Professional DJs typically cost $800 minimum, with $900-$1,000 being realistic for a local hire. If that's too much, look for DJs building portfolios who'll travel for experience, or skip the DJ entirely and use a Spotify playlist with speakers.

DJ at 800 bucks. I honestly think you're probably looking at the lower end of cost when it comes to professional DJ. We don't see many under 800. This would be a good spot to add in another hundred dollars or two to bump that to nine, maybe a thousand to get someone in your area that can work for you. If you are not finding those numbers, broaden your search. A lot of times vendors who are really excited about building their portfolio are willing to travel a little bit further for free to make sure they get a little bit more experience under their belt. So broaden where you're looking or switch over to a Spotify playlist and speakers. But again, at this rate, we do have enough to have a professional come in and handle this category for you.
