Abu Lahya: How to Sell ANYONE Anything #muslim #entrepreneur #business #islam

Eyoub explains why free products should feel premium, not cheap. Charge $5,000 for a service but give your first client that same work free or discounted to build proof and create a taste for more, like a bakery's best cookie sample.

The issue is most people, when it's free, it's gonna be bad. If I say, hey Shams, I have a free gift for you, you know it's gonna be trash. You know it's gonna be the cheapest thing that I could find and I just wanna make you happy. Whereas if I say, Shams, I have something that's amazing. I usually charge for it. I plan to charge $5K for it, but I respect you and I wanna help you in the beginning and get social proof. So I'll do the best job and I even would accept to do it without payment. If you wanna give me something, you can. If not, I'm totally fine with it. I just wanna show you how good I am. Cause I see long-term potential. That is how it's good. You find something that you would actually like, sit for a second and say, okay, what would I do for $1,000? Like if somebody was to pay me $1,000, what would I do for them? If you are a video editor, you would make a sick video. If you are a videographer, you'd make a secret treat, right? That takes you 5 days. If you are a closer, that means you would take, I don't know how many calls without getting paid. You literally even would send them an invoice where it says service done for 5 days, $1,000 discount applied because first time minus $1,000. And you send them a blank invoice for $0. That's fine. You do it that way, that means you're actually giving them something valuable so they can taste, and then they're like, okay, I want more of it, and then they pay. You see in bakeries when they give you like a little bit of bread or cookie, do they give you a trash cookie and like, this one is the free one, if you want to pay you get a better one, or do they pick the best cookie and give you a small piece of it and they're like, taste this one?
They give you the best piece.
Why?
Because once you taste it, you see, oh, I want more.
Exactly.
