and of course the weekly supportive, uh, area with the daily pivot zone as well. So, uh, that's pretty much how I see The dollar yen again, assuming we reach the mentioned zone. That's it for this video. I hope you find value in this day trading opportunities.
