You CAN'T sample these artists?! 👀

Do you have a space on your website of, of artists that are like, you cannot sample them? Like, I think Anita Baker, you can't sample. The Beatles used to not be sampleable. Is there a place to learn?

See, you said used to, and so I would never post something because you never know how someone's going to change.

Got it.

You know, Beyoncé used a Beatles master when she did The Blackbird. Drake has used a Beatles composition, but it was re-recorded by someone else. So there are instances where it can get cleared and it can happen. You know, I cleared the, the Beatles for Josh Fox. He has a relationship with Yoko and he has a relationship with Ringo, and, um, and it was for one of his environmental anti-fracking films. We didn't have a lot of money and the Beatles were fabulous, or the individuals, to accommodate so we could use it in opening and closing credits because it was like an impact. Amazing.
