Hi everyone, this is William Davis, and this is today's Leadership Minute. This is 2026, and there are going to be some people this year who are going to move from task managers to leaders. So, what's that one mindset shift that completely transforms new managers? Well, again, it's moving from, I'm responsible for results, to, I'm responsible for people who produce results. You see, most new managers default to task control, to oversight, to performance pressure. But leadership changes when they realize that their real work isn't managing output. It's shaping environments, building trust, supporting people. And when leaders take care of their people, their people take care of the results. You see, that shift from control to stewardship is the turning point where someone stops managing and really starts leading. This is William Davis, and that's today's Leadership Minute.
