Tip wedding vendors the same way you'd tip them normally: bartenders, hair and makeup artists, and catering staff get tipped. Delivery and rental people were traditionally tipped but it's become optional since they're hard to find on the day.

If you tip this kind of person in the wild, like normally in a setting like this, then you should anticipate tipping them at your wedding day or on your wedding day. Like that's a good kind of marker to go off of when you're trying to figure this out. Vendors that you would typically expect to tip in the wild should you be interacting with them would be bartending, hair and makeup, catering staff, and then occasionally delivery personnel. I don't know the last time I ever tipped a delivery driver, so I feel like that one would fall a little bit more into the category of optional but not expected because on your wedding day you do have people who are dropping things off, right? You've got the rental company guys who are coming in to set up tables and chairs and linens, but there's a high likelihood you're not going to see them. So yes, traditionally this has fallen into the expected category, but I would argue that it is no longer expected simply because it's really awkward and difficult to try to find them and get them the actual tip itself. So I've since kind of put a little bit more of a gray tone to this one. I don't think it's as expected.
