In this Traders Academy Co‑op video, Jordan presents a bearish trading setup for the USD/JPY pair. He begins by highlighting a prominent price spike and surrounding buffer zones that serve as potential resistance and bounce areas. He then examines possible divergences, noting bearish pressure within these levels and discussing wave counts (3rd or 5th wave) to reinforce the sell bias. Jordan emphasizes the importance of confirming the bearish outlook on lower‑timeframe charts, looking for false breaks, rejections, and wave‑cycle patterns that signal a reversal zone. The goal is to identify the precise moment of reversal, wait for a pullback, and then execute sell entries. He invites viewers to ask questions in the comments.

Hello everyone and welcome to another video coming from the Traders Academy Co-op. My name is Jordan and today we're going to talk about dollar yen. The setup which I'm going to discuss, guys, is connected to the bearish side, and let me lay down some arguments for that. So starting with this spike which see right— which we see right here Uh, that's the very first thing which I would be looking for in terms of levels. Okay, now if I scroll to the left side a bit more, we see that this zone right here, along with that zone, basically this entire buffer zone as I call them, is a pretty decent place to look for possible bounces. Okay, that entire place right here, and maybe even this, but this is already below the price, so I'm not really interested in that. So let's leave it to that, and we now have our levels. Then we can go ahead and check out, uh, the divergences. So it doesn't matter how we put the count here and whether this is the end of the 3rd wave or the end of the 5th wave, we are looking at potential divergences, right? There is bearish pressure inside the level. And for the divergence traders, this is already a good opportunity to start looking for the sells. However, we're going to do it in a bit different way, and we can start looking— I hit this. Okay, we can start looking for, uh, the way the price is developing on the lower time frames and Looking at that, we've been following it in the club for so long. Well, so long ever since starting from here, which is approximately 10th of March. But we went through this consolidation and the idea was to get one more push towards this level. And at this very moment, we, we, we're having it, right? We're getting it. And I believe we're going to see something like this, right? We need to start looking at false breaks and divergences and rejections. This bearish pressure is already there as well, but this is more or less the daily potential divergence which we, we've seen already. So it's not really reconfirming anything, uh, but if you want further confirmations, you can drop to the lower time frames and start looking at the waves and cycles on this part. And this is how you can start identifying the potential reversal zones, uh, when it comes to this last wave here before the potential pullback. So our job at the moment is to go ahead and identify on the lower time frames the exact reversal moment, start looking for the pullbacks, and then go ahead and start with the attacks. If you have any questions, leave a comment below and I'll be happy to reply. Wishing you a wonderful day. Bye for now.
