HOW FAST You Become a Forex Trader?

Hello traders, how are you? Vladimir here from Traders Academy Club, and in this video I would like to talk about the truth that no one unfortunately wants to hear. Well, when I say no one, I mainly Mean to those who are exposed to trading world and forex trading world recently, and those who just begin the journey. And this truth is something that you might not want to hear, but you have to. Somebody has to say that, and you have to listen. You can of course ignore. You can of course say I am. Completely out of my mind saying that, but this truth is the ultimate truth which you have to know before you step in. So what am I talking about? Let's dig deeper. So what is this thing? What is this truth I really want to talk about? Let's relate it to the subject of this video. How long does it take to become a successful trader? Okay, so I would like to start with a very interesting story and more like a conversation between myself and one of my followers, and I will read this question. Vlad If I train very, very hard for about 2-3 months, can I achieve the same results like you and the same success rate like you? And so this is one of— it's a pretty common question I receive, and I refer to this specific discussion, but again, it's a discussion I've had many, many times. So the answer is No. And this is a very important truth you have to hear. Like it or dislike it, think I am completely out of my mind and going crazy or not, it's of course in your hand. But what I'm asking, listen and hear me out until the end and then judge, okay? My answer to this question goes very, very straightforward. If I could do that in 2 or 3 months working hard, and believe me, I was working very hard To achieve my success rate. If I could do it in two three months, do you think I would spend years, years on years doing that? If I could do that, I would. I didn't like to go so long. Nobody does like working so hard and for so long to achieve a success. Nobody, nobody. But it becomes. if, if this fire burns inside you, this becomes your routine, this becomes your route, this becomes your journey, this becomes you. The second you— this work hard becomes you, okay? And that's what happened to me, and that's what happens with everyone who will want to achieve a certain success in trading. And not just trading, it could be anything else in life. Now let me ask you counter-question and fair question, which I want you to be very honest with yourself answering it. What profession— and I mean profession, not some new skill like how to make tables in Excel or how to write a document in Word— where and how long does it take to you to get a new profession and be on the highest level of it. You might get the very basics learning within a month, 2 or 3 or 4 or whatsoever, but you would never become successful and expert and be able to generate high income thanks to these skills in such a short period. And trading is not different. This myth And the dreams that unfortunately so many sell online, this is nothing more than a myth. And I, I was thinking about should I record this video or not, uh, and the bottom line, I decided yes, I will. Uh, and the reason is because, look, when I was growing as a kid, my father always taught me, my mother as well, but I, I somehow remember that mainly from my father telling me over and over again Nothing would be the truth. Truth can hurt. Truth many times will hurt, but it hurts today, and it would be much more appreciated tomorrow. And, and I decided to make this video for you because you have to understand there are no shortcuts. There is no magic, okay? There is no Holy Grail. And if you don't believe me, keep looking for it. What can I— what else can I say? Keep looking for it. Okay, uh, your chances— I wouldn't say you cannot do it because there is always this 0.00001% of chance— your chances to become really successful at anything, including trading, so fast are almost equal to zero. If you are super duper talented, which was not my case definitely, and not the case for most of us because most of us are regular normal people, that's it. Uh, and yet unless you are extremely talented and fast and things just lined up for you, unless you're some sort of a born star uh, star is born in the trading world, then it will take time for you. Now, how long does it take, uh, changes from person to person? For me, it took years. And yes, I'm the first to admit, if I would be able to find a real mentor to take me hand by hand like I do with my students nowadays, if I would find someone that takes me hand by hand and leads me to this place and tells me, Vlad, That's what you have to do. This is how you have to do it. Unfortunately, back then it wasn't that popular, and I also didn't have money to invest when I started. So I had to go through a very long journey by myself. I guarantee I could cut some of the years by learning from an expert. But unfortunately, I didn't. I'm a self-built trader. I'm proud of that, don't get me wrong, I'm very proud of that. But as one who went through the whole route, I can tell you it takes a dedication and one hell of personality never to give up on the way. Okay, most people will give up on the way. This is extremely hard, and you have to badly, desperately want something, want this trading to achieve this level in order to be able to deal with all the obstacles on the way. No other way around. So how long will it take to you? It might be 6 months, it might be 1 year most likely to reach the highest level of trading, a level where you are making money independently by yourself. Most likely would take 1 year plus. What is this plus? Depends on you, on your work. And when I say you and your work, I don't mean you go and trade and trade and trade and trade and trade 24 hours every single day without sleeping, except No, work smart, not only hard. And what I mean by that is when you trade, you have to track record yourself every single step, the good trades, the bad trades, and learn from that. If you will repeat your own mistakes, you would be like myself, you would be stuck without understanding what are you doing wrong. You have to understand if there was a mistake You do not repeat it on the next time. If you repeat it again, that you remind yourself, no, that's it, you cut it. If you don't cut your mistakes, I guarantee you would never see changes, never. So if you do want to do things differently on your journey, first of all, be able to acknowledge your mistakes, put them under the right title, name them properly, and be able to stop them. Cut them. Be aware of them and then cut them. This takes courage, this takes a personality, but it first of all takes the recognition, the acknowledgement, and then a decision. And it's in your hands, nobody else's. Not a strategy, not a system, not a book, not whatever, not an indicator, nothing. It's in your hands. Okay, there will be no magical solution that will Do this thing for you. So again, if you are new to the forex world, this truth is probably hard to hear. And again, you could completely think I'm out of my mind, I'm crazy, and you could do it and everything. But I guarantee you, everybody thought it. And most of people who already started are already away of trading world. Only several, some percent left be able to handle with all the obstacles, with all the ups and the downs, and with all the barriers on the way. Everybody think, ah, I'm different, for me it will never happen. I'm the classical example for that. I was the first who said it, nah. I'm way too good for that. Never will happen to me in trading. I would never do this mistake. Guess what? I did. Maybe I should be ashamed of the silly mistakes I did in the past, but actually I'm proud of that because thanks to these mistakes, I am who I am. I'm where I am doing what I always wanted to do. So it's in your hands to decide, uh, how are you going to make it. And from the how are you going to make it, the how long would be, uh, cut. Okay, and I guarantee if you go on my way, it will be a long journey for you as well. And my way unfortunately was to refuse— yes, I was young and stupid, I admit, maybe talented as well, but young and stupid. If I would be able to acknowledge my mistakes and if I would be able not to repeat them so many times and if I would be able to find the guide that I needed, I would probably do it faster. And if I would track record myself back then to learn myself what works best for me and what mainly doesn't work for me, I would save some years. Okay, so I want you to be honest with yourself and set yourself realistic, uh, um, target for this journey. Okay, if you think I'm out of my mind and you can do it within 1 month, then please stop watching this video. I'm definitely not the right person for you to watch. And sorry, I tried my best to tell you the truth. If you refuse to listen, your decision. I wish you best of luck. But if you do understand what I say and set yourself realistic destination, realistic journey, and move there step by step, Find a person to work with, a person who you can connect to with his terms, with his techniques or her techniques, with the style of trading. And so will you if you are able to do the very first step: accept that this is going to be a long journey. Not a week, not a month, not two. If I could do that in two months, I would. If anybody else could do it in two months, they would. Everybody else think and say we are different. Things not going to happen to us. Guess what? These people are not in the market already. So don't think you are smarter or you are better. This is the very first mistake we all tend to do with our ego. We are smarter, we are better. For me, it's never, it's never gonna happen. It will. Unless you are again some sort of a star, and then my words might be completely wrong. So, um, let me know, what do you think about it? If I sing, oh my gosh, you need your earbuds there. But it's, it's same in trading. If someone tells you you can trade and you think that after reading the book or getting some indicator or without gaining a proper knowledge how things should be done, if you think you are able to trade then please wake up from this dream. You are under illusion. It's, it's fake and it's a lie. If you want to trade successfully, it's one serious journey to go through. It's more than possible, but it's not as easy as reading a book or watching the video and then clicking yes or no, buy or sell. and make money for a living. It doesn't work like that. So I wanted you to understand that, to be prepared for a journey.
