Before pitching a booking agent, build a local fanbase and prove you can sell out a 200-300 capacity venue in your hometown. Agents want to see you can market yourself and draw a crowd before they'll take you on.

Questions this video answers

Usually I suggest start with your hometown. If you can prove that you can sell out a show in your hometown and you've developed and networked in your area and got to know, you know, your neighbors know who you are. That to me speaks miles. Like, go and rent out your local venue, 200, 300 tickets, sell that out, blow it out. That's gonna catch my attention. Like, you know what you're doing.
