I'd noticed something was wrong, but I didn't know what to do. And I just feel like that is like, it's 2023, mental health is the biggest issue that's facing all of us, and really we all need to be able to respond to each other. And that's, that's my lesson for—
There is a kinship that is uniting youth, and that is what I love to see for the future. Not this isolation, not this siloing, but a kinship being built across borders and peace being built by youth for their parents, for their grandparents, and certainly for the next generation.
There are some issues that we have to depoliticize, and climate change is one of them. I think It's sad that something that affects all of us is politically dividing us. And because I am, I am a conservative, I will not do it because the solution is coming from a Liberal government, no matter how reasonable it is. We need to depoliticize climate change through legislation. That's the first thing we need to do. And when we achieve that, then now it becomes our problem to solve, not us versus them problem to solve.
