I heard a rumor that your mother was actually a doctor. She, alhamdulillah, studied medicine. She was a doctor, but she never worked. So what did she do all her life? She raised us. So do you think she's a failure for doing that? You could never associate such a word with my mom. She's the best person I have. After the Prophet (pbuh), the best person I would know. Everything I know about deen, everything I know when it comes to ikhlaq and good behaviors, everything I know when it comes to doing things with ihsan and being a good person, all this comes from my mother and my father and the raising they gave me, alhamdulillah.
Allahu Akbar. That is so beautiful to hear because how many women today have taken their careers over their family and they think that's a success model? But the reality, looking looking at a very successful young man, that came from an upbringing and a sacrifice that was made by your mother.
And so many people told her, you're doing something wrong, you're crazy. Some other sisters would decide to work and say, hey, look at us now, we're making money, we have money, this and that. I can tell you that by far, compared to any other doctor in the world, she could have not done any better job than raising me. Because the amount of impact, alhamdulillah, I can have now, the amount of good I can do, just from what she poured into me, is, is unmatchable.
