A managers' union could force artists to officially recognize their managers and help recover unpaid fees through lawsuits. The speaker bases this on allegations from a lawsuit but wasn't involved and emphasizes it's speculative.
But from what you're saying is if there was a union, she would have had to been official to be a manager of an artist, and then the union would make sure that if there was money owed, that she would have got paid. So she would have to be able— she would have to sue for $100 million. Now, I don't know if she would have got paid back $100 million, but you know, a union would have protected her if all of this is truly what happened. I'm saying this is allegedly because I don't know, I wasn't there. This is just what is in the lawsuit.
