Independent musicians often quit because they think lack of success means they lack talent, when really they just don't know how to promote themselves. Eminem, Ed Sheeran, and Drake all had to build their own audiences first. Talented artists disappear every day because nobody ever hears their music.

never advertise, they never promote, and their music doesn't spread. And at the end of the day, they think it's because they weren't good enough. And that has nothing to do with it. And that's heartbreaking to me that somebody would give up their passion and they could have been the next Eminem or the next Ed Sheeran or the next Drake, and they gave up because nobody shared their, their first or second video, when in reality they didn't know how to do this properly and they didn't give themselves a fair shot.
