Hi, my name is Wendy Day. I run a company called Rap Coalition. It's an artist advocacy organization, and one of the things that's part of our mission is helping to educate artists. So in September of 2011, I wrote a book called How to Get a Record Deal. It was without a doubt the number one question that up-and-coming artists would ask me So it was just easier for me to put it all into a book and put the book out there. Um, we sold it digitally, it was an ebook, and we charged somewhere around $5 or $6 for it, um, basically the price of a Happy Meal. I wanted to keep it affordable for artists, and it was just a great way for me to not have to keep repeating myself over and over and over. Well, in March of 2016, this past March, I updated that book for the next group of up-and-coming artists coming through the music business. And one of my friends, um, Slick Rick, who is an iconic and legendary rapper from the '80s and '90s, um, he read my book and he liked it a lot, so he decided that he wanted to be the voice of my audiobook version, which is really cool. So we are launching in time for the holidays the audiobook of How to Get a Record Deal. It's the most up-to-date version of How to Get a Record Deal, and it is read by Slick Rick. Yay! So you can go to iwantarecorddeal.com and you can order and download the audiobook, the audio version. We're very excited about it. And thanks for listening. Bye.
