The Shocking Truth About Magic In Islam. How To Protect Yourself From Evil Eye

Eyoub discusses the evil eye and magic in Islam, citing Qur'anic verses and hadith. He recommends saying Barakallah when praising others, reciting Ayatul Kursi before sleep, and performing the three Qul supplications nightly, while warning against amulets and fortune-tellers as shirk.
Chapters
Please don't put that weird. This is shirk.
You know what's crazy? They say I'm not making money because of Ayn, because of a jinn, because of sehr.
It shows a weakness. In your Tawakkr 40 days, your Salah is not accepted. When you open it, you will see the magic spells written in it. You will see the names of Allah subhanahu wa ta' ala written backward. You will see Ayat written wrong. You will see the names of jinn. Seven members of his family died. Many others got sick. So when he went to the shaykh, the shaykh showed him.
I walk into the house, my whole body gets tense. He was actually in the corridor. I see over the desk, there's that.
To protect yourself from a. From. From jinn, from jealousy. Make.
Welcome to a new episode. In this episode, we speaking about something serious. We're speaking about evil eye. We're speaking about shirk, we're speaking about jinns shaykh. We want to run a business, we want to achieve a lot of things. But we are afraid something might happen to us. How do we protect ourselves?
So that's a legitimate concern. First off, no doubt Daeen is haq. If we look at the Quran and Hasad and Ayn, you see references in the Quran. And no doubt if you find the Sahih ah hadith like the one Imam Malik in his muwattah has recorded from Sahl IBN Hanayf radiallahu Anhu, when he was making a ghusl and Amir IBN Rabiy just saw him and saw his appearance and he didn't say Barak Allah as you just did as correctly. And he immediately Sahl radiallahu got the evil eye. And the Prophet then told Amr that you should have said barakallah. Right? That tells us that there is such a thing. This is not something imaginary. This is not something that we can deny from the Quran Sahih ahadi.
What are the things that could happen from somebody getting eor eye?
So like in the hadith, he physically felt the pain and he crunched up right there. You can also have.
Was it on purpose?
It was not on purpose.
So he looked at his appearance.
Yes.
But he didn't say Allah Mubarak. He didn't mean any harm.
He didn't. But he envied him. Right. And that envy has an effect. And from a scientific perspective, many people don't realize, but there is such a thing as causing an effect by feelings, right? There have been studies done that when people sit with people that are sick and pray for them, they actually get better faster. Right. Even though in different religious traditions, not just in Islam. No.
Muslims believe this.
Yes. Because Allah subhanahu wa ta' ala is not just rabbul muslimeen. Even a non Muslim.
Say that again. That's an amazing quote.
That's a beautiful statement, huh? You need to clip that. Allah rabbul alameen, not rabbul muslim, meaning even a non Muslim, that makes dua, their dua could be accepted. Allah is their rabb. They are ibad of Allah, whether they know it or not. We as Muslims, we submit, so we are Muslim. But even a non muslim is abd of Allah. If he doesn't submit, he still has to give that punishment for it. But in the end, Allah is his rabbit. Right. So even a non Muslim making dua can be accepted. And this is why they've proven in scientific studies that dua has an effect like that. When they talk about nowadays, in the new generation, the awrah, when you talk about things like, you know, people having a certain aura, you know. Yeah. Which is that you have this, this effect. And that is in Islam as well, we do believe we have.
What's the Islamic version of aura?
I mean, basically you can say the rab that a person has, like for example, Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of the prophet, it was known that he had this rub in Arabic, like yanay. He had an effect. That's why when Abraha was coming from Yemen to attack Mecca with the field with the elephant, you can read the tafsiru surat feel. When he first met Abdulmutalib, he got affected.
Okay. He felt a feeling from his presence.
Yeah. In Arabic, he got affected. Like you see somebody and they seem dignified, they seem honored, Right. And then immediately you want to respect them because Allah puts that in your heart.
Super interesting. So the companions had a yes, 100% right.
You know, they were upgrading that all the time. Right. And we believe in a thing called farasa means farasa is an insight on understanding things that are not explicit. Meaning Umar IBN Khattab radianhu. In the authentic hadith, he saw a man. Now, he didn't know his background. He's not psychic. We're not saying that he knows the ghayb, but from looking at the signs of the person, he said, I know you used to be a magician, right? Now this is something amazing because the man said, umar didn't know this, but when he said it, he said, yes, I was a magician for my people, right? So Imam al Shafi for example, he studied farasa. So you can actually study in English. They call it face reading. Right. Certain things that you see give you certain ideas about a person. And now, again, this is not knowing the unseen or anything like that.
Recognition. You've seen Allah from people. You've seen certain people who are majestic,
and Allah gives it to the mu'. Mineen. The prophet said, I need to be aware of the farasatul mu' min, because he sees with what Allah has given to him. Allah gives that ability to people. Right. Sometimes you see somebody and I can tell you from personal experience, if I see somebody and they have killed somebody, I can see it in their eyes. Personally. This is kind of private, but I'm sharing because we're on this platform, right? So you see the eye of a killer. Like, you can see he's got a look. Certain people you see, you can tell they don't have it in you. They don't have it in them. I had a guy when I was younger. He walked up to me in high school, and he pulled a gun on me, and I could just tell this guy's not a killer. So I just grabbed it from him. That's what. I'm probably the same for you, because you could just tell from his eyes it's not the guy. Right. And in Islam, we know this is farasa, but when you go to ayn, that means the evil of somebody looking at you with Hasid, even unintentionally, can affect you. But what's very important, and this is the main takeaway, I want everybody to take from this is Allah is qadir on everything.
Okay. So will evil eye affect you only
by the will of Allah.
Okay.
Allah is more powerful than evil eye, than jinn, than magic, than science, than medicine, than armies, than anything you can think of. Allah is akbar. You know, when we say allahu akbar, people translate that as allah is the greatest. Technically, it is Allah is greater than. It's not Kabir. Right? It's akbar Akbar Af'. Al. It is more than. So why do we say Allah is greater? Because anything else that may be in your mind, any other concern you may have, any other priority you have, when you say allahu Akbar, Allah is greater than that, you throw the world behind you. You say, allah is greater than any concern. Anything else. I am in front of Allah now. Yes.
I had an advice when I was a kid. I think it was the shaykh who gave that advice. Simply when we were praying, he mentioned the same thing, that Allah is greater, and he Actually gave the example when you're praying and you mentioned pushing everything away. And he said this. When you're entering prayer and you're saying Allahu Akbar, it's as if you're pushing everything in the Dunya. All the problems, you're pushing it away and then you're saying Allahu Akbar.
And then you, many ulayamada would say that you throw it behind you, you push it up, and then you humble yourself by folding the folding the hand. Is tawados humble? It's Ibn Rajbal humbly, right? This is, this is too short. You know, when you say a servant standing humbly, you don't just stand, you know, chilling like that. This is, this is tawadhu in front of Allah.
It's an amazing tip to actually increase your Khushu as well. Imagine if you stop prayer and you actually push away all the Dunya and you say Allah is greater than this.
And if anybody wants his amazing book by Ibn Raj Khushu fisala, everybody should get very small. I'm gonna buy it for you, inshallah. Gift for you.
All right, now how. Actually let's bounce back on the first topic, how to protect ourselves from evil eye. Because you mentioned it's real. It's something that even non Muslims hear about the energy, the aura, something you have that's not seen or not spoken about. It exists. And sometimes it can affect you without even the person wanting harm for you.
It's so true. And that's why we shouldn't just think evil of people that give Ayn. Some people just say, oh, that lady, she always gives Ayn. That's not the way it works. Nobody has that ability more than it's not a superpower. It's not like you look at somebody like, oh, I'm giving you Ayn.
Yeah, they mentioned that even the mother could give Ayn to her baby that she gave birth to.
Exactly. Unintentionally, right? Because just a feeling that comes out.
So how do you protect yourself from it?
So again, very important. I'm going to give you guys clear evidence based advice, okay? First and everything from us. Quran, Hadith, no nonsense, Right? First yourself. If you see somebody doing good, say Barakallah. Now one of the things we find as a mistake, right? And this is very important. I know it. I think I know it. Is it Mashallah? No, no, actually I'll get to that.
Let's speak about it.
They say Tabarak Allah. Tabarak Allah is praising Allah, not saying Barak Allah to you. Right? So people say Tabarak Allah Mashaallah or mashaallah Tabarakallah. Tabarak Allah. Not what you use here. Here you say Barak Allah fiqh. Barak Allah fiqhi for a woman. Fika fi kuma, fi kum fi kunna. You know, looking at, right? Allahuma Barak Barak Allah Barak Allah. Alakum alaykum. Anything with baraka as a dua, not tabarak Allah. So Barak Allah first thing, right?
So that's to protect others from evil eyes. So I say, oh shaykh Allahu mabarak. You have a great toe. Now I see that you have a great toba. I protect you from my evil eye.
Excellent. And even intentional, unintentional, that protects from all of that.
Okay.
Because the hadith that we mentioned earlier, authentic the Prophet said, you should have made dua for baraka for them. So that's one.
So that's you protecting me protecting you from my evil eye. Now how? What if for example, a non Muslim sees your tob and says wow and doesn't say anything? How do you protect yourself?
Say Masha Allah.
You say it.
Yes.
For yourself.
For yourself.
Okay.
And that is for things that are from your earnings, for example.
Okay. So like your tob is your own tobe.
Yes.
And a non Muslim or Muslim said wow. It didn't say tabarakallah. You protect yourself. It's my tuba. Say mashaallah.
So where is the evidence for that? In Surat al Kahf, when you talk about sahih ib jannatayn, one of them that thought, this is from my earning and he had this kibr. He gave himself ayn. He gave himself.
Oh, so you can give yourself yourself.
Yes.
Interesting. How do you protect yourself from your own ayn?
Again, as in the Quran, it mentions if he had said Masha Allah. Masha Allah. And Urwa IBN Zubayr in the tafsir of this ayah said that you should say this to protect yourself, your children, your properties from ayn.
That's what you've earned.
Yes.
That's what's from you.
From you.
Great. What about what was given to you?
Again, it still comes under your possessions, right? So what you have to protect from other people. You, you can make dua for yourself, for baraka as well. Mashaallah la quata illah bila for your own things. And the daleel is from the Quran itself and the tafsir of it from Arwa. So there's very clear evidence is there for others. Even if you come to me and you tell me. Wow, bro, you're looking so handsome. I can tell you say barak Allah like the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Told Amr Amir IBN Rabiyya. He told him, if you had said, just made dua for your brother, right? So I can tell you appreciate, but can you say barak Allah like I can? And nobody should be offended at that, right? Nobody should.
Like somebody to make dua for you.
Yeah, again. And I mean, nobody should be like, oh, you think I'm giving you Ayn? No, I mean, that's a big one.
A lot of people say that. They say, ekhi, come on, bro, I care for you.
I'm gonna give you again. You think Amir Radian Sahabi wanted to do bad for Sahar Radian who? No. It is unintentional. And you protect yourself. Like, for example, if you sit here and you go, right, you're like, salaam alaikum, brother. If I'm like, bro, can you wash your hands? Right? Like, I'm not trying to offend you, but can you wash your hands? You know, like, it's not an insult, but to protect ourselves, you know? And again, even if you look at contagious diseases, all that is from Allah. It's not something that works on its own. Everything is from Allah. Right? Same thing with Ayn. So first thing, barakallah, to protect others,
make dua for others.
Second thing, for yourself, not tabarak Allah Barakallah.
Barakallah?
Yes. People do this all the time. Like on cars. It'll say tabarak Allah. Right? But tabarak Allah is praising Allah, but barak Allah fiqh is dua for you that Allah puts baraka. So Barak Allah or Allahuma Barak. You can use different sighat, but make dua for baraka for them.
May Allah put baraka in this specifically for you.
Excellent. Say, your tawb looks amazing. Barakallah. You know, May Allah put baraka in your business. You're doing really well. New car. May Allah put baraka in it for you. Allahuma Barak. Any of those making dua for the person asking Allah to put baraka yourself. Alhamdulillah, your business is doing good. Your house, you just built a new house. Allah just bless you. The new child. You say, mashaallah lakawa ta illa bila. And this is again from the Quran itself. Next, to protect yourself from ayn, from sahr, from magic, from jinn, from jealousy. Make your adhkar every day. Morning, evening, sleep in bathroom, out bathroom. Learn as much of the Sunnah Adhkar.
Where can they find it?
There are many books, like Istan Muslim. You can see the little book by Sheikha Thani. It's a fortification of the Muslim. You can find Fortress of the Muslim as well. Yeah. Fortress of the Muslim. This is Hasna is to armor, to defend, you know, to fortify. Yeah.
For action steps for people who are watching this research Fortress of the Muslim and of the morning. Morning.
How would you translate your daily remembrance of Allah?
Daily remembrance of Allah in the morning and in the afternoon. And you seek protection from anything that's harmful. Evil eye, somebody giving sihr on your. Just make your morning in the morning and in the afternoon you research Fortress of the Muslim and you make your akar in the morning and evening.
Inshaallah.
Yeah.
It's free online. You can find it in English, in French and Arabic. It's a very nice little book. But there are other books. There are so many books people can get. But I'll teach you a few right now. And I want everybody from this episode to start this. Okay. If you don't do it already, right before going to sleep, you take your hands, you cup them. This is from the Sunnah. Like you're making dua like this. Then you don't spit, but spat, as they call. Like this. You read and you wipe your whole body.
Okay.
One time, three times.
Okay. So you read one time each surah, wipe your body.
Shamadu Alama said you just read it once, meaning all three surahs and just do the wiping action three times. Some ulama said that you read it each time and wipe each time, whichever one of those you want to use.
So you read one time each surah,
you wipe your body and you do this three times. Right. This is a protection that's mentioned in the authentic Sunnah. The Prophet used to do this. There's another beautiful hadith that tells you protection not just from Ayn, but also from Jinn and many other things. Right. Because people get concerned about these things. But I don't want you guys to be lazy in life because you're worried about Ayn.
People are actually afraid. And they say, I don't want to do anything because imagine if Ayn, imagine if this. Sometimes you know what's crazy? They say, I'm not making money. This is not happening in my business. Because of Ayn, because of Vijin, because of Sihar.
Yeah. And you got to get rid of those excuses. You got to do your athkaar, put your Tawakkul al Allah, put your firm faith in Allah from the Sunnah. Learn how to protect yourself and then move forward.
How could they overcome it if they're overthinking it? I speak with a lot of people who are saying, I don't want to do this business. People will give me evil eye. I don't want to speak about what I achieved to motivate others because they'll give me evil eye. How could they increase their trust, the tawakkul in Allah, so that they could feel comfortable doing it?
When you say things like that, it shows a weakness in your tawakkul, in your reliance upon Allah. Do you think the ayn is stronger than Allah? No. Do you think jinn are more powerful than Allah? No. Do you think magic is more overpowering from Allah? Never. So know that Allah is qadar on all of that. Allah is, is capable, he is more powerful. He is overpowering his qahar. That is Allah. So when you know that, make your athkar and then move forward. Never let that hold you back. You know, like, if I'm going to go into battle, I'm not going to go unarmed. I'm not going to go and take a stick and be like, yo, let's go. No, but when I get my armor, whatever I can come up with, even if it's not adequate, I'm going to get it and I'm going to tawakkula and I'm going to go forward. I'm not going to not go to the battle because I'm afraid of it. That's what people are doing when they say, I don't want to do business, I might get ayn. I don't want to help people, I might get ayn. That means they're not going into the battle and they're afraid and they think Allah cannot protect them. Never. Allah is more powerful. Allah is the one that we rely upon. So you make your adhkar. That is your fortification. That is your armor. That is your weapon. The dua is the weapon of the believer, right? So you make your dua, your adiya, your different duas, your adhkar, your remembrances, right? Then you move forward. You go forward. You don't worry about ayn, you don't worry about jinn, you don't worry about suhr, because you know that Allah is more powerful than all of that. So we got the three qul at night next. And this is a beautiful, beautiful hadith, okay? Abu Har radiallahu Anhu was told by the Prophet their authentic hadith by the way, to be on guard for the Baitul Mal, the money of the believers that's collected, you know, from Gharaim. And this. And this. A man came at night and told him, look, I'm really poor. And he was stealing. And Abu Radian got him stealing. So he told him, I'm very poor, I'm needy. This, this, this. So Abu, having a soft heart, he told him, go. He let him go. Now, from the miracles to the mu' jizat and nabi alayhisatu salaam is the next morning when Abay Radian went, before he even gave the news and nobody saw this, the Prophet told him, abu Hura, what happened to your prisoner last night? So he was first surprised that how did the Prophet know this is Allah from Wahi giving this knowledge to the Prophet. The Prophet, when he told him this, a brother told him that he was poor, he was in need. So I let him go. So the Prophet said, he is a liar and he will come back tonight.
So what happened the next day?
So again the next night, same guy comes, he's stealing. A brother catches him. But the man again says, I have family, I have children, I'm poor, I'm in need. Abu Radiyana, soft in his heart, lets him go. The next day the Prophet tells him, what happened to your prisoner last night? So again he says, o mai salvah, he was poor. The Prophet told him, no, he's lying and he will come back tonight. Third night he came. Abu Radar saw him stealing, grabbed him, caught him, said, I'm not going to let you go tonight. You're stealing from the believer's money. You're trying to harm the Ummah, right? So the man said, okay, look, if you let me go, I'll teach you something. Now, the Sahaba loved knowledge. They were thirsty for knowledge. So he told him, what will you teach me? He said, if before going to sleep you say Ayatul Kursi, you know, from Surat al Baqar, Ayatul Kursi, everybody knows, right? If you say this, Allah will put an angel to protect you till the Fajr.
But who was that person? How did he know about.
So the next day, Abu Hur, when he went to the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And Rasulullah told him, what happened to your prison last night? Abu Alan said, look, he said he would teach me something, and this is what he taught me. The Prophet said to him that that man has told you the truth, even though he's a liar. And he told him, do you know who your companion was these three nights? Abu Rahtan said no. He said this was Iblees Subhanallah. That was Shaytan himself, Shaitan himself. The Shaytan who gave him the advice. Yes. Iblees has knowledge. Iblees used to be at a higher rank than angels. Iblees knows he is not like he denies Allah, but he just has Hasad that has destroyed him.
So what was the advice he gave him again?
Read Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep.
And what would happen if you do it?
And Allah will assign an angel to protect you till the morning. So that is another one of the Sunnah Adhkar to read Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep. Now there are the adhkar after every salah, the adhkar of the morning, adhkar of the evening. But these couple that we've just mentioned, every Muslim should bring into their life. And know this, that when you are doing your best, nobody does 100% when you're doing your best on your adhkar, you must have a tawakkul, a reliance and a yaqeen and a firm belief that Allah will protect me. If your belief in your dua is weak, your dua will not be strong.
Okay?
You need to have that strong belief
that Allah will protect you, that he's stronger than evil.
And I'll tell you this, when you develop that belief, you can do miraculous things. The Sahaba, when they were going for qadisiya, the battle in Iraq, Sa'dim Al Baqasar was emir of the army. Tariq is a witness. They took their horses and their camels and their foot. They walked over water. Miracles that were given to prophets. Sahaba did yah because they knew that their dua had that power. They had the Tawakkul. Today we can't because we're doubtful. We have to have firmness in our aqeedah, in our iman, in our yaqeen, on Allah Subhanahu wa ta'.
Ala.
So when you say, look, I know Allah can protect me, I've made my Adhkar. I'm not worried about Ayn. I'm not worried about Jinn. I'm not worried about Hasad because I'm doing things the right way. Khalas move forward.
Very good. Baraklawfiq. So now first one you mentioned is to protect others.
Yes.
So I will see you, Shaykh. Oh, you have a great tube.
Wow.
Allahu Mabaraka. Now I'm protecting you. That's the first one.
Yes.
Now let's say the second one. I didn't say anything. And you want to protect yourself. What do you say?
First thing is I would tell you say barakallah, Barak Allah, you know. So the first thing is I would get you to say Barak Allah.
Okay.
Then on top of that I would say when I see something of mine that I like, like, let's say I wear this tobe and I'm like, man, I like this tobe. I will say mashaallah la kuwata illa bila.
Okay, so my business is doing good. Mashaallah.
Because what are you saying? You're saying it's not because of me. I'm not all that smart. I'm not so business savvy. It's not because I work so hard. It is what Allah subhanahu wa ta' ala wills. And there is no power except with Allah. Very great.
So that now I protected you from my evil eye by saying. Also you protect yourself by saying
yes.
Great. Now let's say you want to overall just protect yourself from evil eye. It's not transactional when you're speaking with people. It's overall maybe a guy you don't know in the street. You can't stop everyone, Tabarak, Allah, etc. How would you overall protect yourself?
So you make your adhkar, right? Like the ones we mentioned with the hand at night, when you get up in the morning, learn the Adhkar of the morning that there's so many say those Adhkar of the night, Adhkar. After the Salah, just every dhikr that you can implement into your life. Bring it.
Great. Now let's give them action steps. So now we give them the first two. Protecting yourself, protecting others, asking others. You mentioned at night. So you open your hands and you recite, oh, you spat three times, 30 times. And then you say
these three QULs. And then you wipe your entire body overall, not private something, but overall all the way. And you do this three times.
Amazing. And from that you have trust in Tawakkul that Allah will protect you from evil eye. And then you go forward and you
say Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep. Yes. And then again this is just a summary because there's a lot more. Like Atul Kursi after every salah, right? That's kar after every salah, you know, saying the reading the quls either, you know, once or ten times and so on in the morning and evening. After Fajr and Asar and these morning and evening times and so on. That's why I'm saying buy one of these little books or download it online and just read it and try to implement. Now, I do want to talk about things you shouldn't do.
Okay.
To protect from Ayn.
Okay, let's go.
This is gonna be a really fun part of it. Please don't put that weird blue eye that people put in their houses. This is shirk. Shirk.
Do you know I had an example. Sorry to cut you off. I was traveling and I rented the Airbnb because I was with friends in a house and I was like this a bit too much. I want privacy. Let me get my own Airbnb. I go in there, I walk into the house. My whole body gets tense.
Subhanallah, what's happening?
What's going on? Allah must stand up. I get into the house. I start walking around. I feel very weird. One door is locked. I'm like, this is weird. I walk into my room and I start. And I look over the. There was a little. And I feel it. I feel very weird. I feel tense.
I'm like. I got goosebumps from that right now.
I speak to my friend. I was with one of my friends. I'm saying, echi, I'm not a difficult guy. I would sleep on the floor. This apartment, I feel so weird about it. It was two minutes into it. I go into my room. It was actually in the corridor. I see over the desk, there's that blue eye thing. And I'm saying, echi, what is this? This place is a madness. An hour after I checked out, the minute I left the building, the tenseness went away. I was like, subhanallah, I'm never going over there again. I would sleep in your house. I would sleep with no privacy. I don't care. But I don't stay over there.
You know, we're dropping a podcast on the One Message foundation channel and we call the D3 podcast, which you're going to be Inshaallah. Guest on D3 is Deen Dawadunya. And we did a recording with Sheikh Ammar Shaheen, who was an expert on this issue of sehr. And we break down all of this, where that blue eye came from and where the history, pre Islamic history of it and how it's used by magicians.
Subhanallah. That's probably why I felt so weird. Honestly, I never felt that way in my life.
These things are used by magician. You think you're gonna protect Yourself with it. They're doing magic on you with it. And this is shirk. This is not just bid' aaan things. If you think that this blue rock can protect where Allah's protection is there instead because this blue eye that's put up, I don't know, people like Europeans, why blue eye, right? The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam never showed us this. The Sahaba never showed us this. The Ambiya before, It's not in the Quran. It's not in the other Qutub.
They gave us solutions to protect ourselves. We just mentioned them.
Exactly.
Before sleeping.
I mean, Barak Allah, all of the things, these are solutions from the Quran and Hadith Masha Allah in the Quran itself. Right. Why would you go to something that magicians and pagans and idol worshippers used and leave the Quran, leave the Sunnah and you think this will protect you over Allah Na'. Udubillah. What you shouldn't do, part two. Okay, right. Is go to a shaykh who writes you a taweed, an amulet, you know.
Oh, the dependence dependent.
Yes. Because the vast majority that I have seen, it's not that they just write Quran, right? Which you could say, okay, is that established in the Sunnah or not? Is it a Bidah? But they have magical spells written in them. And we have shown examples in that podcast that we're launching. We brought examples that were taken off of people where people said, I got this to protect myself. But on the opposite, it has destroyed my life. My family life got ruined, my business got ruined. When you open it and we open it on the show, you will see the magic spells written in it. You will see the names of Allah written backwards. You will see Ayat written wrong. You will see the names of jinn written in it. So do not go to these sood sayers that write themselves off as Shiyukh to put spells on yourself. You know, they even make a soap. They make a soap.
This is crazy.
And this soap can kill you. The brother who bought this soap for a lot of money from India and after his family started taking showers because thought he was going to protect them. Like seven members of his family died, Many others got sick. Many of them lost their business. So when he went to the Shaykh, the shaykh showed him that in one of the early books, and I don't want to mention the name, it's a book of magic. But it's well known among students of knowledge and us who study how to prevent from these things. We've seen this Book, right? This book that is almost a thousand years old of magic actually spells this out. And now today, under the name of Shiyukh, you see people selling it nowadays. Do not go to fortune tellers. You know, those people that read your palm and tell you this is shirk. You know, if you go to a fortune teller sahih hadith, if you believe in them, this is Kufr. If you go just for entertainment, you don't even believe in them. 40 days, your Salah is not accepted.
And you still have to pray.
And you still have to pray Subhanallah. So do not go to these things of bida and shirk for protection. Instead, go back to the Quran as we mentioned, Masha, Allah, billah. Go back to us in sahih, hadith, Barak, Allah, Allah, Mubarak, laka, so on. You know, go back to the Adhkar that are mentioned in the Sunnah. And once you do that on the Sunnah, do not hold back your life because you're afraid of Ayn.
Can anything affect you? If you do all of these and you have tawakul in Allah that he will protect you, can anything affect you?
Nothing can affect you except by the will of Allah.
And that's what Allah.
These are the means to that. Allah has given you to protect yourself. So once you do that, you move forward.
So if you do all these and you have tawakul in Allah, whatever you want to achieve, go for it. And if something happens, that means Allah
wills it, no problem. Life is gonna have ups and downs, you know, if happens, it was written for you anyway.
And there's a khair in there.
There's a khair in it. Yeah. Sometimes people think, oh, this is from Ayn, this is from Hasad. Maybe it's just what was written for you, right? But you can never hold yourself back. Afraid of Ayn, afraid of Sehr, afraid of Jinn, the Sahaba Radian whom conquered the world. They brought down the Persians and the Romans. The crowns of the kings of Persia and the treasures of Rome were in their feet in Medina. They were kicking it. Their kids were kicking it. They didn't say, oh, no, we don't want to take on the Persians. I don't want to get. We don't want to take down the Roman Empire. I don't want to get Hasid. No. Aim high. Learn the Quran, learn the Sunnah, do your Adhkar. Move forward. I feel hyped now.
Yeah, let's go take over the world. Let's go, Barak. Allahu Fikum. Make your Adhkar have Tawakul in Allah. That he is the one and the only one who can protect you. Nothing in this world can protect you except from Allah. And if you do your Aatkar and you have Tawakul, nothing will affect you except for what Allah willed for you. And there's always a head. And there that being said, Barak Lafikum. And we'll see you in the next episode.
Inshallah, Samarika.
