How Shelby Sapp makes $1,204,957/month using Instagram (step by step)

In this instructional video, presenter Lagi dissects how coach Shelby Sapp consistently earns about $1.2 million each month by leveraging a free masterclass funnel built around Instagram. The analysis covers Shelby’s massive personal brand (1.1 M followers), her brand associations (luxury, freedom, extreme opinions), and why Instagram—rather than TikTok—is her primary conversion platform. Lagi breaks down Shelby’s content strategy, detailing the three‑stage content funnel (top, middle, bottom) and the specific formats she uses (raw talking‑head reels, skits, viral trends, YouTube clips, flexing, transformation stories). He explains how pinned reels act as a landing‑page, how each content type serves to shift beliefs, build authority, or showcase social proof, and how highlights aggregate student‑result screenshots for bottom‑funnel proof. The lead‑generation system is mapped out: Instagram story sequences (hook‑story‑CTA) with scarcity tactics, dual‑part captions, ManyChat automation triggered by comment keywords, and email nurturing. The webinar funnel is described, from a minimalist landing page to a pre‑frame thank‑you video, reminder stories, and multiple email reminders to boost attendance. Conversion is achieved through a 2‑hour webinar (value segment then pitch), followed by an “advisor call” that actually qualifies financially via Typeform and calendar booking, culminating in the sale of a $6,000 high‑ticket coaching program. Throughout, Lagi emphasizes volume, social proof, scarcity, and automation as the levers that turn content into a multi‑million‑dollar engine, and offers his own coaching services for viewers who want to replicate the system.

How Shelby Saab is making over $1.2 million every single month from her coaching business. So in this video, I'll break down exactly how Shelby is making million-dollar months consistently using this super simple free masterclass funnel. So in this video, you will learn exactly how she's posting content that sells $6,000 offers. That's the price of her high-ticket coaching program without any problems and objections at all with her entire content strategy breakdown. Then I'll show you how she gets 1,000+ qualified leads every single week watching her free masterclass. And then I'll also break down her entire 8-figure sales process from Reels to webinar and becoming her high-ticket client. And lastly and most importantly, how you can copy all of this and implement this into your info coaching business. So my name is Lagi and from the last 2 years I've been helping coaches and creators start or scale their info coaching businesses. So if you're looking for help, just go onto the first link in the description and you can book a one-to-one directly with me. Okay, so let's start with content. Now content is the backbone of every single online business that you see. Doesn't matter if it's info, if it's SMMA, whatever it is, Content is the most important thing, right? And Shelby posts like a creator but earns like an entrepreneur. Because if you look at her Instagram content strategy, she literally posts like a content creator, like the TikToks we see, right? The viral memes and all. But even after posting that type of content, she is earning 7 figures a month, which is like the top 1% of entrepreneurs, right? Okay, so let's break down or let's start with her Instagram. Now on Instagram, she has a huge, huge personal brand. Let me take out my pen. She has a huge personal brand, 1.1 million followers, and a part of her earning some figures a month also comes down to the traffic she's getting, like the amount of traffic or volume, right? Because you cannot expect to make $1 million a month in info with 10,000 followers. You can do it, but it's very, very rare, right? Her brand associates like girl boss. If you talk about brand associations, what brand associations actually are is what they think of you, like your ICP think of you when they watch your content on Instagram, right? What they associate yourself, your personal brand, Shelby's brand really associates with financial independence, freedom, extreme opinions, materialism, no mediocrity, traveling, luxury, confidence, cars, watches, rich girl transformation. You get my point, like the typical guru kind of associations. Shelby's main platform is Instagram. She's also using TikTok, but when it comes to converting high-ticket clients, TikTok is not that good. It's really, really good for building your brand awareness and going viral, but when we are talking about conversions, info, or high-ticket clients,, I would really suggest you stick to Instagram. Shelby's main platform is Instagram. Now on Instagram, there are only 3 ways that you can market your product or yourself or build your personal brand. That is Reels, Stories, and carousels. Now obviously it's the main platform, so Shelby is using all of them. We will start with Reels. Now if we talk about Reels or if you go onto the Reels tab, first we see is that pinned Reels. Now pinned Reels is a really, really great way to treat your Instagram like a landing page. You can literally give your audience beliefs about who you are. You can nurture them, you can show the proofs, your coaching program, your student results. So going into your content, they already have frame or beliefs about your product, who you are, or if you even know what you're talking about or not, right? If you are authority or not. So if we talk about these pinned reels, so the first reel is all about beliefs where the belief she's shifting is the harsh truth about networking as a woman. Now the common belief is like, you know, you should network in sales and as a woman networking is really, really good. But then Shelby comes up and says, "Hey, networking is a complete waste of time." Doing something like this gives you an authority. You stand out from the rest of the market because the rest of the market is just preaching the same exact old school stuff, you know, network and meet people, blah, blah, blah. But you know that this thing doesn't work anymore. So then comes Shelby and she posted a reel and it went viral. Then the second thing is authority. Shelby is knocking the door or making a sale live in the reel. So it gives her the authority that, hey, this girl really knows what she's talking about. And then the third reel is also about the authority. So 6 sales objections in 60 seconds. So just to build the credibility that, hey, I am a great saleswoman and if you are learning from me, it means you are learning from the best. But you get my point, right? It builds authority. Then if we go onto the main tab, so whenever you click on a profile, the main tab opens, home tab, whatever you call it. Here she also pinned 3 posts. Here again, the first reel she pinned is about beliefs. Play unfair to men. Now again, the normal advice says, you know, you should be fair, blah, blah, blah. But then as I said you in the content or brand associations like extreme opinions. So opinions like that build you a cult-like following. What Andrew Tate is doing, he's really focusing on one type of audience. He's not trying to impress everyone. Same with Shelby. She's not trying to impress everyone. She know who is her ICP. She knows what the dreams, what the desired situation, what's the current situation, what they want to hear and what they need to do, right? So that's the level of detail you want in your content. Okay? Now the second real C-Pain is the transformation story that gives you the proof that, hey, this girl was struggling 3, 4 years ago and now she's living my dream life. So you started to looking at her like your role model, right? That's the whole entire point of sharing your transformation story that you can relate to your ICP. Like, If let's say I post a video, then my transformation story would be, hey, I was struggling in my coaching business and now I'm successful making 6 figures a month, for example, right? So that's the transformation story I will post. So my ICP, who's coaches and creators wanting to start or scale coaching businesses, can really relate to me. And if you cannot relate to someone, they'll not buy from you. That's for a fact. So the transformation story is really, really effective. And the third reel she posted is the authority reels. It's the same one that, hey, 6 objections and 60 seconds so that people get to know her sales brilliance because her content is all around flexing and the viral trending content. But if she posting the actual real sales advice, raw value, then her audience gets to know the sales brilliance of Shelby, right? Okay, now the second thing on Reels is the content formats that she's using. Now content formats is actually how you record and deliver the content. Now there are different, different formats. For example, this video is a raw format. So there are a lot of formats on Reels, right? And Shelby is using mostly all of them, right? So the first one she is literally spamming is raw talking head videos. Now, raw talking head videos, if you guys notice a pattern from the last year or so, the raw talking head video really started blowing up because people are fed up of those highly edited brain-raining edits even on short form. So if she is doing a raw talking head video, first of all, she stands out from her competitors, and then her audience can relate to her because it's a raw talking head video, right? And then the best part is raw talking head video is literally the lowest value content. I mean, in terms of efforts, right? You don't need any editing, you don't need any crazy stuff. All you need to do is take out your phone, record yourself talking into the camera, and then post it. So you can really bump up the volume. And if you are following Shelby, she posts around 2 to 3 times a day. Now, if she has to do the really highly edited Reels, it'll take around 3 to 4 hours, even sometimes even days to edit a single Reel. But raw talking head format, just 10 minutes and you are done with the Reel, right? So you can start implementing into your content strategy if you are not doing it.. But here are some things that you need to care about if you are doing raw talking head videos. First of all, you have to be really, really good at short-form content because raw talking head videos, you cannot edit it. You have to post it raw, right? So you have to come up with a really good hook because there is no visual hook, there is no audio hook. All it is is the verbal hook. So you have to be really good at making short-form content. Then be aware of your surroundings, right? If you are selling to entrepreneurs and if you are sitting in like a homeless position, you feel like you're homeless, then it doesn't make any sense. Now you can see in this reel, Shelby literally sitting in, I guess, a $500,000 car, her new G-Wagon. Indirectly, it signals that, hey, I have money, I know what I'm doing, and I am better than you. It is not like the regular flexing, like the press scales type of stuff, but still, your environment matters a lot in your content, right? If you are doing this raw talking head format. So be aware of your surroundings, make it really appealing, make sure it builds authority, and you are good to go with raw talking head format. Then she's posting skits. Now, skits, I don't need to explain, right? You get my point. Me explaining to my mom that I literally no choice but spending $500K at Mercedes-Benz. Then viral trends, memes and stuff like that. So dressing like a bum because my cause of it. So this was a trend and she's capitalizing on almost every single one of the viral trends in the market because as I told you before that she's posting like a creator, like a proper creator, but earning like an entrepreneur, right? Then she's posting clips from YouTube. So it's a middle of funnel content. It nurtures her audience about sales. So lifestyle is cool, but if they don't know what you are doing or if you're credible enough to teach them your business model, then they're not going to buy from you. If I don't know who you are, if I I cannot trust you on your sales ability, how can you train me on sales, right? Maybe you can have a G-Wagon, maybe you can have the best house in the world, but if you are not posting anything related to sales, then it doesn't even matter. Next format is flexing. So she just flexing about her lifestyle, her income, her student results, her cars, her house, the traveling. You get my point. Just literally flexing. And flexing is again, she keeps the ICP in mind. ICP is again the center of the entire content strategy that she's using.. So what her ICP likes, maybe they like a G-Wagon, so she bought a G-Wagon. Maybe they like living in Miami, she's already living in Miami. So you get my point. That's how people relate to you. That's how people started looking to you as a role model that, hey, uh, one day I'll be like this guy because this guy is literally living the dream life that I want to live, right? So flexing content, Bryce Scales, TJR, all of them are doing it, right? Then her transformation, how she transformed herself from struggling to making, you know, any sales with the door-to-door sales and now making over million-dollar months with high-ticket sales. So getting nos after nos all the time, 18-year-old. Then she has some transition and boom, she is with her G-Wagon, right? So that's her transformation story. Transformation story again so that she can relate to her audience that, hey, I am where you are right now 3 years ago. And now if you want to live like me, you can learn from me. So that's the, you can say, psychology behind it, right? So from all the content formats, you can see that Shelby posts like a creator. Okay, that is cool, but she earns like an entrepreneur, and I'll go over how she earns like an entrepreneur in the leads and conversion section. But for now, let's understand what is she even posting and why she's posting that, right? And to understand that, you need to first understand this content funnel. So if you are using content to sell any of your product, then this is the funnel that you have to use every single time. So this funnel has 3 parts: top of funnel, middle of funnel, and bottom of funnel. So top of funnel is where you get as many people as to know you. The main goal here is that, hey, building my brand awareness, you can know that someone Shelby Saab exists in this world, right? So making viral content, I'll give an example, making flexing content, viral trend skits, these are all parts of top of funnel content. Now there is no value, there is no explanation of her sales. She's not even mentioning that she's making all the money from sales or she have a coaching program where she can teach you how to do it. All she's doing is, you know, posting viral trends, viral content using viral content formats so she can reach way more people. Then comes the middle of funnel part. You have to show that you are the expert in your niche. Shelby is posting the raw talking head videos and Shelby's posting her transformation. That's how people get to know that Shelby is in sales. She's really, really good at what she's doing, which is sales. Last part is bottom of funnel where you have an insane amount of proof. Bottom funnel is most of the time it is not necessary, but Shelby's not using any long-form content, so she has to really push people over the fence because what long-form content does, you can really nurture people. Inside your YouTube videos, but Shelby is not taking YouTube seriously. So she had to post a lot of, lot of student results to get people to know that she have an insane amount of social proof and what she is doing, her coaching program really works, or if it can work for XYZ, it can work for you as well, right? So the skits, the viral trends, the flexing content, it is all top of funnel. The main goal here is to get more views, get as many people to know you so they can funnel them down to the middle of funnel, then bottom of funnel, finally attending a webinar and paying her $6,000 for a coaching program, right? Then the clips from YouTube, she's talking about sales, teaching you sales. In this video, she's talking with a girl, I guess in a car dealership, and she's teaching that girl that, hey, how you can sell a pen. Now, videos like this builds your authority. Then the raw talking head videos where she is giving sauce about sales. These type of content that nurtures your audience, it's a middle of funnel content, and this content shows that Shelby is amazing at sales and it's value-driven content. If people are not getting value from your content, they're not going to buy from you. Either you are pushing top of funnel, middle of funnel, bottom of funnel, it doesn't matter. Somewhere in your funnel, they have to get some value from your content. Then the last thing is bottom of funnel content where you just get them to buy, posting a transformation and then student results maxing. So student results, most of people what they do, they just either post a story, right? So they either post a story or they either post some photos of student results. Really sorry for that writing, it's really bad, but okay. Student results maxing. What she's doing, she's literally going out to her students. Maybe they live in Miami or they flew out to her, but what she did is she's literally showing the proof that her student bought a new car worth $100,000 or worth $50,000, or she bought a new house or XYZ. But you get my point. This is what I call the student results maxing. This is the highest form of student results that you can show in your content. So get them to buy, building an actual cult-like community, students results that shows the product quality. So that is the main goal with bottom of funnel content, right? So that is her content funnel. And in top of funnel, she's posting content that appeals to almost every woman. Lifestyle content, funny skits, extreme opinions, traveling to nice places, luxury cars, relationships, money. That's how a lot of women get interested in what she's doing, who she is. Then she redirects all the traffic to her middle of funnel where she teaches sales that, hey, I made all of my money through sales. And then lastly, bottom of funnel where she told you that, hey, I have a coaching program, that's my story, and I have a lot of, lot of shooter results and I'm the best in the market. So that's how organic content funnel essentially works, right? Now the next thing on Instagram is highlights. And on highlights, all she's doing is just flexing her student wins. So she has these 3 tabs of highlights. So you see tab number 1 here, this is the tab number 2, and this is the tab number 3. And she has almost over 200+ screenshots of her student results, screenshot of the checks, screenshot of the commissions. So all it shows is proof, right? So that, hey, my program really works and this is my student results. So if somebody is watching her page for the first time, they got to know that this girl really knows know something, and her coaching program is really, really amazing because that's why she had tons of student results in the first place, right? So that is it about Instagram. That is how she is using Instagram. That's a main platform. The second platform is YouTube. Now she's not taking YouTube seriously at all, so she's not posting that much on YouTube, but most of the videos are targeted towards ICP because again, as I said, your entire goal with content strategy is to, you know, convince your ICP that, hey, you are the best in the market. So you have to flex according to your ICP. You have to post valuable content according to your ICP. You have to do every single thing on your personal brand according to your ICP. And sharing your story, that's also according to your ICP because that's what they love to see. On YouTube, you can see the videos, how to fix your relationship with money, how to give yourself the rich Portia Pilates lifestyle. She explains that, hey, I did it via sales. You can do it via sales. Then, week in the life of a multimillionaire CEO. You get my point. She's not taking it seriously. We will just move on to the next section, which is leads. But that is it for the traffic. That's how she gets tons of every single week to watch her masterclass. Now the lead section, how she's getting interested people to watch her webinar in the first place. Most of Shailpi's audience is on Instagram. She's also posting on TikTok, but there's not a really good way you can redirect people from TikTok. She's mostly getting leads or high-quality leads from Instagram, from stories and from reels and from also DMs. First of all, the story sequence, that is the best thing you can do on Instagram because of the people who are watching it, they already know you, they are already in your ecosystem, they follow you. There are 3 stages with content. Know, like, and trust, right? So first you know someone, a creator, then you start watching more of their content. Now you start loving them, loving the content, who they are, what they're doing, and then finally you trust them to a point where you can buy $5,000, $10,000, sometimes even $20,000, $30,000 products, right? So story sequences, most of the people, they already know you or maybe they already like you. So all you have to do is build that trust. So how you do it, let me give an example. So this is the hook. Would making an extra $4K a month by closing deals part-time help you pay the bills? Obviously it does. And she gets people by this hook. And this is just to make it more engaging. She added a poll. Then the next thing is the only requirement is 18+, no victim mindset, commit a few hours, must be willing. Now you see the requirements are designed according to her ICP so that they can feel, okay, this is me. And obviously I want to make $4,000 a month. The next thing is I have 180 spots left for my high-ticket sales workshop tomorrow. You can click on this button and join the webinar. Okay, now that is a normal story sequence where it starts with a hook. It goes into story, and then it ends with a call to action. Hook, story, call to action. Now this is some advanced stuff where you build urgency and scarcity. After 5-10 minutes, she posts another story that, damn you all, okay, 82 spots gone in less than 10 minutes. Now that's how you build real scarcity that, hey, 118 were open and 82 already gone within 10 minutes. If you want to join my free class, you can literally click on this button and book your seat. Now obviously there is no limit of people who can join your webinar, That's really obvious, but still she's using this in her marketing message. So this story builds scarcity. So that's how you use stories to get people to join your webinar or watch your VSL, watch your YouTube videos. And let me give you another story sequence. So this is the hook. I see all what kind of sales you are in, what exactly do you, your sales reps do? How do you travel while working? Okay, so now she explained the business model. I always say it's high ticket sales, you know that, Maybe you don't know what High Ticket Sales is, blah, blah, blah. Now the same structure as this story, hook, story, call to action. In the last, she's having call to action that if you wanna start your sales journey, you can come to my webinar. It's a free masterclass and I'll tell you everything about sales. Now obviously she's not gonna tell you because that's a webinar, right? But you get my point. That's how story sequences work. And if you are using your Instagram as a main platform, you must be using story sequences. If you are not doing it, you are really, really missing out on a lot of, lot of warm leads. The next thing she's doing in every single reel that she posts, like, I mean, every single reel, she have two captions, like two parts of a caption. So the upper part is all about related to reels and the bottom part is related to the webinar that she's doing every single week. And it's in every single reel that she posts, right? She posts, I guess, 2 to 3 times a day. So 2 to 3 times a day, she's doing the same call to action in the caption. Now it is not as effective as stories because a lot of people don't even read your caption because you have to click on the button, you know, see more, then the caption opens. So most of people don't read it, but if they read, it's a really good way to redirect traffic or to get people to know about the webinar, right? So I have trained— let me erase that. Okay, so I have trained over 650,000 women via virtual sales training, built a $20 million sales company. She's building the authority and credibility. So going onto the webinar, you actually listen to her because if somebody's not credible or authoritative, you don't even listen to them if they do not have any results in the first place, right? So I'm hosting a free live class on Zoom that you can attend, Millionaire Mindset Activation, Women Specific Sales Masterclass, 7-step game plan. All you have to do is comment sales and whenever you comment sales, the ManyChat automation activates, right? So it's ManyChat and you will receive an automated link to the webinar. Hey girl, here's your invitation for high-ticket masterclass. You can click on this link and go into the landing page to register your spot. And the last thing is obviously she's getting tons of people every single week, right? And you have to give your email if you want to watch a masterclass. So obviously if she's collecting emails, she's using it to get more leads. So maybe you forgot to join the webinar last week, you know, or maybe you don't have time. So she's sending out multiple emails every single week. And then when there's a webinar, she's building up the momentum leading up to the webinar that, hey, I am doing a free sales training. All you have to do is click on this button. And then you'll be redirected to the landing page and you can reserve your spot. So yeah, she's also using emails. And this is a really good way to maximize on the old leads, right? Because some of people, as I told you, they don't have time or they get caught into something. But if you send multiple emails every single week, they get to know about your webinar or they will eventually attend your webinar or watch your VSL or however your funnel works, right? Now we are up to the last part, which is conversion. So how she converts people to pay her $6,000 for a sales coaching, right?, right? So all of the traffic from her Instagram stories, from the Reels, from the ManyChat automation, from the emails goes to the simple landing page. And guys, if you are running any webinar or challenge funnel, you don't have to overcomplicate your landing page at all. All you have to do is mention the time again and again throughout your landing page and then have a simple headline, what you are getting from all this and who you are. That's it. And as we can see in her landing page that it's a free live masterclass, how to step into high-ticket sales Shelby's app. This is the time, June 24th at PM EST, 5 PM PST. You can save your spot for this masterclass by clicking on this button. Then you are going to learn this, this, and this from the webinar. This is for you if you are her ICP, and that is the requirement of her ICP. Maybe you are sick and tired of 9 to 5, maybe you hate your corporate job, maybe you want to learn a new community, like a new skill and part of community, or maybe you want to work from anywhere in the world, like everybody wants it. So that's why it's here in the first place. Then the last part is her introduction. Hey, that I'm Selby Shapp, I did XYZ, and that's why you're on this webinar. So building her credibility. Now that is not required at all, but still you don't want to have just this section on your landing page, right? Again, you have a call to action to join her webinar for the set date. Okay, so now you went through her landing page, you gave her the email, mobile number, and the details that she asked for. Now you'll be get redirected to this thank you and confirmation page, and that is a really great way to pre-frame the webinar, what's going to happen on the webinar. So it's a thank you page or confirmation page, whatever you want to call., but what she's doing is there's a 2-3 minutes video. She's pre-framing the webinar and confirming the time. So here you can see next up, check your inbox so that you can add the time to your calendar. And in this video she's telling that, hey, this is the best thing you can do. This is the best sales training. This is completely free. Take it seriously. Take notes and join with the computer. You get my point, right? So she can pre-frame the webinar so it doesn't feel like literally this is a sales pitch, right? Okay. So once you, We have gone through this. We are all set for the webinar. All we have to do is just maximize the show-up rates on the webinar by having multiple reminders through the story sequences that she's doing and then email nurturing. The example that I gave you here in the stories, now that is just a reminder that, hey, if you want to do this, this, and this, I have tomorrow there's my webinar so you can join it. This is a reminder story sequence so that a lot of new people can join and the previous people who already signed up have reminded that, hey, I have a webinar coming tomorrow or today. Then she sends out multiple emails leading up to the webinar, confirming the time, giving you some value, giving you some beliefs about sales, about the webinar, and what's going to happen on the webinar. That's the pre-webinar flow where all you are doing is just maximize the number of people that show up to the webinar because the more people show up to the webinar, the more conversions that you're going to get. It's the webinar. On the webinar, there are multiple funnels that you can do. There are mid-ticket funnels. You have a product for $600, $1,000, and you are selling that course., right? Then for high ticket, most people use the call funnel. So at the end of the webinar, you do a pitch, right? And you redirect people to a call funnel, right? So it's a 2-hour-long weekly webinars. And at the end of the webinar, the first 60 minutes is just, you know, some value which you can find even on a 10-minute YouTube video. That's nothing crazy. But the rest 1 hour is all pitch and just call to actions, right? So 2-hour-long webinars. And at the end of it, she frames the sales call as an advisor call that, hey, if you wanna join my program, You can book an advisor call and one of our coaches will understand your current situation, where you are, where you're going to want to go and the payment plans and things like that. So it's an advisor call. It is not a sales call, but we all know that it's a sales call, right? But she frames it as an advisor call and then her team just spams the link to Typeform. And if you click on that link in the Typeform, you'll be qualified. And the main goal here is to financially qualify you, right? It is not to get your current situation and things like that. They say it, but the main goal here is the financial qualification. If you can afford it or not, or if you cannot afford it, they already have some payment plans that you can go through in the advisor call, right? Then if you qualify, you will be redirected to the calendar page, and on the calendar page you can book a call, and then they will give you a confirmation that, hey, your call is booked. And then it's the basic VSL funnel. You'll get some reminders before the call. You will jump on a sales call. They will try to sell you her coaching program, and then you finally close or not. It's all up to you. But that is how Shelby Czap is doing $1.2 million every single month using this free masterclass funnel. The most leveraging thing is in this funnel is obviously the content. How many quality people you can get to your webinar, they watch the webinar and they get to the end of the webinar, you pitch them and they book a call with you. Okay, so that is it for this video. If you are looking for help to start or scale your info coaching business, you can go into the first link in the description and you can book a one-to-one call directly with me to see if I can help you to start or scale your coaching business.
