Abu Lahya explains ihsan in business: a seller should advise buyers honestly about a product's flaws, not just close the sale. This transparency protects your reputation and barakah, attracts loyal customers, and builds lasting trust over quick profits.
Selling with ihsan. Even if the person is ready to give you money from what they know, you shouldn't just allow it because of they wanting it. Part of they wanting it is they trust you, and they trust you because they know you tell them if it's the right thing or not. And that's where most people lose their reputation. They lose barakah in their business because they sell the wrong people. That's what you're doing business with ihsan. And now it's just applying it to our day-to-day. If somebody knows about your product, do you let them know about all the features, including the bad features? Because they need to know if they're getting into it. Those are the things you need to do, and you will lose on certain sales, but you'll sell more of the right people, and you will end up having more barakah and more— you'll achieve more from your business.
