MACD + STOCHASTIC FREE Forex Trading Strategy

Vladimir Ribakov teaches a forex strategy combining MACD and Stochastic oscillators across multiple timeframes. Entry signals require Stochastic bouncing from oversold and MACD crossing positive on daily, 4-hour, and 1-hour charts, but price action patterns ultimately confirm the trade.

Okay, so I want to take this one and explain you why we analyzed in this direction and how to look to trade in this direction. So based on the weekly time frame analysis, we had a key level with the ongoing supportive line. When bullish divergence on the most recent lows, we expected to see corrective movement. On a daily chart, pretty much the same. We got the reversal, we start to create higher highs, higher lows, no signs again. So we want pullbacks and look for these setups. For further rallies, okay? We have a clear invalidation plan. This is ongoing supportive line in that case. So now comes the question: How can we find setups based on the MACD and the stochastic? Now, to be very open and honest, that's not my personal trading strategy. Okay, I record that and I want to explain that as I keep getting these requests from my followers. Vlad. Can you please explain how it is the best to to use the stochastic indicator? So I don't know how it is the best, but I know how it is very powerful based on my own experience in the past and basically based on my knowledge. As you know, I'm a certified financial technician, so technical analysis and all its rules is basically in me. So I want to present it exactly and explain. How from my point of view is the right way to do it, and what's very, very wrong thing to do with stochastic. So what is the most common mistake traders do with stochastic is they try to catch top and bottoms. Meaning when you have something like let's just find here a clear trend. Most people what they do they are looking to buy. So every time stochastic goes below, you see the over. Sold area, they want to buy. That's a terrible mistake because stochastic not meant to be used in let's say ongoing trend for clear reversals. Yes, later or sooner there will be a reversal, and on what you will see in the most of the channels or articles, they will show you that only. Like you see this oversold. Here is a reversal. Looking backwards is always the easiest thing to do. What is the hardest is to deal with what you see in real time. So do not try to catch tops and bottoms. Stochastic gains its power when it is in slower market conditions or in consolidations, and then you try to join in the ongoing trend. That's where the real force is. According to our analysis, we expect further bullish continuation. I don't know to judge now will that happen or not. As you can see, I'm not showing you 2 months after, you see what happens, I would catch here 1,000 moves. I don't know that and I can't predict it, but I do know that I have the better chances to catch it on the pre-analyzed market conditions, in that case in the bullish direction. So from the daily chart, what do I observe besides making the higher highs, higher lows on that chart based on the price? Look where the MACD is. The moving averages are in the positive zone after the bullish divergence. So we we went into the positive area, right? On the four-hour chart, we have three higher highs, higher lows. It's a trending structure, and afterwards we enjoy here from some sort of consolidation. So break above that should be a good sign. Will that eventually be? I don't know. Time will tell, right? We can talk about it in a month and see where it stands. Maybe it will work, maybe it will fail. But at the moment, I know I'm after the buys. And when I understand I'm after the buys, the pullbacks is exactly what I want to see for possible buys. And again, it all starts with the multi-timeframe analysis. So at that moment, the MACD negative, not good. But from this area, all right, we are again In the positive area, positive zone. And so does it happen with the daily. We already saw that before, right? Now before I jump to the 1-hour chart, I would like to ask your support and please hit the like button below this video, leave some feedback in the comment section, feel free to share it with anyone you want. This is completely open for the community and I hope this video really helped. If you have any specific subject you want me to talk about, please leave that in the comment section. I'll be more than happy to record the video on the subject you are interested in, of course, if I know to explain that. Things I can't explain, I don't know, I can't really help with. So again, YouTube algorithm requires this sort of thing, so please show your support back in the work we do here for you, and it's very much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. So again, let's go back to the, uh, Pound New Zealand and let's see what we face with, right? So once we understand— also, let's go to the report on the 4-hour chart. We know we want to see the continuation by breaking it through, but this is our place to look for that to really happen. Again, assuming the analysis is right and we are Indeed bullish, right? So here, here comes the thing. So once we figure that out, right, we start to look for this trend. And again, MACD, I just showed you the daily and the 4-hour in a bullish zone. Look what happens at that moment, okay? Now look, this is from the swing highs, right? That's from the swing highs and lows, okay? We are into the bullish direction. I don't know if that really will gain the momentum to continue, but my analysis on the multi-timeframe shows it should. And at the moment we have pullbacks. Look, that's the time to start looking for the MACD combinations with the stochastic. The stochastic is the first one to bounce from the oversold area, of course MACD to follow, and you will see that happens on daily. 4-hour making this cross, and on the 1-hour— basically 3 time frames combination, that's the way I personally work always. And on the 1-hour, you would see here after the pullback a slowdown building up bullish, bullish divergence also on the MACD and the stochastic. And MACD again would move into positive zone, and that's where your 3 time frames come in play. Here is the place where MACD crosses again to the upside, in the— from the negative to the positive zone, and it's 3 time frames, 3 multi-time frames, that's where you get your okay to go. Okay, besides that, where is the best sign you want to see from the price action and not from the indicators? Because, you know, indicators indicate, they do not dictate to the price what to do. Right on the price from false breakouts, you would want the price to start and make higher highs. The first thing, then higher highs, higher lows. And as you can see, it's lined up. And that moment where we are going to the positive, everything lines up multi time frame scan with the indicators. And of course, the price catches up and line up. From this moment, I know I anticipate bullish continuation. How big would this move? I Would really be? I don't know. I'm not in the business of predictions. I'm in the business of follow the facts, and so should you if you are serious in trading. Trading is a business of probabilities, okay? Numbers, that's all. We want to join the buyers when where they show their bullish control, and it's very important you remember indicators just indicate. What dictates the buyers and the sellers' power is the price. What you see on the price. And what you see on the price is what happens in the real market, the real buyers and the real sellers. If they manage to buy and keep the price going up, on the chart you would see the higher highs, higher lows. Okay, that's it. Now you could have this question, so Vlad, what to do with that? Is it oversold? Is it cash out? No. Remember what I told you before, the beginning? Don't be scared and don't be fooled by oversold on every single time it goes up. No. That's wrong, and this is a terrible mistake, terrible mistake that most of the traders do. That's it. So that's how you find your best of the opportunities. Indicators should line up with price. You find these opportunities and follow up. Okay, and so so is next for the next drop. If there will be any move up, retrace backwards, and again it will slow down in some range. Right? And we will get this scenario again. It's an opportunity to look for add-ons or join if you missed, etc., etc., as long as the multi-timeframe is lined up for you in that direction, as I just explained before. Okay, so that's pretty much it. And again, I invite you to join us in Traders Academy Club, learn all the techniques we have for multi-timeframe analysis, for trading strategies, price-based, indicator-based, I personally work with cycles and the divergences. That, that's my combination. And of course, the price action, the waves fit inside. That's what we do every single day. We have the live session. You have full of educational webinars here.
