RSVPs are due a month in advance, people. A month, not two, one, one month. Don't try to extend it, don't try to be cute, don't try to break the norm, don't try to break the wedding etiquette rules. It's a month, okay? And anytime you try to require anything outside of that, it's gonna mess with people's brains a little bit. I know it can be really tempting to mess with the pacing, the RSVP timeline, and a lot of different scenarios, but if you can, just adhere to it as best as possible. It exists for a reason, good reason.
