What's up? Today is day 8 of Vlogmas. Vlogmas. Vlogmas. And it's been interesting. So if I'm not like Doing anything. Like, you know, the first week of Vlogmas, I'm out of town, right? So, you know, content, new places for you. But if I'm just in my regular routine of I'm at my computer, I'm working on my business, I'm working on my podcast, I'm having meetings, I'm kind of not used to recording all of that. So it's going to be interesting when I am the Zoom event manager for a 24-hour event, not Not exactly 24 hours, but like a, you know, it's a Friday, Saturday, Sunday event. And I'm really just going to be glued at the computer. So I don't know what you want to see. So definitely leave a comment to let me know what you want to see. But I will do my best to recap so far how my week has been because we are in hump day. Okay, so the busiest day was yesterday, Tuesday. December 7th, day 7 of Vlogmas. Because if it's not on my calendar, it doesn't happen. So let me, let me go to my calendar. Okay. So I think because my brain knows that I'm having like nighttime meetings, that I just conserve my energy throughout the day. So I spent a lot of time on Monday journaling. I woke up in the wee hours of the morning, right at sunset. I think I woke up right at sunset yesterday too, but I tend to preserve my energy until my nighttime meetings. So I was journaling, I listened to podcasts, a podcast called Sanity and Success by Emily De La Cruz. That's the only one I actually listen to. Like, I have all kinds of podcast episodes bookmarked, but to listen to them— now I get it. I'm a podcaster myself, and so it's like, make sure that the content is good. And her content is good. It's mindset, it's business. So if you want to check out Sanity and Success, check that out. Okay, so I'm looking at my calendar, my Google Calendar. And so yesterday at 6 o'clock, there was— I almost was not going to attend it, but something told me to attend it. But there was a Black Women Marketers meetup. And so Black Women Marketers are for just like it sounds like, they're Black women, women of color, who work in the marketing industry, in the tech, in the social media, whichever side of marketing, that's what they do. But, you know, we all need the people who are our tribe that we can just talk to, right? So that was super fun. It's so interesting though to see how small the online world is because in the chat was someone who I got to have as a— I think we were guests on each other's blog back when we were both kind of trying out the travel blogging space in the early, in mid, like 2015, 2016. But what's so weird is before people were really using Zoom, if you don't, you know, if you didn't see them on their own YouTube, you won't really know who was who. So anyway, that was fun. And then after that, I did a training session, an impromptu training session on Doing Zoom breakout rooms. So it was supposed to be, I was supposed to come in and be trained, but I ended up training, which is so much fun and so fulfilling because I was using Zoom before everybody else was using Zoom. And again, I'm very intuitive, observant, so I get to see the things, the changes that are happening. And so I was able to just, you know, put on my educator hat and teach You know, the woman on how to use Zoom, because the Zoom event that I'm helping to manage next weekend, there's several others going on, and it's always going on all over the world. So there's one going on this weekend. So the lady that I was teaching, they're having theirs this weekend. They've never done this role before, so that was fun. And then 10 o'clock, I had, you know, my team meeting for the event. And then Well, yesterday, I think what I did yesterday then— was it yesterday or Monday? Yesterday. I drafted it on Monday, finally sent it out on Tuesday, and Wednesday, tonight is the night I'm doing a Twitter spate with my creative partner. We are talking about 2022. This is gonna be so much fun to say. 2022 vision— business vision boarding. So of course, you know, you do a vision board for your personal goals, but what about your business, right? So my creative partner and I are gonna go on Twitter Spaces, um, and the cool thing is I'm trying out a new program where you can actually save it. So thank goodness, because you remember the early days of Clubhouse where you're just talking, talking, talking, but if you're a content creator like me, you're like, how can I repurpose this? So I'm gonna try that out. I've been trying to work my way up to that because it's kind of leading up to a launch, kind of. I'm trying— I'm not trying, I am launching a year-long membership platform where I'm finally combining my 10 years of experience of teaching photography, social media marketing, mindset, business systems, and all of that into a year-long membership. So we still gotta warm up the audience a little bit, so we'll host And a Twitter Spaces for that. So I'll share with you in another video on how that went and how you can sign up too, if that sounds like something you wanna do. But so far, I just wanted to hop in and just kind of, kind of sort of recap, you know, for the vlog on how my week's been so far. So see you in the next clip. Bye. My mom and I's birthday celebration starts now. We're at this local diner and we got 3 different kinds of chocolate. Best believe we will not eat this in one night. This is my favorite. Yum. Dinner is lemon and butter and garlic salmon with a homemade tradition of broccoli Cheese rice casserole. Extra salmon for another day, extra rice for another day, because it's good to kind of make 2 meals in one day. All right, so it's Saturday, uh, the first Saturday of the month, second Saturday of the month. I don't even know where we are, but normally on this Saturday I work with my team at Focused Media Group and we cash it out. We We brainstorm, we plan, we execute, and they want to say hi. Say hi! Hi! Hey! All right, bye!
