Now I have seen on a couple of occasions that even though auto trading was off, the bot still entered some trades. So if you are in a position that you need your bot to be switched off and you can't take any chances, just go and click on the close MT4 icon over here. Take your mouse and mouse over the FPS icon to make sure that there are no that your the screen is actually closed. Then you know that the bot is.
Off 100% and trades are not going to be executed. Okay, so that's how you switch off your robot 100%.
So now to resume the robot, what you need to do is you need to double click on the FPS icon and then FPS will then open up and make sure that the auto trading is green and that you have a smiley face. That way you know that the robot is now turned back on and it is now safe to trade and you.
