In this solo YouTube commentary, Vladimir Ribakov of Traders Academy Club presents a day‑trading idea for the CAD/JPY pair on January 7, 2020. He begins by inviting viewers to join his live trading rooms, Telegram channel, and daily trading reports. He then delivers a technical analysis, highlighting a triple‑cycle formation in a strong resistance zone, a powerful moving‑average divergence, and multiple 4‑hour false breakouts. On lower timeframes he notes a bearish structure of lower highs and lower lows, suggesting sell‑setup opportunities. Ribakov cautions that an upside rally showing three higher highs/lows could form a V‑pattern with a Fibonacci 61.8% expansion, which would be a warning sign to skip trades. He concludes with a call for comments, likes, and further engagement, reiterating the availability of daily trading ideas through his community links.

Today's pair on the list is the CAD versus the yen, which I admit I did not see first And was exposed to that thanks to my followers. That means we are doing a good job if the followers know where to look at. I have to admit, they shared it with me. I analyzed it my way, and I think it is pretty good. So what do we have here? A triple cycle in a pretty strong resistance zone, and also a very, very, very powerful divergence on the moving averages. It is very well supported by the 4-hour chart false breakouts right on the top. We have one on the alternative trend line, one false break with a flat level, horizontal level. Then we got a convergence and a pullback to create a hidden divergence. Moreover, we are building up here on the lower time frame a bearish trend structure by making lower highs, lower lows. And sort of a pullback going here, retracing back, respecting that, creating here a false breakout by itself and slowing down. So the way I see that, as long as we are holding the top, currently this top, the idea here is to look for sell setups and continuation. I would be, however, paying attention to one thing. The rally upside is a bit suspicious. It's creating 3 higher highs, 3 higher lows, which is a bullish trend by itself. So we might be exposed to some sort of 2 waves, and then we will need to see, does it develop the momentum or not? Because if it will suffer to gain further momentum and to increase the pace of the correction, it would be very smart to make some cash out. It's important to mention that corrective cycle on On the bigger scale could be two waves, but also could stand as a range. And if so, we might move inside it for a while. Currently though, the pressure is bearish, and the way I see that sell rallies should be a good idea. There is one thing I would be paying attention though, and this is how deep this retrace can go. Because if we go in a V pattern, one move strong down. One straight move up through Fibonacci expansion level. I would say this is a warning sign and better to skip and see how it develops and behaves around the top. Very possible scenario is if we cross through the 61, straight move to achieve a top or inside the 4-hour chart range, recreate divergence. and then start the move down. So this pair, I would be after sell opportunities, and this is my view. Let me know what do you think about that in the comment section below this video.
