How To Connect to The VPS on Windows | The Best Forex EA Bot

Alan Solosh here, the passive income guru, in this video tutorial explains to you how to log on to the VPS server using a Windows machine. Right? So the first thing you need to do is you need to click on the Start button and then in the search area over here you can right there. Remote Desktop Connection. Click on the Remote Desktop Connection, this first entry that comes up on the top of the stock menu. So please pause the video. Please don't do that. Now, once done, you can come back to this video and resume the video. I sent you an email with the VPS details. So just go to your email and go find those details now. So please pause the video, go and get those details now. Once you've got those details, come back to this video and resume the video. Now that you've got those details, you can just copy and paste the details. So where it says, computer, copy the IP address, okay, so please pause the video, please copy the IP address. Now paste it into that field and once done, you can come back to this video and resume the video, right? So just click on the Connect button and you'll be asked to connect to the, to the vps. The username is. It is. In my case it's called User. I don't know what yours is. You must just go and copy that. And then just click on the Connect button and then it will ask you for the password. And we'll just put in the password over there. So just go and get your password. So please pause the video. Please go and get your password. Copy your password and paste it into the field provided. Once done, you can come back to this video and resume the video. Now it may ask you for security settings to view the certificate. You can view the certificate. You can trust the certificate. Just see where to do that. Install certificate.

Go. And so just do that. And then where it says don't ask me for the. Don't ask me again for connections to this computer, just click yes. Then you should be automatically installed and ready to operate. Your VPS server will open on your computer and you'll have access to the MT4.

That is installed on the VPS.

Right? Very simple. That's how you connect to the VPS. So as you can see now, this is the MT4, the program that we're going to be using to trade with. Okay, so you actually logged onto another Windows machine located overseas. So what we're going to do is we're going to, we're going to change the size of this window. So if you can just minimize this window A little bit. Because you need to get to a setting.

At the bottom, in the bottom right hand corner of the MT4.

So you can just resize it. And then there you go at the bottom there, you can see that there is a connection. So what I'm going to do is I'm actually going to log out right now that we've resized the MT4 Trader. What we want to do is we want to connect to the. Connected the. The MT4 trader to our FPS account that we created. So what you want to do is you want to click on the no connection and you want to say log in. A new window will appear over here and you will enter the username and the password that you got from. From FPS. Now if you've misplaced that information, what you can do is you can log into your.

Can log into your FPS account, okay. To get that information if you didn't save it, okay, you should have got an email with the, with the username, but let's log into FPS. So please pause the video if you need to. You can please pause the video, log into your FPS account and you can get your, you can get your credentials from, from, from there, right? So what we want to do is we want to copy our account number. So just copy that and then just go to a clipboard and. And you can just paste the FPS username. And then also you want to open up your account. So just click on the account number and then you'll get to the next screen. At the bottom of the screen you'll see it says change password and want to say generate new password. So go ahead and do that if you haven't already got it. So please pause the video, go and generate a new password. Once you've got a password, you can come back to this video and resume the video. So there you go. You need to actually save these, these details. Let's just copy this whole thing over here. And it is. There's the server. The, you need the server as well. So let's delete that and let's paste that in there. Okay, so now we've got the credentials for our FPS account. So please pause the video, go and get your FPS credentials, paste them in a Word document, or save them in a safe place so that you've got them. So don't forget them again. And then you can come back to this video and resume the video. Right now that you've got your credentials, go onto your VPS server. So you can just click over here in the bottom right hand corner and it says they log in. So you're going to click on the login button, a new window is going to appear and you're going to go and find sorry for your FPS account that you went and got from FPS. So you're going to copy those credentials, you're going to paste them into the vps, into the login details and you're going to choose a server. Our server is server three. So let's check it out. FPS real Server three. And then we're going to say login. So please pause the video. Go and do that. Now go and do those steps. Once done, you can come back to this video and resume the video. So as you can see in the bottom right hand corner, it now has connection. You can see that bytes are being sent from MT4 onto back to FPS. So we've now connected the MT4 platform to your FPS account, your FPS Forex account, which is awesome. So that's how you connect your your FPS account to MT4 and the VPS.
