A short YouTube demo by Warwick Brown showcasing TextExpander, a desktop productivity tool for creating reusable text snippets triggered by shortcuts. The speaker explains how to create snippets and assign shortcut keys, then demonstrates examples: inserting Instagram hashtags, auto-filling an email template for unpaid clients (example shortcut: "kcfp"), and sharing a calendar booking link (spoken shortcut: "A cal").

Hey, listen, brace yourself, because what I'm about to show you might just change your life. I'm not kidding. Buckle up. Textexpander is this fantastic tool that I use that lets you create these little snippets of text that you can customize and you can insert anywhere in your desktop just by using some shortcut keys. So how does it work? Well, you just create your snippets and assign a shortcut key, and that's it. There's so many different applications of this, so let me show you the way that I use them. Helps me with my Instagram posts. If I want to put my favorite hashtags, I just have to type in my little shortcut key and bam, all my hashtags are there. Whoa. What about if I've got a naughty client that isn't paying their bills and I've got to send them a little reminder? Type in kcfp. It brings up this little dialogue box. Type in Warwick. And look at this. It magically completes the subject line and fills in all of the email for you as well. Let's say I want to meet with a client and I want to share the link to my calendar so they can book a meeting for themselves. A cal. Here we go. Brilliant.
