Alan Solarsh walks through refreshing the Experts folder in MT4 to load an updated Expert Advisor. Right-click Expert Advisors and hit Refresh, then double-click the EA on your chart to swap in the new version. Versions may jump from v14 to v15 or later.
Right, this is how you refresh your Experts folder. So log into your VPN now. So please pause the video. Please log into your VPN now. Once done, you can come back to this video and resume the video. So over here you just right click on Expert Advisors and you click on Refresh. So please pause the video. Please go and do that now and once done come back to this video and resume the video. Now your new Expert Advisors will be loaded here, but the new Expert Advisor needs to be put onto the chart. So as you can see that over here I've got Gold Hedge v.13 and the new, the new one that I've just loaded is Gold Hedge V14. So you'd need to double click on this EA to remove this EA and load the new ea. So I'm going to do that now. So where it says yes, you can just click on yes. Then I'm going to go to the Inputs folder and I'm going to press load and I'm going to load my new preset that I saved and then I'm going to click on ok, so and then at the top, in the top right hand corner it says there gold hedge V14, which matches this Gold Hedge over here. So please go and do those steps. Now the version.
