In this short motivational monologue, Vladimir Ribakov uses the metaphor of dark nights producing bright stars to convey that periods of hardship—whether a day, week, month, or longer—are inevitable in life and especially in trading. He shares personal experience of facing challenging trades and emphasizes that these dark periods can ultimately lead to the brightest outcomes if one chooses to look upward and seek the positive lessons. The message is a call to personal responsibility, encouraging listeners to view adversity as an opportunity for growth and to actively search for the 'bright stars' that emerge from difficult times.

The darkest nights produce the brightest stars. My friends, in life of every one of us, there will be always dark periods— a week, a month, or just a day or a night. But I want you to remember always that the darkest nights produce the brightest stars. As a trader, I've been through periods that if anyone who told me that I will have to experience, I would probably give up on trading before even starting. There will be always bad trades, bad days, bad weeks or months, or maybe even more. But this— the darkest periods on your journey are the ones that could produce the brightest stars. It's up to you And it's only up to you and in your hands to look upside and find these bright stars.
