Vladimir Ribakov reviews three real trades—S&P 500, gold, and USD/JPY—using multi-timeframe analysis with MACD, RSI divergences, and supply/demand zones. He walks through risk-reward calculations, entry triggers from candlestick patterns, and why positive ratios and disciplined exits matter more than winning every trade.

Hello traders, Vladimir here from Home Trader Club. Welcome to the new episode about how do I trade and the full breakdown of the trading strategies I use when I'm looking for the trading opportunities. The purpose of this video is always educational. Once in a while, once of every few weeks, I take some of the trades we publish in Home Trader Club among all the different channels, if it's the short-term trading opportunities or if it's cycle-based more into the midterm swing-term trades opportunities. And out of all of these, in this video I pick up some and I want to make a full breakdown, and explain the trading elements behind these trades. That means the trading analysis, the technical analysis I do, the trading decisions I do, the definition of the trading levels, the trading zones, if it's supply and demand levels, if it's specific support resistances or following trend lines, and so on and so on. and explain all the logic behind that, and then how do I look to trade it, where from, down to where, and why. Of course, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask in the comment section. Let's begin. Before the charts, as always, big thanks, thumbs up to 8K Broker for their support in our community, and you can continue and enjoy all the special offers we have with this partnership, including the access to Home Trader Club, all the systems, private mentoring sessions, and so much more. Follow the link below this video in the description. So the first trade I want to start with and break down the strategies behind it would be the S&P 500 sell. It was a sell trade, and this was among the trades we published in the main channel. In Home Trader Club, there are several channels. All-inclusive package means access to literally everything we have, all the projects. And this one was in the main channel, not in the short-term trading, but more into the swing trading. And also, in this opportunity, I want to invite you to Home Trader Club where you will enjoy the access to all of our educational content, full courses, both beginners, advanced, as well as a very, very comprehensive media zone with endless amount of videos, strategies, and so much more. Just, I, I don't want to go and break down here and waste your time. And as well, you would be able to enjoy all of our trading systems as part of the all-inclusive Membership, of course, and you will enjoy our real-time trading opportunities, real-time trading education. So the S&P 500, S&P here, S&P 500 get us this sell opportunity with the trigger zone, which ended up reaching the target level we wanted. But I want to explain here the logic behind this sell. So let's go to the charts and let's take a look where, why, and how it was spotted. So the idea here is pretty straightforward. Multi-timeframe analysis breakdown. I use— when I say multi-timeframe, it's minimum 2, 3 timeframes usually. And when all point to the same conclusion, then I'm looking for my entries. From specific zones. So what did lead me to decide I am after sells here? So first of all, the slowdown after a massive rally of several waves, as you can see here: one, two, three. There there are no ending signs for the longer term yet, but at the end of the third wave, we can clearly see. A slowdown while the market is making the higher highs, higher lows. Look at the candles. The candles start to be very, very, very tired. Every candle is smaller and smaller and smaller than the average. The histogram makes 1, 2, 3, 4 peaks in a row, making it, uh, reducing momentum, right? Declining momentum. And, uh, then also the RSI between the recent 2 peaks Started to show some bearish divergence. While the market made the higher highs, RSI makes the lower highs. On the daily chart, we did have a very long divergence here— higher highs on the chart, lower highs on the moving average of the MACD. But at some point, even the RSI lined up perfectly with the MACD together, so I was looking for the reversal signs. that will give us the trigger that the sell actually could happen. And this happened to be from that place where at the end of the 3 waves we came to the place where the RSI bounced back from close to complete overbought around the 80. But the interesting part here came right at that point. 1, 2, 3, 3 waves to the downside. 3 waves to the downside hint that sellers are very likely to take the control. Why? Because when sellers take control, what do they make? Lower highs, lower lows. That's how we know that the sellers are in control— sequence of highs and lows in the bearish direction. And when it managed to get the rally I wanted to make sure it holds specific levels. What levels? Very simple. 3 lower highs, lower lows. I want to have the highs holding. And we got the retrace directly to these highs, as you can see here. Now that is the place where I'm looking for the rejection. The rejection means candles that make higher highs, higher lows, that starts to make lower highs, lower lows. And at that point, look what happens here. False breakout, fake high, and look at these beautiful 2 following engulfing. First engulfing here, and then second engulfing, and then push down. So as soon as that happened and we go again gaining the momentum, that's my plan. Say, okay, let's break it down. And is there a real bearish momentum? I'm going to the 1-hour chart just to confirm the waves. And on the 1-hour chart, I also see 3 lower highs, lower lows. That's another bearish sign. Keep in mind, there are no opposite signs, and the higher time frame already did give us the indication that the sell is coming. So it was an easy decision. Get it to the trigger zone, which I will explain in a moment, and from there aim for the sell. Why specifically the trigger zone? Broken support that becomes a resistance. Broken support becomes a resistance. And that's the key area which I want to retest. As soon as it is retested, once again, we got here some price rejection, we got here engulfing at the very peak, MACD slows down to give a great indication, and that's a very easy decision. So this was our sell trigger. The plan was to go sell as long as this peak holds. And we wanted the last low to be retested. In that case, you need to check the risk-reward ratio. Numbers should be in your favor. Numbers should make sense. That was about 1,300 points in a risk, about 2,200 in a profit. That makes a very good risk-reward ratio for this trade. And that gives us the green light to attack the sell. Target reached. So the strategy here, the full breakdown on the strategy starts with the multi-timeframe analysis confirmation with both the MACD. I love divergences on the multi-timeframe. Then on the lower timeframe, I want to see the waves. When the wave starts to form in the direction of the divergence from the higher timeframe, this is for me the sign that sellers are stepping in the game. I want them to the price to get retesting broken support, become resistances, supply levels, falling trend lines. I want to see these retests and from there the decision is easy. Risk-reward ratio is the last thing you want to actually pay attention to. The numbers should make sense. Of course, the target should be bigger than the stop loss. I'm not going to say 1:3, 1:4, 1:5 minimum, no. Positive. It should be positive, and every time you maintain this positivity, that means simply you will be able to make profits even with 50% success rate. That's simple. So this is the S&P. Now I want to go for the next trade. Now this sell on gold was in our short-term trading. You can see also 15 minutes here. This was as a part. Of our all-inclusive package. Why specifically did I go for a sell here and why did I predefine the levels as they are? I will go to the chart first of all and will explain that. So we are here on 13th of November. Let's go to the chart. So the flow here, again, multi-timeframe analysis, it all starts with that, it all ends with that. And here is what I saw. So from the higher time frame, not because we trade higher time frame, just to give the logic why we are on all the overbought conditions on the monthly, on the weekly, and a daily time frame. Very easy, very supportive in a bearish view. On the 4-hour chart, we did have these 3 lower highs, lower lows And then we bounced upside. And look what happens here. The supply level, the high here of this downtrend, is retested and rejected. As soon as that happens on the 1-hour chart, look what happens. One of my favorite scenarios at the end of the 3 waves up. We have higher highs on the chart versus lower highs on the moving average of the MACD, meaning bearish divergence. And RSI joins the party as well. So higher time frame support the sell, 4-hour chart bounce off the supply, 1-hour chart gives us that bearish divergence. That's a triple flow here that leads to the sell decision. And look what happens here, we flip from higher highs, higher lows to lower highs, lower lows. The idea here is to look to sell, and that's where we drop to the 15 minutes. And that's what we found there at the end of the rally here. Also bearish divergence, higher highs on the chart versus lower highs on the moving average of the MACD and the RSI, and then lower lows on the chart and also the indicator supports. So we have 2 waves down. I want to see the price rallies and then get to the sell. Why specifically this is the sell zone? Broken support become resistance. Last high acted supply. Last high acted supply. As simple as that. That's the decision. Now inside, what I want to see is climbing candles that are rejected and we get lower highs, lower lows, or some signs of some candle patterns like engulfing, like hammer, and so on, or If there is some divergence here, we can then attack based on divergence. So what happened with the gold is actually very interesting. We got inside, we create a rejection here from higher highs to higher lows to lower highs, lower lows, and then it actually also made 2 waves. So the idea is simple: as long as the supply zone holds, the sells are good. Personally, I attacked at that moment. I did not wait for the high simply because I don't know it will climb higher. So I attacked right at that point, and the idea is simple: the protection is out of the box as long as it holds. And what do we want in terms of the targets? We want to make sure we retest at least the previous low. And I say at least because we are good to go as long as there are no signs against, which means that, for example. bullish divergence around the levels. So at that point, the first level reached, the second level is the range, which is a classical demand level, and the third one, of course, is the low from the 4-hour chart. And what we need to do in that case is to make sure that once you enter with the protection, you have positive risk-reward ratio towards the targets. If the numbers work in your favor, which they clearly do in that case, you have the green light to get in a trade. Why this positive ratio is so crucial? As I explained before, we were talking about the S&P in the first example, simply because when you maintain positive ratio between your average loss and your average profit, that means we will be making profits even with as low as 50% success rate or accuracy rate of your trades. So that was the goal. This is the breakdown of the trading strategy I decided to, to do here. And again, multi-timeframe analysis combined with the waves and the levels, and that's where we spot the best of the opportunities. Let's talk about the 3rd trade and the last one for this video. I Can share tens of trades here, but I don't want to waste too much of your time in one video. That's why I make it different episodes. I want to show examples from different trading logics, trading decisions, explain the why, explain the how, explain the when. And let's talk about the USDJPY in that case. That was a buy trade. And let's admit it, will all the trades would be winners? No. Absolutely no. There will be losses even if trades look phenomenal and levels look absolutely irresistible, simply because the market doesn't care how well you draw and how well you predefine your levels and how well you make your technical analysis. You, me, or anyone else. The market will do what the market has to do. So what we need to do as traders is to follow The same logic, the same trades, and mainly maintain the same principles of our trading, trading decisions, and of course the risk-reward ratio. So the dollar-yen buy was very easy. It was bullish trend, of course, but what we found there was a sequence of the lower highs, lower lows, and then bullish divergence and a break above the falling trend line. Making higher highs, higher lows, and it's fully synchronized on the price and the indicators. Right now RSI is above 80, so we expected the pullback and then the further rally. It's that simple, easy trading decision. But look what happens with the dollar yen. So we drop down to the first target zone and we create the price rejection, right? here. It actually even was before that here. It's pretty much the same zone, and it was a very easy decision. In that case, that's a good sign to look for the buys towards that target. What we need to say, okay, if we buy here and we would want to protect below the zone, do we have a positive risk-reward ratio? If the answer is yes, you are good to go. If the answer is no, then look to improve it from lower zones. And when the next place you find the price rejection— remember, price rejection could be candlestick patterns or as simple as from lower highs, lower lows to higher highs, higher lows— and at that point it gives a good rejection and much stronger risk-reward ratio. And regardless of the amazing signs, the market in that case didn't do what we wanted, and it instead of riding, it drops down. And here is the most crucial part: when it happens, accept it. Don't fight it. A mistake the traders do, hoping for good, moving stop losses, let's just give it one extra chance, and so on and so. And so on, and then you find yourself in a deeper hole with hopes and not facts. So when that happens, just get out. So the first zone, which was our buy zone 1 here, right? This was our buy zone 1. As it was holding and providing us this buy sign, it failed. The second zone never managed to get us the trigger. Trigger. So we— I was looking here for the price rejection inside, which never happened. The only thing that was close enough was here, but the one green candle was stuck inside this red candle with the spikes. Not a good sign. Of course, buyers do not take control from the second zone, which means the second zone does not provide a buy trade And it's very important for me to show that here, guys, because not all the trades are the winners. Please don't expect anything like that from trading. And once you face this situation and the market doesn't do what it's supposed to do or what you basically wait for that to do, Simply accept it, cut it out, and wait for the next opportunity. There is always tomorrow when it comes to trading. That's it for this video. 3 trades from the last couple of weeks which I wanted to explain here: the S&P sell, the gold from the short-term trading and all-inclusive package, as well as the dollar-yen, and all the trading logics behind it.
