A 21-year-old running a $2.5M-$3M annual agency is offering free mentorship to under-30 agency builders. He's looking for four or five people to mentor via text and FaceTime, with an eye toward equity stakes or partnerships through his holding company, Flax.
I've been building an agency for 5, 6 years now. Um, and I first started working online when I was 14 years old. Um, I launched this agency around 16, 17, where in about 2019, 2020, I'm 21 years old now. We built an agency that does $200,000 to $250,000 US a month. So about $2.5 to $3 million a year in revenue. I expect that to grow to like $5, $6 million by the end of this year. If we keep up all of the hard work that we are doing, I just remember for the first like 3, 4 years working online, um, how lonely the process was, at least for myself. I was in high school at the time, or coming out of high school. I chose not to go to university. My friends didn't particularly support what I was doing. They thought it was dope, and I get a compliment here and there, but overall it was pretty lonely. I would spend lots of my time hunched over a laptop in my bedroom, hoping and just believing that one day I might be able to figure it out, and I might be able to, to see some sort of success and get the freedoms in life that I wanted and really just be able to build a company and work on this bigger mission that I had in my mind. Over the last maybe 6 months, I've been helping out a couple of guys I've come across online that are young, between, one of them's 15 now, one of them's 18, and they're building agencies and they'll send me questions and ask me for advice and give me a call or send me a voice note detailing their situation. and I've just helped them out with different pieces of advice, taught them what they can do in their specific situation, and tried to be as much of a mentor as I can for these guys. I found it a really rewarding and enjoyable experience. I've watched one of them get to like $30,000-$40,000 a month, the other to $15,000 a month in a pretty short time frame. I know that there are a lot of people out there that are in my position or are in the position I used to be in where they're not exactly sure what they, they could do and I know that if I was that 17-year-old kid again, sitting, drinking Monster Energy, and working until 2:00 AM, exhausted after finishing his day of school, I know that if I was that kid again and I had somebody in my position helping me out, I would've been able to get to where I am much, much faster today. And the same goes even for me, my position now and where I want to go. I know that if I had a mentor in the position that I want to be in, I'd go there a lot faster. I don't have a course to sell. I don't have really anything to monetize viewers of this video on. But I just want to put an offer out there to anybody that's started an agency of some kind that's selling a service and they're trying to grow their business. I will be a mentor for you for free. And transparently, truthfully, I'm really just over the next 3 to 6, 12 months hoping to find a few people that I can invest in longer term, help them get to $50,000, $60,000, $100,000 With an agency and then potentially partner on, partner with them further. So either get some sort of equity in their business underneath my, my holding company and the other companies outside of the agency that we currently own and are building at Flax. Either get some sort of equity in your business in the long term or find a business model for us to work together on. I'm looking for operators for companies that we're starting and I'm looking for young people with lots of potential. Truthfully, I don't, I think about 90 to 95% of people want to build a company but don't actually have it in them to do it. They, they think they want it, but they don't actually want it. They don't go and take the actions required. So I'm putting an offer out there.
