In this tutorial, Yoyao Hsueh walks viewers through the complete process of linking Flowe’s MCP (Managed Content Platform) server to two AI client applications: Claude Desktop and the Codex version of ChatGPT. The video demonstrates how to add a custom connector in Claude’s settings, input the MCP URL (https://mcp.flowey.com/mcp), and complete the OAuth flow to select a personal or team workspace. It then shows how to configure tool permissions (always allow, needs approval, blocked) for the 99 available tools. The same steps are repeated for the Codex app via the Plugins → MCPs tab, where the user adds the server, authenticates, and verifies the connection in Flowe’s API keys tab. The tutorial also mentions that similar procedures apply to Claude’s web and desktop versions, the ChatGPT web app, and the Claude Code extension, and briefly points to an alternative development‑client JSON method that requires an API key. The overall message is that connecting Flowe’s MCP to these AI tools is straightforward and fully documented in Flowe’s help resources.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to connect to Flowe's MCP server using Claude Desktop and Codex, the ChatGPT app. In Flowe's settings, we have this new connected app section in the API keys tab. This will show you all the apps connected to Flowe's MCP server. Let's go to Claude Desktop first. We'll click on our name, click on settings. Go down here to connectors. And from here in the top right, click the add custom connector. Put in a name. Let's say Flowey MCP. The remote MCP server is https://mcp.flowey.com/mcp. Click add. And it will take us to Flowe's website where you will connect your account to Claude. Here we go. So you can select your personal workspace or the team workspace. We'll just go with the personal for now. Open Claude back up. And now we're connected. There are 99 tools here and you can select whether you want to always allow, needs approval, or blocked. There are all these tools and it'll take you from brand creation all the way to publishing content. Everything that's in the web app you can do with the MCP. And that's how easy it is. And in Codex, the ChatGPT app, same thing. Go to settings. Then from here, click on plugins. Click on the MCPs tab. Click add server. Again, give it a name. We'll say Flowey MCP. Click on the streamable HTTP. And then the same URL, mcp.flowe.com/mcp. Leave everything else blank, click save. And there it is. From here, just go ahead and click authenticate. It'll open up a window where you can authenticate. Same thing. Workspace, we'll just go with personal. Click connect, allow access, authentication complete. We can close these windows and close this and close this. Go back to ChatGPT and we'll see it right here. Everything is set up. You just go ahead and start your new chat and tell them you want to use Flowey. If you refresh your API keys tab, you'll see Codex here. And then you'll see the Claude app. In our help documentation, we have everything here as well. Claude is the same process with web and desktop app. ChatGPT Web has slightly different instructions. The Codex app, which we just went through, and Claude Code, just go ahead and add that and you'll go through the OAuth process. And that's it. Really simple to connect to Flowe's MCP. We also have other instructions down here where you can add in the development client JSON if you want to go through that instead. For these, you will need your API key, so you can just create an API key. And that's it. We'll see you next time.
