In this video Vladimir Ribakov of Traders Academy Club presents a bearish trading idea for USD/JPY. After a brief channel introduction and invitation to join the Traders Academy Club, he analyses the pair across weekly, daily and 4‑hour charts. On the weekly chart he notes three lower highs and lower lows, a rejection of the 115 psychological level and emerging divergence across moving averages, RSI and the histogram, suggesting a possible false breakout. The daily chart shows a slowdown, while the 4‑hour chart confirms strong bearish momentum with MACD forming a new high, RSI above 80, and a series of lower highs, lower lows and broken previous lows. Ribakov identifies a key rejection zone around the prior swing high and proposes several sell setups: a pull‑back to that zone with hidden divergence, a range breakout, and an ABCD pattern with a trend‑line breakout. He outlines target zones – a high‑volume area and prior swing lows – for profit taking. The video ends with a call for comments, likes, and further promotion of the Traders Academy Club.

Hello traders, how are you? Vladimir here from Traders Academy Club, and this video is my trading idea analysis and forecast on the dollar yen. So previous week I was looking on the dollar yen to buy the dips. This is where I wanted to see it going, right to these areas and look for a setup. But at this moment I did not find the setup because we already saw the market making 3 lower highs, lower lows. This was a place that it became— it becomes risky And basically it's a sign for me like, okay, hold on, hold the horses, wait, because it's clearly not developing a bullish setup. That's why I didn't do anything at this area. And now comes the interesting part. Watching on the weekly chart, 3 waves slowing down, going back and holding these swing highs, rejecting the 115 psychological level so far. And what looks right now, we don't know the week, how the week will be ended, but it does look like we are developing a divergence here everywhere. Moving averages, RSI, and the histogram. So far it develops a beautiful engulfing with a great possibility of that becoming a false breakout, fake high. If that happens, we take a look on a daily chart where we also can clearly see a slowdown. And on the 4-hour chart, as I mentioned before, from a peak and extreme divergence we've had here where the MACD created a new complete high and RSI above 80, we are building here a clear bearish momentum by making 3 lower highs, lower lows. Now, if that's not enough, we also start to create lower lows, right? The previous lows are broken, and we do have the market making new lows. So that brings us to mark the rejection zone, the highs of the previous move up, and it gives us this area as a classical area to look for the pullback. And I don't expect a big pullback here, but pull back to this zone and look for setups to go and see, look for the further bearish continuation. One of the possible setups in that case is a carry-on and some sort of a hidden divergence for a sell. The other one which is popular in that case, it's some sort of a range with a breakout. And of course, we always can see an ABCD with A trendline breakout as well. So that's pretty much where the dollar yen is right now, and we can see starting from the higher time frame, the weekly, we have key rejection zone 115, fake breakout so far above that, three lower highs, lower lows with the price action basically, which invalidated the bullish idea from the previous week to look to buy the dips as we can't. Buy the dips when the bearish momentum gains without a setup. And now with the price shifting and switching the direction, it gives a great view here and a possible turnaround for sell the rallies. A potential target zone would be the first— you can see here classical Volume zone, a lot of volume, and then of course the previous swing lows from the higher time frame. So that's it for this video. Let me know what do you think about the dollar yen, and if you have any great inputs or any questions, please leave it down in the comment section.
