Why Does My Child Behave Better When He's With His Speech Therapist?

There's a reason why when your child goes to a therapy center, I hope they're more well behaved over there. Right. And the reason why is because the therapist's relationship with the kid, and I see this many times, the reason why parents bring their children to me is that when they come to my room, they can sit nicely, they can listen, they can do work, they can talk. But then back at home, everything's all back to normal. So what you got to do is to bring the mindset that you and your child, there's a relationship going on, there's a give and there's a take. Obviously, we give as much as we can, and we try not to let him take so much from us, from our authority, so to speak. And we're not saying to be, like, super strict.
