In this weekly forecast video, Vladimir Ribakov of Home Trader Club opens with a brief health disclaimer and promotes a partnership with 8K Broker, inviting viewers to access trading strategies, indicators, and mentoring. He then provides a technical analysis for three major instruments—EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and gold—focusing on short‑term price action for the week of January 12‑16, 2026. For EUR/USD, he describes a corrective ABCD pattern on the daily chart, bearish pressure on the 4‑hour chart, key demand levels, and potential bounce opportunities that could either complete the correction or trigger a rally, outlining buy zones near the bottom of the range and sell‑the‑rally setups. For GBP/USD, he notes a similar corrective structure, a false breakout above the upper Bollinger band, a strong volume‑profile balance zone, and the possibility of bullish hidden divergence on the MACD, suggesting buy entries at identified support lows and sell‑the‑rally opportunities. For gold, he presents two scenarios: (1) a peak holding with MACD divergence leading to a sell breakout, and (2) a false breakout that creates another peak, with oversold multi‑timeframe conditions indicating potential sell opportunities down to the 4,300–4,200 support area. Throughout, he emphasizes monitoring trend lines, demand zones, and divergence signals. The video concludes with a call to subscribe, engage in the comments, and join the Home Trader Club for ongoing education and trade ideas.

So I know it's not pleasant to hear, especially with my accent and now with with this cold. Apologies for that. Let's go to the charts. So the euro dollar right now is completing the corrective cycle it has after these 3 waves we experienced on a daily chart. And the plan here is we are following either the ABCD before the next rally or the range and then the continuation. So on a short term, the euro is under bearish pressure, but I don't think This is here to stay for long. I believe that during this week we could see some bounces, and the biggest question would be: Will these be the bounces to provide the push down to complete the ABCD correction, or is it going to hold the bottom of this range and start to rally? To work with that, we go to the four-hour chart, and right now on the four-hour chart we can see the euro dollar has these two waves. There is no there are no reversal signs. There is no day. Divergence on the MACD moving averages, which makes me think that the bearish pressure is still on and we could see the euro pushing a bit further down. We have this trend line from the daily, uh, range we saw before. We have some significant demand levels on the horizon, so there is a good chance the euro is going there to complete that. And one thing to pay attention to If on the daily chart the euro managed to break this, right, without completing opposite sides against, then sell the rallies here could be a great chance for a completion of this ABCD structure before we will see the euro pushing up again. So, uh, on the short side, the lows here are definitely reasonable, logical Targets, but if we manage to reverse and hold from the bottom of the range, as we saw before, from the key demand levels we have on the four-hour chart, on the short term it would definitely be interesting for for buys. For example, if we go to the four-hour chart once again, let's imagine we complete that. We get to the levels we just discussed. And divergence comes in play, right? From there, we could experience during the week some buy opportunities. And for the longer term, we would have to follow once again. We are either in the range and buy from the bottoms, or completing the ABCD. And from there looking for the buys. So to summarize the euro dollar, uh, on the shorter term, I believe we should be going and retesting the bottom of this rising supportive line at the bottom of this range, maybe even beyond that to complete the ABCD move, then follow for some bullish divergences to form. And from there looking for the buys. And on the shorter term, during the week, place during the week, I would be paying attention to the demand levels we have here, all the key lows that the euro dollar has as opportunities on the shorter term to look for buys. Next one, pound dollar, and also Following the same path as the euro has, we are right now under still under corrective structure here, bouncing from the top of this falling range. What we saw here is overriding on the upper Bollinger Band. Pay attention that the pair is still holding the volume profile balance zone. It's a very strong zone. So there are two scenarios the pound dollar is likely to to follow. First, similar to the euro dollar, some sort of move of a move inside this range before. The buyers actually take the control again. And there is optional ways— it's for the longer run. I just, just show you just so you understand. There is an optional way to get that first of all before the next portion of the buys. But we are not here to talk about the long term. For that, you can watch the annual forecast I published on this channel. On the shorter term, This is the very interesting scenario we are currently facing. So there was a false breakout over this peak followed by bearish divergence. We are now making lower lows on the chart, but there is no full convergence, which means no lower lows on the new histogram here, at least for now, which makes me think on the shorter term the pound dollar is very likely To find the short-term supportive zone and one of these lows here, here, or here. And from there, possibly to bounce back, at least on the shorter term. And that would be my potential focus for the pound-dollar. Bounces here, potential and ideal, complete some ABCD move here. During the week, and from there look for the buys. One thing that we need to pay attention to here is that the daily chart, if the, the, the drop continues— let's imagine we are going back to this supportive area here, or even the broken resistance here, right? From this level, pay attention to the rising supportive line, pay attention to the MACD, if it makes the, the combination where higher lows on the chart are forming and lower lows on the MACD histogram form, this could be a bullish hidden divergence to give us the good buy opportunities from the levels we discussed on the 4-hour chart. So to summarize the pound-dollar, we have this rising supportive line, we have all these key lows on the horizon, broken resistance that now acts as the support level. From here, I believe the pound dollar on the short term should provide the buy opportunities. And if we drop to the 4-hour chart, watch out for this bullish divergence sign to form, to complete. Lower lows on the chart, higher lows on the MACD to provide us the buy opportunities. On the shorter term, sell the rallies could still be a good trading option. Uh, during the week as well until it reaches the key demand levels we just discussed. Final one for today, the gold, which is still dancing around the peak and has 2 key, um, scenarios here. Option 1, because the divergence is in play already and we got a bounce to the downside, so option 1, if we go to the 4-hour chart As you can see, the gold is forming this divergence here. So if it managed to hold the peak and this divergence break below this low, could be a great opportunity for a sell call. This would be the classical scenario if and as long as this peak holds. If it doesn't hold, then what I would be focused on during the week is for the next peak to form, another false breakout to form here between these highs, right? And push to the upside, complete the divergence, another peak with divergence. And then going down to the 4-hour chart, the recent rising supportive line, right? And from there, looking for the breakouts As the sell opportunity, I believe the goal is flirting with the peak potentially to create another one. Yes, but with all the oversold conditions we have from the multi-timeframe, these peaks most of the times turn to be fake peaks. Of course, there are no guarantee they will be like that, but most of the times technically when these conditions align among the multi-timeframes. The next peaks tend to be fake highs, fake peaks, and provide sell opportunities. So to summarize the gold, I believe that 2 scenarios in mind with the oversold conditions we have. Scenario 1 is we make the peak here and the retrace happens after we complete higher highs on the chart, lower highs on the moving average of the MACD. Scenario, the same scenario, scenario 1. For that, I would also follow the rising trend line here after the new peak forms as the trigger. Break below this rising line could open the door for the sell. And scenario 2 is these waves already created peak, and as long as this high holds, we will be looking to break this low And from there sell the rallies. I believe in that case the gold can reach down to 4300 again, maybe even below towards the 4200 supportive zone.
