In this YouTube segment, Alan Solarsh and a co‑speaker dissect a gold price chart, highlighting that the market is currently in a bearish phase. They identify a recent demand zone activated by a fair‑value gap, explain how two candles opened below the ATMA, and project that price may test the 200‑day moving average before potentially finding support at another demand zone. The discussion shifts to a notable disparity between physical gold prices and futures/CFD pricing, referencing COT data that shows institutions are net long despite the bearish price action. They note the strengthening US Dollar Index (Dixie) as a key driver that could push gold lower if the 100‑day moving average resistance is broken, leading to further declines toward the 200‑day average. Throughout, they promote their TradingView analysis, website, and Discord community for viewers seeking institutional‑style trading education.

Alan, Here, let's look at the charts.
As you can see here, the price.
Has dropped and the price is sitting now in this demand zone over here. We know that this is a demand zone because it was activated in this area over there. There's that fair value gap we know currently that we've got. These were the two candles that opened below the atma, that one and this one. What we know from that is that the price is south. We're in a bear market and the bears are in control. I think that the price is probably going to go down to the 200 moving average over there, maybe hold and maybe this demand zone over there will hold. If it doesn't then we'll go down to the next demand zone.
It's a little bit weird because there's a disparity between paper assets and the futures market. Just have to wait and see what the institutions do. Currently we south, I don't take short positions because COT data is long, the institutions are long and there is huge demand for gold and there is that disparity in price between physical and CFDs. The price should actually go north. Let's look at TradingView and see what's happening with the Dixie because that plays quite an important role. You can see here that the Dixie is gaining strength.
I did tell you guys a couple.
Of days ago that the price had.
Dropped and tapped into this demand zone.
Which was from 2022.
If we shrink the chart we can just change this to a, a weak chart and see exactly where that demand zone started. And, and you can see here that it tapped into this demand zone over.
Here which is 2022 over there.
There's a demand for the dollar. We've bounced off this demand zone and now we'll have to wait and see what the institutions are doing. We can say that this is resistance over here. This is the 100 moving average. It's one of the key resistance levels.
If we break it then we're definitely.
Going to, to the 200 moving average and then gold will fall even further because the dollar is gaining strength.
