Alec Riffle covers position sizing, stop placement, and exit strategies for day trading. Hard stops should be the low of day or 1% account drawdown, whichever is tighter. The 30 EMA acts as a trailing stop on the 5-minute chart, and MACD divergences signal high-probability setups across stocks like Palantir, SPOT, and NVDA.

Set of women in white clothes. It was already 3 o' clock in the morning and the last bus had just left. Why was she sitting there so late at night? The man couldn't figure out the reason so he prepared to turn leave. Sam. Sa. Song about the music. We used to listen to music. We used to love music. I remember when we used to love music. What happened to the music? Sam. Sa. Sam. What happened to the music? Sa. Sactuary. It was so cool. It was funky. Ra. Sa. It was good times. It was soulful. It was funny. What happened to the music? What up, Dr. Luca? What's going on, bro? Can you hear me okay? What a terrible event. Must have booted me out. I tried to have Discord open in a web browser and in the iOS app. Didn't work. But I assume you can hear me. Well, Mic check. All right, sweet. So I'm. I'm recording with obs for the first time. I could mess it up. So I don't know if somebody wants to redundantly record just in the event that I. That I do mess it up. I think. I think we should. Should be good. Looks all good on my end, but. All right, sweet. So give it a couple more minutes. We'll give it to, like 7, 7:40, see if anybody else piles in. What up, abomination? Sweet. Well, good. Hopefully I get it right. Doesn't seem too complicated. I think I'm doing it right. Let's see. I'll. I'll pull it up. I'm recording. I see that my mic is receiving. I. I don't know. I. I have a mic. I just don't have it at the house. I would stream too, so you guys could see my ugly mug. But the camera. I don't know if you've seen my, like, computer setup, but I'm surrounded by monitors, and I have this one. Like, I have a. A Mac studio, and that's the only. Only camera that I have. And it's, like, off to the side, so you'd be, like, staring at, like, the side of my face, and it's just kind of weird. So I opted out from sharing my screen. I know you used to stream Zen. Really? It's pretty dope. All right, cool. So I think I'm doing this right. All right, I'm gonna go use the bathroom real quick, and then we will get this rocking. Connor, did you get Spot? You told me you were gonna ditch Apple and get Spotify, But it's supposed to be, like, light, flame, fluffy, and a little bit crispy on the Outside, it's literally a Vietnamese arena. And thin like a little bit. All right, sweet. So let's do this. I want to, I kind of want to start with 30 EMA magic stuff and kind of explain why it exists. What's the premise? So as many of you know, I started as a day trader. The origin story is hilarious. I can tell it really quick. Actually, I'm not, I don't really care. I'm not gonna do it unless you guys want to hear it. But I started day trading and I, this is like right when Tick Tock came out. And me being like a 30 year old on Tick Tock found this dude named Cam the Man. And he is, he's the man. He, he ran like this. I don't know. It's, it's still, the, the Discord server is still up today. There's a zillion people in it. It's a zoo. That's where I met Ariel. Dainty Louie was in there back in the day. Graduate trader. Probably a bunch of you were in here. And I, I, I don't even know about it, but yeah, anyways, Cam the Man was like putting up stupid numbers day trading. And I was always under the impression that like, people who traded based off technical chart patterns were just kind of like idiots really. Like, I didn't think that there was any merit to it or consistency. I even recall myself once saying that it was just literally guesswork. And I saw this dude like start making like right in front of us, millions and millions of dollars. I mean, you took $1,000 to like 36 mil or something like that, live in front of everybody over the course of a couple of years trading low flow pump and dumps intraday and overnight. He's a beast. I learned a lot, a lot of my day trading techniques there. Now he's had his life. He's, you know, I mean, he's had some really, really rough patches because that's what day trading will do to you overall. And it's not very scalable. You know where he is now? If I had to guess? Yeah, I mean, it's probably nowhere near where, where I am, so. And he just hasn't scaled. And there's a few, there's a few. Jordan the Educator is a few. Mod a mod there. And he's one of Cam's best friends and he's kind of venturing into, into swing trading a bit. But still though, I, I quickly saw that there was a real scalability issue with, with day trading. And I looked at the people it was just really obvious for me. I mean I didn't really have to think about it much at all. It was as simple as can I make billions of dollars doing this? And like the immediate answer in my head was no. And then I quickly confirmed it. I use support from just the marketplace and news and the Internet. Warren Buffett doesn't day trade. Right. All those things led me to, to come to that conclusion really, really quickly. And I met Ariel somewhere in some chat group. Ariel's came the man's. Yeah. And we just, we just hit it off and he introduced me to Kwala Maggie, probably late 2021, maybe like Q4. And of course me, I just rabbit holed into it. I, I really didn't look at anybody else except for Cam the man Matt as. And then, and then Kwame and I saw that he had immediately had a treasure trove of like unlimited content. I mean that's literally all the content that you need need to become extremely successful. Trading is his and it's free and it's on YouTube. So I just started watching it every single day. Yes. I've watched every, every single stream from the beginning. So when his, when his live stream would end, I would just turn on old ones and just let it go through just all day long. And there's many streams I've watched multiple times. I should, I should make like a best, like a greatest stream, kind of like a greatest hits. The earnings season ones are the best. Yeah. So like you could just go back and just watch, just line up earning season dates and watch and watch those watching. The shitty markets are good too. 2022, I mean you didn't really stream much in the shitty markets, but in the beginning he did. But yeah. Anyways, the transition was kind of interesting though because I did day trade and I was relatively successful doing it for about a year. And. I really wanted to like adventure into this idea of swing trading because I could, I saw the like, I listened to what he said, you know, I listened to the infinite scalability kind of the infinite scalability comments, how you scale a scan in proportion to your net liquid. Like it all made sense. It all had the, the elements of scaling there and just kind of just kind of started doing it. But I was like, I was hesitant to hold things overnight. I was, you know, I didn't really, I didn't really have a track record of success. Like everything that he said on stream made perfect sense. I watched him do it, but like I never did it yet myself. Right. Like at the time, you know, we, we top tick our swing trading career. My when I put day trading down to 100% focus on swing trading, it was January 2, 2022. So it's like the New Year's resolution. Ariel did it at the exact same time. So we literally have the exact same start date. And I, my account wasn't that big then. I mean it was seven figures but very low and I needed to really build confidence and it was a terrible market. Right. Like we literally top ticked it. I mean 2022 is all down. So I had to take these short duration trades. So not only do I you know, have kind of this bias and I guess brain wiring to not overnight scalp essentially short duration intraday trades, you know, transitioning to today trading and following his or transitioning to swing trading and following Q's principles, especially with trailing was very, it's very difficult. All right. So that's where kind of this hybrid strategy came from. So the 30 EMA magic strategy essentially allowed me to still scalp small caps and you know, the illiquid runners. But I would use Qualagi's kind of nightly reps to find stocks. To find stocks. I would basically look for daily setups but I would only hold them for a day. And I'm trading the highest ADR names like the craziest ones like AGI was a big one in 2022. AMTD was still my historical, still my biggest percent overnight gapper. I bought it and it was up 500 the next morning. That was when Indo was running and in those stocks. But yeah, I mean it was kind of a way to transition into swing trading. So again, what the 30 EMA magic, the purpose of it is to for me what was to build kind of a Segway system allowing me to ease into a very unfamiliar, uncomfortable environment which was, you know, longer duration trades, it's very uncomfortable and taking smaller size, you know, and I day trade, I take much larger size and a much larger portion of my net worth was at risk essentially at the time. So yeah, I mean it's like a win win sort of approach where I can use, I can use all the swing trading methods, the nightly scan, you know, the simplicity of one one chart, learning, learning earnings plays, really paying attention to the higher time frames more. But I get to execute with my day trading skills. And it was kind of a test to like you know, holding, holding an all day run into afters is really, really, really hard for a day trader. Like it's not easy. And so I did that over and over and over and over and finally the market started to turn and I had a few instances where I was able to start swinging and I tried. I mean I tried to trail the 10 tried. I didn't even have the 5 day SMA on my charts at all. I didn't even know what it was. I didn't know the power of it then like I do now. But yeah, I mean that's, that's kind of why it exists. So how can you use it to your advantage? Actually you know what, maybe some other benefits. I'll just keep rambling on benefits for a sec. You know some other benefits for, for this strategy are, is just the ability to compound a smaller account better. You can take more size because you don't have the intra. You don't have overnight risk. Right. So now with the advent of 24, 5 and you know, double and triple leverage ETFs, you don't have that same sort of get down risk. Right. Like you can get out of a position. You're not locked up. So like now more than ever. 38 magic I believe is probably the most powerful compounding mechanism for a small account for those who have other going on in their life other than trip. Because remember during this time I, you know, I'm running businesses as well. I got a lot of stuff on my plate and that was a whole, I forgot about that. That was a whole nother aspect of why I was so attracted to swing trading. Just due to the time commitment. I would watch Q's streams. This dude would be on stream for like 30 minutes and then he's out, he's done and he's making tens of millions, hundreds of millions of dollars. It's like, it's like no brainer. Right? Well I see like the guys day trading just sitting there clicking like the baboon all day long making pennies. Yeah. Not, not a life for me. And plus I didn't have the time for it. So that's a really great perk too. Swing trading but also 30 EMA magic. I wish Jack was on here right now. I'm gonna add him, see if I can get him on here because he needs to listen to this. How do I do it? Jack's the day trader extraordinaire. That's why he joined join day trader rehab because he kind of realized the same things. He's done amazing day trading. I mean he's done really, really well but he realizes that there's scalability issues. That's kind of why Kyle's here too. I mean two very Successful day traders, but they're trying to figure out how can they transition. And the longer you've done day trading, the harder it will be to make that transition, which makes the 38 magic all, all the better. All right, I'm going to send them a message quick. All right, cool. How do I get back to the stage? All right, there we are. Sweet. Okay, cool. So I don't even know how many of you are actually familiar with Qualaggy's day trading techniques. I mean, they're very, very, very simple. What he does is he looks for stocks that are liquid relative to his account. So he looks for stocks that have an average daily dollar volume as a multiple of. Of his net liquid. I like to take it one step further, and I like to look at personal net worth. And I think that accounts, the more I think about this and how to start accounts, you should be starting accounts with as little amount of money as possible because it gives you the latitude to blow up a bunch of times. And I've seen Cam the man take a thousand to 36 million. I've seen, you know, Jack do the same. Ariel took 14,000 to 3 million. You guys saw what I did last year, taking that account to 4 million. You know, like, there's no reason to start with any amount of money that's meaningful, period, End of story. The desire to put more money in is rooted in your desire to make more money. And if you have that mindset going in, it's a recipe for disaster. You need to get the reps in. You need to get enough reps in to make millions, to win. And I think anybody can do it from a thousand, 5,000, 25, whatever. Just don't use a meaningful amount of your net worth. Doesn't matter. Because if you're in this to make the money, you're going to lose the money. If you're not in this. I mean, ultimately we're in it to make the money short, but you're going to get humbled real, real, real quick. It doesn't work very well. You have to love it. You have to love building the system. You have to love retail, reshaping your mindset, doing something consistently. But, yeah, like, you're just not gonna get this thing to make money. So if you haven't watched glam, I encourage you to do so. But, yeah, so he looks for stocks that have liquidity, that match. That's proportional to the, to the, his account value. And then he looks for the highest adr, the average daily range. So that's the High, high minus low divided by low, I think. And that gives you a percentage. And he's basically looking for the fastest stocks that meet his liquidity profile. And he wants to be in those that are in good themes may have good earnings reports or some sort of catalyst, right? So he scans for, you know, the leaders. So he's looking for 30, 60, 90 day leaders. He's looking for stocks that are going up, that have lots of liquidity relative to his account and, and speed. I mean that's really the name of the game. And as your account grows and you have to adjust the volume, the dollar volume amounts in your scans, your pool of your opportunity set gets smaller and smaller and smaller. So Warren Buffett, he has a, he has an opportunity set issue, right? He even said it in Berkshire Hathaway's Q1 earnings report that, you know, size is, is the enemy of progress in his context. And that's where qualamaggie kind of theorized. Well, not theorized, but he came up with the small account edge jargon where he's, you know, obviously cognizant of his followers. People are trying to listen to him and learn they have smaller accounts. His account is much bigger during the latter times of his streaming and he isn't able to trade many of the stocks that, that his pupils are able to and he wish he could. So he's like small account edge. You guys have unlimited opportunity, you know, and it's true, especially now with the advent of these double and triple leverage ETFs. And you know, I think since, since they've all come out this year. I think it does fun, it does change, you know how I think about what's the, what's the optimal way to grow a small account given the context of someone with a busy life using qualimaggy grounded strategies or his methods. And, and I don't know, man, like I don't, I don't think you necessarily need to trade the M bots anymore. I think him X is perfectly fine. In fact, it has more, more range than, than the mbot. Right. So just kind of rambling on more about the, the 30 EMA magic and the, the origin of it. You know, if anybody has any questions, you can fire them off at any time. If anybody wants to hop on stage, you can hop on stage and ask me questions. I wish I had more time to prepare better because I would have more charts to show you, but we can talk about execution. I don't really have a good sense of how many people actually understand you Know, qualimaggy's workflow, which is basically how I. I mean, I think. I think my workflow is pretty identical to it. It's probably a little more refined. I'm actually more systematic than he is. But. But, yeah, let's see. All right, cool. Yeah. Thanks, mother, though. Yeah. I mean, if somebody wants to steer the conversation. Fine. All right. Yeah, let's do it. All right. Can you walk through a 30 EMA magic trade from entry to exit? Sure. Let's think about it. Throw out a couple of stocks, small caps that have ran really hard in the last week that had a legitimate daily setup. So just start rattling, rattling charts off in the chat, and I'll pull them up and I'll let you know if I see one, and then we'll go through it. All right, Eeba. Okay. Beautiful. It sucks because this is like progression 2 for small account edge because this is one that you actually, like, want to hold. I mean, it's beautiful. It's going in earnings. But this one's pretty good, though. Yeah, CEP is probably another good one. Yeah, as. Whatever. As ast. That one's probably a good one, too. Okay, cool. Yeah, let's. Let's use this one. So I'm just going to assume that we all know what a solid daily chart looks like. Quali explains it very succinctly. For scan or for any. For any stock to enter his universe, it at minimum has to meet his ADR and dollar volume requirements set in his scan relative to his account. And then what he does is he caps the scan results to about 50. I've seen him do it up to 100. And it's filtered by the stocks with the highest ADR. So the scan may. May produce if you don't cap it a couple hundred names, who knows? But he caps is because he only wants to look at the leading stocks that are the most liquid and fastest. So let's just assume that this stock was in our scan. Okay. So our scan produced it the night before. So we are looking at it, and it's looking like. Like this. So his kind of mantra is big move up. And he defines big move up by 30% or greater in his later. In his later scan or I mean, when his accounts bigger. This is definitely a big move up. In 17 days, this stock went 180%, which is incredible. I mean, that is serious momentum. Very linear. He looks for big, linear moves. What I mean by linear is it's not choppy. It's just going up. Every candle's green there's not a lot of wicks, they're all solid bars. So that's step one, big move up. Step two is pullback. There's your big move up. Step two is a pullback. So the stock is pulling back again. You want to see, he wants to see and I want to see as linear of a pullback as possible. Orderly, not choppy. It's pulling back within a tight range. So this is like this little flag that it's making. It's very respective of trend lines and lows. Same thing going up. Look at it just following the 5 SMA all the way up. Beautiful. Very, very clean. It undercuts, it reclaims, it undercuts again, it reclaim, it gets tight and then it surfs. So it's putting in higher lows along the way too. So we want a big move up pullback and undercut. We want to see surfing reclaim and then for it to get tight. So based on Qualimaggy's principles this is a, he would call this a six star. He would call this the highest rated chart that there could be. I mean it's absolutely perfect. So now that we've established that it's absolutely perfect based on Qualaggi's just very simple, you know, few step process for identifying strong stocks. Big move up, pullback, undercut, surf, reclaim, get tight, expand. It's on our watch list. So okay, we've identified this stock as being actionable. So when a stock is action I only, I have two manual watch lists. I have one that's act for actionable names and then I have another for ones that aren't quite actionable. But I don't want to lose sight of that list. I call the needs more sideways list. I named it that because Kualamagi literally would say needs more sideways to like 90% of the charts that people, you know, asked them to look at in chat. So I was like, yeah, okay, these need more sideways. So that's why I created that, I named it that way and then I just have a focus list. So I mean there's times, there's sessions where I don't even, I mean I always try to go through my scan but my needs more sideways list is packed with so much opportunity that I don't really need to, I don't really need to use my scan, you know, as I guess I don't have to lean on it as much when I do the work ahead of time. Like right now my needsomer sideways list is packed all the names that I could possibly Want and that I've been watching over the last six months are on it. But the reason why we scan though is because new leaders and new opportunities can emerge. And I think it's really important to. To never skip scanning. Do it every day. You guys will see me do it every single day. It could be, you know, midnight, could be 2 in the morning. I'm going to get it done one way or another. I never skip it. I love it. I always look forward to it. But yeah, you should never, ever, ever skip it. I have. It sucks in toss. You cannot delete, bulk delete watch lists. So I have just like years of daily watch lists. It is annoying as I wish I could bulk get rid of them. But again, all right, so this is on our watch list. It's actionable. So what I do is when it's actionable, I draw the level where I'm going to buy it. It's debatable, but we can just say it's over this high. So the very specific way I do it is I define the level where I want to buy. I always try to look for. For an even number and then the highest volume level, the logical level. So like this candle right here. Price needs to get over this candle for a meaningful breakout to exist. I could buy it over this high, this tight high, which I probably would have too. But you still have kind of this overhead little wick. I'm not too worried about it in this particular instance just because of how clean the chart is, but I think that the sound purchase level is above the range high. This would. I would consider this as like a cheat this 55 day. And then I would consider like down here like a low cheat like this five one you're buying at the bottom of the range, which isn't really super ideal. Just wait for the breakout. Especially in hot markets. Just wait for the breakout. You don't want to tie your money up sitting in a range. All right, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to draw a line across where I want to buy it. So hover over the candle I see at the high says 812. So I'm going to place a line there. I'm going to go into edit properties. I'm going to change it to green. You see a green line on my chart, that's a trigger. If you see a red, that's a short line, that means short it. And then I'm going to set an alert. I'm going to set it below just so it doesn't trigger. But I set an alert. Oftentimes I will also say, say I knew something about this company and I, you know, had some conviction. I would say buy, you know, 20% position. Okay. So now that's added to my watch list. I got one name. It's actionable if over that line. So now let's look at the intraday chart. How many days ago was it? 6. I know I got a longer one in here somewhere. Five day, 15 minute. So I think, I think somebody tell me the data broke out. I think it was five. Five. No. What date did it break out? I'm gonna pull up another chart so I can see it. I want to say it's this day. What is that? That's five. Six. All right. Yeah. Five, six. All right. Okie doke. All right, Perfect. So quite literally though, this is very similar to my screen will look. I'll have tape up and active trader. And so I'm sitting there, I'm flipping through my watch list of actionable charts. Let's just assume that I only had a single actionable chart in my watch list for the more. This would be the only chart that I really look at. I have my needs more sideways list up for me. I really try not to look through it much because I want to be hyper focused on the best stocks according to my chart pattern requirements where I actually set actionable triggers for now, there's things that go all the time that I don't have actionable triggers for that I trade. But my focus is to narrow it down to just executing these names, trying to keep myself in the best ones possible. So I'm staring at this thing. Maybe I'm like, I don't know, getting like some coffee from the kitchen. I hear it ding. Okay. The alert goes off. All I do is just buy it. I just buy it. I put the 20% position in, I buy it and I put stop at low a day or some logical level like so if there's. Let's see what we got. You're probably not gonna see it now just because the chart ran away. But there could have been like some other level around at the time, but I doubt it. Yeah. And anyways, as soon as it goes through your line. This one's cool though, because it went straight through it. Essentially you got a little bit of a pullback. These two five minute candles. But then it just took off and it never looked back. And that's it. So the difference though between Qualagi and me in the 30ema magic is 30ema magic would have required you to sell the same day. So your entry would have been. Let's just say we bought it right through the line. God damn it. All right. We bought it right through the line. You're selling here. You would have had to have some foresight that it's illiquid in after hours for the real liquid small cap micro float runners. There's a ton of liquidity in the app in after hours. So I try to trail the 3010 or the 550 all the way till close just to try to get as much juice as possible out of the move. But in this particular instance, since there's really no liquidity in after hours, you're closing at the end of day. Or if the first 5 minute candle closes below the 50 EMA on the 5 minute chart. Or you could be OG and wait for a 30 minute candle to close under the 3010 chart. Why did I choose this? I studied countless. I studied every 20, 21 runner, all the small cap runners, and they just obeyed the 550, which is the same as the 3010. Just going to refer to it as the 550 moving forward. I called it the 3010 originally because I had that realization. But I like the 550 more. One, for trailing moving averages and two, I'm just really accustomed to the five. It's just my. It's just my place. If you can't handle watching the volatility, by all means use trail the 3010 intraday. But I just like. I just like the 550. All right, let's look at another one. Let's look at like a mega intraday runner. Let me see some questions. Or do you look at 24 hour chart candles or just regular trading hours? I look at both. You don't really need the 24 chart, but I like seeing it in names with a lot more liquidity. What was the other one? All right, let's see. Another one that ran that had a daily setup. Okay, I'm gonna scroll up a little bit. QBTS was good. Yeah, qbts. That was a good one. Actually. QBTS is a great one. It was a great one. So you see this right here? What is that? That is my trigger line. Right? And it says mid range cheat because it's literally mid range. And I said buy it. I didn't tell say the percentage, but I said buy it over 821. Okay. So it made my watch list the alert hit. I did buy it. I bought it right over my line. But look what this thing did. I bought it over the line in pre market actually and then I got stopped out and I did not re enter. That's pretty unusual for me. I blame it on sucking just in general, just busy but just. I mean there's really no excuse for it. You know, prime me at the desk. When I would have gotten stopped out, I would have immediately set another alert at the exact same line and bought it through it again with the exact same size. I would have bought it again as it pushed right back through. And then I would have been sitting happy like counters. So we would have sold right here in after hours. So with our 30 EMA magic, I'm taking 20 to 25%. You can go all the way up to 33% now I think is fine, especially with the 20, 24 5s. And if you're playing liquid charts and if you're able to sit there and babysit them, that's, that's a key if you're taking more size. But yeah, I mean so here if I would have rebought, I would have rebought the candle right back through the line. Let's just say my average was even. Say it's higher than it probably would have been. Let's say My average is 8:50. I would have captured in this range about a 20% move on a 20% position. So that puts the money right back into my pocket. I don't have, you know, the overnight gap down risk. I mean we gotta sleep. We can't watch the charts all the time and we're ready for the next setup. So you just keep rolling that over and over and over and over and you'll quickly realize that small account edge is real. The more often you can turn it over, the faster you'll scale your account and you'll eventually hit a liquidity. You'll eventually hit a point where your scans aren't producing enough stocks. And when that happens, you can't afford to sell good opportunities like the last one we looked at or qbts day one. It's just because it's because the setups aren't as prevalent. The small account edge starts going away. For me, seeing people with small accounts actually swinging for many, many, many days without having a good reason for doing so is, is not, is not ideal. Compounding is all about turning it over. Buying and selling, buying and selling, scaling. So if, if the very. If the fundamental. If the basis of the entire. If our, our basis of our entire stock trading program is to scale and account Compound it. We have to buy and sell, right? We just have to. So in the beginning when your account is smaller and you can trade these stocks that make really, really big moves and they're, they're happening all the time, it just makes a lot of sense to not try to sit there and swing them, but capture the gain. Day one. You can also take some of the overnight and we can talk about that later into day two. But you don't want to be holding it much longer. And this is how you scale a small account because you will run into a problem where it's like shit, you know, my dollar volume is now set to 50 million, you know, and there's just not as many charts. I got to hold them longer. So now we've built confidence in identifying quality Maggie based swing trading setups and we've built a confidence entering them and capturing them. Well, we've got a lot of experience trailing moving averages, although intraday, but still though we're trailing moving averages, we're doing all the things that Q does just on a short time frame and we're turning that edge over because our opportunity set is so much greater with a smaller, smaller account. Now that's a whole nother reason why I think it's, it's, it's advantageous to start with the smallest amount possible because if you set your scan the dollar volume requirement relative to the liquidity in your account, your account is really small. You're going to even have more of a small account in, right? Because you just have access to even smaller stocks. And it just gives you more opportunities to practice these, learn the routine and execute and be disciplined. And it is amazing. Like if you just, if you just, you know, did like go to the spreadsheet or whatever and go to the compounding calculator, I think it's compounder two here. I can pull it up like you can just enter a thousand by bucks, add you know, 120% stairs to a thousand bucks, you're rich, right? So again, once you start hitting those liquidity problems, that's when you start trying to hold for, you know, three days, five days, six days, seven days. You know, in super bullish markets where there's just an unlimited amount of setups which we may be entering, like what we had in 2024, even 20, 2023, 2021, it makes no sense to sit in these names for a long period of time because the greatest percent capture usually happens on that initial breakout. And then you just keep rolling it over. Yes, you're Gonna see your friends who held Ionq and made, you know, 500%, that's fine. And they had to hold it for, you know, 30 days or whatever. But in that same period you may have been able to roll over five shoryukens with 20% gains right those five times. And then you have all the other capital doing it in other stocks too and you're getting the reps in. Your friend may be doing well, you know, with developing patience on a daily scale, daily time frame, but it's, it's just really not, it's not the same. And so right now without me really saying it, I'm doing that with the small account. I'm taking larger positions than you know, qualimaggie would or I would with my traditional swing trading account and my, you know, like position trading account. Just because of everything I just said, I want to turn the edge over, I want to compound it. I know what my risk is. I know how to take the entries. My skill set is honed. I know it works. Yeah, I mean I honestly think that the fastest way, like literally the fastest way to 10 million, I'm going to do this all the way to 10 million and you guys will see it like literally I'm essentially taking you know, 25, 50% or more size positions into really great opportunities and I'm going to be catching large intraday moves, gaps, stuff like that. And you're going to see how fast this account grows. Now you guys can do that. So long as your account is less than 5% of your net worth and you're willing to lose it all, that's fine. If you put a hundred bucks in your account and you want to try to speed run it like me, I don't even look at it as speedrunning. I look at it as optimizing against the opportunity set. I just don't think that most inexperienced traders have the skill set to truly optimize the return against their opportunity set relative to the size of their account. TSLL has the highest ADR out of any of the the liquid stocks and it has the highest ADR out of any of the leveraged stocks. MSTU MSTX is like a tick below it. But last week TSS TSLL was running the highest and it's still in a range. It's funny, the very first double up on the last small account was TSLL. It was from 25000 to 50000 and it was full ported into it and it was perfect setup. I can show you that it Was right when it capitulated low and it was on earnings. Oh, that's a nice gap up, huh? There it is. Let's see. So it was right here. Okay, so this was that first buy. I swung it, though, for several days. But I mean, that's just kind of an experience thing. You know, if I had to go back and do it all over and really, really, really win, you know, I would be. I would be using the 30 EMA magic, you know, as best. As best as I can. Just because I know that in theory, in principle, turning over that edge is. Is the best way to do it as. As frequently as you can. Really. I'll look at Nvidia real quick. I'm curious. But yeah, I mean, it's all about relativity to your net worth. So people say, you know, you should never use 20 of your account. You should never use or more than 30% of your account in a trade, or you should never. You should never ever do that. Well, what if Your account is 1% of your net worth? Like, what the. Does it matter at that point, right? Like, what does it even matter? And so it. A lot, like, yeah, it's. And I'm just kind of thinking out loud with you guys, and it's. It's been fun revisiting, you know, know these. These kind of origins and like, how to start. How to start a small account and how to, like, you know, really grow it, but safely and not risk, you know, financially hurting yourself or your family or others. And it's really starting with. With small amounts. And that's why, like, you see, like, now I kind of get it. Why came the man started with a thousand bucks when he had millions at the time. And I think it was just so that he could. Could be, you know, hyper aggressive. You're kind of playing with house money now. It does get interesting, though. It gets really interesting when your small account becomes successful and snowballs and now it becomes. It balloons to a considerable portion of your net worth. And that's where you really have to slow down my hymn. Scalp. I mean, I'm long it right now in this account. I'm not hems. I don't. Did I scalp it? Oh, you know what? I think I did. Do you know what day I scalped at her? I don't even remember. Oh, it must have been this day. The big candlestick day. Five six, right? I think it was five six. This was a perfect shoryukin, by the way. Perfect. What's his name? This guy? I can't read his Name. It's just O. That's your name. Him. Identify yourself. What's your name? You're asking about the Shoryuken today I just refer to you as O. O. It's kind of tight. All right, cool. Finally somebody wants to speak. What up Odot?
Mr. Yeah, I was asking.
Hey Mr. Odot. How's it going?
My name is Odot. It's a risk manager.
Weird. So you'd not. Huh? Okay, well how would you like for me to refer to you as.
Anything Risk manager.
All right. Risk manager. So ashore Yukin is I have a ton of setups just in my brain that we can go over about this. But it's essentially a really big savage volume event up. So just a really big move up. We see them all the time in forgotten about stocks that have a catalyst. Hims is like it. I mean this is it. So. Yep. Shorike Bates. You got it. Su has a bunch of examples. So do the quantum name serve is one of the best of all times. But essentially what it is is it's a savage volume event where you have a really really large volume day and you have a really big move. So from the priors day close to its high and I think it may even been higher in pre market HIMSS is up 34% on big news. Big volume. So that's that initial leg up that Qualimaggie would call the big move up. Me too. So what's kind of different between this stock and the first one we looked at, I think it was Aeva is that it's still trending avaa. You know where we looked at it in the second breakout after the flag. It's. It's in a consolidation phase. So we get this big move up for the Shory again and then it comes down and it comes down and it get. It catches support on usually the 5 day SMA or the 10. I like the 5 day SMA better because for it to touch the 10 it means that it's lost more momentum than if it only had to touch the five. And if you go back and study a bunch of these high momentum, you know, really like supernova movers, they just trail the five day sma. They'll trail it for hundreds of percent. So what I see here is it made a really big move up. It pulls in and then it puts in a single tight pullback day. This is a perfect setup. For sure. You can. The fewer the days the better. I like one day, I like two days, I like three days. It starts becoming A different setup after that third day. But this one's perfect because it's one day, it's one tight pivot day. So it goes up. Everybody's like, we're gonna sell it. It comes down a real tight consolidation day. And then the next day you're watching it and you're buying it over the second day's high. It's. They're the best when they coincide with some sort of left side peak, some sort of other level. So here you have this left side peak of 35. So I've been watching 35 forever. My first buy when I bought this move was through. Well, I bought it before 35, but the big leg was through 35, which was previous all time highs. After the rubber band sell off, it comes down, it wicks off a 35 here. And then I bought it a couple of times, not successfully as it kind of broke back through 35. So 35 has been the key level. It's been the left side peak. And it just so happens to coincide with our short term. Sure, you can set up. So the fact that hims is down 70 of highs or whatever it is. It has this big news event, huge volume back through the key level. Mind you, it undercuts, it puts in a tight day, it finds support and wicks off the five. And you know, I do remember now, I remember this trade much better now that I'm going through it because that wick off the five in the morning washout was tremendous. It was awesome. And that's like I, I kind of nailed the low on it. But before we get into the execution, let's kind of keep talking about the, the Shory again. So we have our 35. So let's say, let's say this is in your playbook, right? You got the. Sure you can. Your playbook. You're watching it, you've identified the key level. It's actionable. I'm gonna put the alert on. I'm just gonna put below so it doesn't trigger. So I got my alert. I'm going to color it green because that means buy the sucker. Okay. It's coming down to the morning. So now let's get into the, the intraday. But the daily setup is this. I wish I could see it better. Let's see, maybe like this. Yeah, there we go. I'm going to get the alert out so we can see. I think if I go to style settings, alerts don't show. All right, sweet. So we've got our line. See, I would have probably Even bought it a little earlier, but I think. I don't know if I even got stopped out initially or not. I had to rebuy it, but it was a perfect washout long. Okay, so it looks like this going into open. So big move up really tight day right off. Right off the moving average. All right, let's get into intraday. So I'm going to need to pull out. I'm just going to resave this button so it gives me more days. See, I don't really need to look back this often on the five minute chart. So I don't have it like saved as a hot button. Where the is it? And they're not like ordered. Higher, higher, higher, higher. Five day. No, I need 15 day. Where is it? I don't care. Why don't I see it? Am I tripping? I am. All right, there it is. Boom. Tight. All right. Co. All right. Now I need to get them moving averages. There we are. Why isn't the my intraday ones showing? Oh, oh. Because I only have it on previous day. Let me extend this. No, it should take it back down. There we go. There we go. All right. There it is. Oh my God. That's beautiful. It's terrifying, but beautiful. Yeah, this one was sick because it didn't fake you out through the line first. So I didn't get stopped out on this. My trigger. I don't even know. I must have been watching it because I bought. I bought the washout long right into the five. But people who don't have that in their playbook would have just bought it back through this green line. And using the 30 EMA magic, you would have just trailed it all the way up and close. Yeah. And so what you can also do with the 30 ma magic is there are instances where I think it's okay to overnight. But you know, I'd really like you to sell 50 of it. It's not so much that, oh, you know, we might, we might, we might like get like an overnight gap down or something like that. It's more so like I want that money back into fresh breakouts.
Is it 30AMA magic on the five minute time frame?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It originated on the 30 minute time frame, actually just trailing the 10. But when I started to use auto trails, it was easier for me to. I didn't. So in some of the like the. The small cap like crazy runners, you can't possibly wait for an entire 30 minute bar to close below the 10 in that time frame. The stock could be down 50% right. Even on some of them, a 5 minute candle is too much time. So I actually have my trails set to execute two minutes below the the levels. So I'm actually running my auto trails using the minute aggregation. But I've trued them up. I've added a multiplication factor to them so that they act as, you know, a five minute close below. It's really a two minute close below the 550 is how I like when I'm like. There's a period a couple of weeks back where were no setups. So, you know, I just kind of screwed around and I played in the the NQ a bit and I would use my trails there. I bought gold the other night. I trailed it. I don't really use the intraday trails much anymore, but if you want to use this strategy and take advantage of the small cap runners, you should definitely use them. Let's look at st. Oh, did I cover all your Shoryuken yet? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Move on. Let's. Do you have any more questions about the Shoryuken setup? I could show you a couple more examples if you'd like.
Yeah, I would love to see a few more. Just to clarify, you like strength, meaning you would prefer the Shoryuken to just pull back to the 5 EMI rather than the 10?
Yeah, yeah. Because the further it goes down, essentially it's showing us less strength. So like, if I were to like, I guess succinctly, you know, like, I guess summarize it in. In a different way or describe the. The plan a different way, you're taking advantage of extreme momentum. And so the more it pulls back, the less extreme the momentum is. Right. So this serve is a. Is a, A beautiful example. This was when, you know, every month or so there was an Nvidia presser about them investing in some, you know, AI startup or something. Right. And serve was one of them. I didn't. I don't think I caught the initial move. I may have, but I definitely caught the Shoryuken. So it was a giant move up on. On. On news, on really relevant news. And a small cap name. It basically goes straight up. Let's see how many percent. I'm always measuring percent too, because that's kind of how I, I warrant I. I look at a stock's chart history a ton what it's done in the past. Just like people, it's. It's more likely to repeat itself, repeat its behavior in the future. So if it has a history of Making big linear moves. It excites me. I want. I want to be in that. This one didn't have any history, but I'm measuring it anyway. So it went up 500. And actually, let's see. The day before the breakup, this was probably even a big move. You just can't even see it. So let's see. Yep, 450. So really big move. Relevant news. Okay. It pulls back sharply. One day you could have bought it here. You would have got stopped out. More than likely. Yes, you would have got stopped out. And then day two back through, I guess, like 960 or whatever. And then you would have caught, you know, 100 move in just a couple of days. They're really high momentum continuation setups. That's what they are. Connor shouted out, SOU is the was. I mean, in my opinion, the greatest momentum stock of the last two years probably last 18 months. So I highly encourage everybody to go back and look at each one of these moves. You can start all the way back here at the beginning of 2022. Each one of these moves, because it's just a gold mine of examples of what. What a momentum stock looks like. And just a ton of setups. I mean, like, the opportunity here is just absolutely insane. So this was the first real big one. It gapped up. I think this may have been the Nvidia news day. This isn't really a Shoryukin at all. This is just like a high type flag. Similar idea, though, ultimately very short consolidation and pullback and then a big move. I definitely played this one, and then I played this. This one. This one was interesting. This was also an entry down here based off of the weekly, if I recall correctly. Yeah. So we had our weekly line here at five. That might even been lower. Oh, damn it. Now five day, one year. Okay. Yeah. Little undercut and rally of that Weekly. Right here. 37 was a. Was a buy that looked like your low cheat, but it went back through that weekly level. It's like what Louie would call a weekly retest. He would have been buying in here, but the safer spot was here. But these, neither of these are shakens. I just call the first one a high type flag. And the second one is, I don't know, whatever you want to call it. Okay, let's look at this run. This run was sick. The hourly setups, you really got to go through it on the hourly. It was insane. Okay. Yep. This is kind of one here. It's more of like a four day, but the pullback wasn't Wasn't very much. It's already up a ton too. It's kind of problematic. You know what Connor? Yep, there's one. This is a decent one but probably doesn't have the best examples of the sh. Oaklo had a good one. Yeah, this is a pretty good one. Big move up pullback one tight day. You bought it and it was back through the. The relevant level. Let me think. I don't have the. The list up. I feel like we went through these last time. Hymns 20, 24. Oh yeah, that was after earnings. I bought that one too. I know exactly where it is. Right here. Yeah, this is a. I think that's it. Yep. Yeah, this is it. Okay. Yeah. So it gapped big. This was. It's a couple days after earnings gap big. It gave four days. This was an example of it coming back to the 10. Still worked good. But it's not like that. Like super explosive crazy, you know, move after like we've seen in some of the other charts. Yeah, Su n was great. Oh yeah, yeah. DXYZ was beautiful. That was a really nice example. They don't happen all the time but for me they stick out like a sore thumb. They're just so freaking obvious. Wait, is it dxyz? Wait, what was that other one that Dom H? That was one. Was it Dom H. What up Dom? Dom. Dom. What was it? What's a ticker? Not Dom H. You know which one I'm talking about. Andrew. Yeah, there you go. Dom age. This one was. This is another perfect example. This looks just like served it. You know it had the first big green day, then it had the big blow off top second day comes down, puts in the tight on the five day and then boom. But it was a one day move. But with 30 EMA magic, you're up 80 on your position in a day and you roll that over then this is the essence of 38 Magic. These stocks. Let's look at that ass and tees, see if there's one there. This thing is just insane. There's no setup there. There's probably like an hourly something or other long way. Oh yeah. This one had tons of stair step. Hourly stair steps. 1, 2o. This would have sucked. Look at that wick. That would have been annoying. Okay, cool. So I don't know like, like I probably made the comment chat but like this would be very hard. I don't know. It wouldn't be a 30ema magic setup. This is like more so just a traditional day trading scalping setup because for it to be a 30ema magic setup. It has to meet the scan requirements. It has to have made a big move up. It has to have pulled back and put in a tight day. The shoryukins do that. They put in a big, big move up. They put, they pull back one or two or three or four days. They put in a tight candle and then they expand. You know they don't have the surf. They may have some undercut. But still though, I mean it's really, you have that really tight day to risk off is what, is what's important. I don't, I, I do not trade loose charts period. That's why I like, I like Palantir so much. Big move up, pullback, undercut, reclaim and now just a little bit of surf back through the neckline. I mean that's a great setup. Cool. So I mean it's really straightforward. It doesn't have to be complicated. Where I see most people kind of mess it up up is they just don't do the reps. They, they don't stick to one scan. They buy stocks in ranges. They don't focus on momentum. Like I need to see stocks going like straight the F up to get excited. Like those are the ones that you want to hold on to. This one eoes, eos. This one looks really good. This is basically a Shoryuken. Really big move up on earnings. Two day pullback. Look at that perfect wick off the five day sma. You have a nice left side peak, although not very well defined. So it's not very well defined on the daily but we can find a clue potentially on the weekly. Well where it's well defined and it is, it's much better to find here like gave us a nice peak. 664. I don't like it too much because it's not like a round number. Not very important to me. But I do like the round logical levels. Like if it was 650 or 7, like here 7. You know it basically rejected 7. But yeah, this thing, this thing looks great. But yeah, that's like a. Sure you can. It's like a failed breakout, failed breakdown. Palantir is a failed breakdown, failed breakout breakdown. Now it's setting back up. Right. The whole market is essentially a failed breakout to break down. Now it's now it's now it's rallying back up. I mean that's how you get people all sorts of offsides. Let's see. Anybody else want any charts? Want, want to hear me ramble about other charts? Omer See, I like. Yeah, yeah, that's a. Sure you can. That's a good one. That's a good four day. Big move up. Nice linear pullback undercuts. And it puts in this super tight day. Like, I would have been stalking it here. I would have been stalking it the whole time because it meets my scan at the time. Like, if this is popping up on my scan, I'm seeing it every day and I'm seeing it gradually pull back and I'm seeing it get tight. I'm watching it every day. That's beautiful. That's a beautiful chart. Yeah, this is a great example of Le Shori tmc, I think was. One, two. You're right on it. Yeah, it is. It's just still more. It's. It is. It's just sloppy. It's not clean. Like here. I would have really liked it. Right, like that right there is like perfectly set up. And then it gave you a fake breakout. You took it and you stopped out probably. And then it does that the next day. And then it puts a tight candle in another tight candle. This is still in the realm of Shoryuken. It's just kind of like on the outlier. Like, the reason why it's called Shoryuken is because of Street Fighter. Ryu has a move where he says he screams, Shoryuken. I'm gonna post a gif. You haven't seen it already? There's a lot of them. This is it. And if you think about that, that's exactly what the chart does. I was calling them like, I forget what I was calling before something. And Louie was like, it already has a name or. No, I was calling him a pivot. But traditionally in like the technical. Just analyst, I guess, history and encyclopedia, the pivot is already used by just like a breakout through a key level, which doesn't really make sense to me. I think pivot is actually a more apt name for this because it's literally pivoting while like, they'll call like a flat base breakout a pivot. I don't get it, but it already exists. So I'm like, okay, I'll call it what it looks like. And as a Shoryuken, it looks just like that. So yeah, I mean, did it Shoryuken? Yeah, that shot. It certainly did. But it's not as clean as I. As I'd like it. I may have lost sight of this, you know, but what I really liked about it still though is it had that left side peak that gave you such a Clean risk off level. That's what's also really important is having these clean risk off levels. These previous failure levels like him's previously failed at 35 a bunch of times. Even on the gap up on, on five five. It failed. It retraced, it undercut. But that, that or I think it was 54 on 5 5. It then finally pushed through it though. But you had such a clean, you know, risk off level. Like here you have such a clean risk off level that its expansion candle literally is opening on your, on your level. I mean that's like the dream when you're looking at the five minute chart and you have previous high of day printed on your five day or on your five minute chart like I do. Like this green line is my, my, my previous high of day. I love it when I see that first five minute candle just open clean as with no wick above it. Like that's awesome. And so what we saw here, you can just see there's no real wick down. It did that. And it's not just above yesterday's high, but it's above the level that really matters. This sucker, this high volume 219, February 19th, my dad's birthday failure level where it tried to go higher but it couldn't. Yeah, that, that was, that was the spot. It actually looks great right now to be frank. Like this looks good now. You don't have as clean of a level anymore. Like your high volume level is, is very far away from price currently. So you're buying ahead of that high volume level. But there's plenty of range to capture. This is another great use of the 30 EMA magic where a traditional swing trader would want to buy this tight consolidation, big move up, pullback surfing all that. The range isn't tight enough. It's not compact enough. That's another really kind of key feature of, of just my execution is I really want to see current price like the open be very close to the breakout level like the actual level that matters because so often people will buy it from here and they'll catch a good move, but they're expecting it to push through and make highs and just rip. But it may not. It has this really significant, a few significant recent levels with, with pretty harsh rejection that you're essentially trading into now. This is a perfect opportunity for 30M magic because the likelihood of, you know, your, you know, pushing through this. I don't know who, who knows. It's. It's not as high as if you know, price was pressing up against that neckline. So 30 Maui the daily setup, you understand that you have that overhead line, but it doesn't matter anyways. You can capture the 17% gain which you'll probably get. Usually when you're buying mid range like this, those lines are just gravity. Like they just pull to it, but then they reject. So this is a great way to capture it. And then you roll it over and you just kind of keep it moving. That the Big Candle 2 is also a great 30 emane magic. There will be one of the, one of the, the difficult parts of the 30 Ma magic is especially if you're a little bit more indoctrinated in the swing trading world is you see a great daily setup and you just want to hold it. You just want to hold it. Like you just won't take the gain. You just won't take the gain. And like you need to, you just need to keep rolling over the edge. There will be some that you buy and you take the gain and it runs another 400% and you're going to miss it. Oh well, doesn't matter because you're going to catch a hundred percent gainers in a day. You're going to catch dom H an 80 gainer. You're going to catch these moves still and you're going to literally capture the entire thing. You're not going to think anything about it and you're just going to move up and you're just going to keep doing that, doing that, doing that until the opportunity set dries up. That is really how far I think this can take you. You could be super, super, super patient and you may not get any, you know, solid, you know, short duration, high momentum trades to really move the needle. But you know, like, if you're in a perpetually hot market like we are, there will be period there. You'll eventually hit a spot where your scans just won't produce names anymore that, that do this and they don't make these 80, 100, 200, 200, 500 moves in a day or so. They just don't. So the edge, the small account edge starts to wear out. But like man, this is a real great single style setup to focus on to really cut your teeth and you know, get used to momentum. Because if you get used to these sorts of movements and you can really capture them and stay disciplined in them. Like once you move to like actually swing trading and all you have to do is just hold it longer with bigger size. Like it gets super, super easy. It gets easy where people screw up is as their accounts get bigger, they don't scale back their position sizes. You know, in the beginning, you can go one of two ways. I mean, we're all human, right? Like, you know, if I could just program a robot to just take every single setup that meets my criteria with a 10% position size, I would. I would just let it run forever because I know that eventually it's going to make billions of dollars. And the smaller the size, the less likely it is to blow up. But even with 10% position sizes, like, you can just sit there and do the math and you'll see that over five, 10 years, you will make. You could. You have the. You have the opportunity to make serious, serious, serious money. Now, I think, though, that you can push it as well. But I don't want to see new traders push any meaningful percentage of their net worth. It's just foolish. It's foolish. It's like, get some money in the game. Like, sure, but like I said, I don't. There's this, like, I hear people say that, like, oh, paper traders, like, you know, they don't. They don't have any, like, you know, equity. They don't have any skin in the game. They don't know what it feels like to shake, right? And it's like, okay, you know, you got to get the shakes out of your system. But, like, none of that should matter. It's just. You're just playing a video game, right? And so, like, you're just following a simple system. Like, the money, I don't know, it's. It doesn't. It shouldn't matter at all. Like, you shouldn't need those emotions. Like, those emotions shouldn't be there. If they are, you're taking too much size relative to your net worth. Like, if you feel like that ever, you're taking too much size, you know, according to your net worth. Like, it's just. That's like a great proprietary, I think, indicator that everybody can kind of use that if you feel a little clammy, you're either making a ton of money or you're probably taking too much size or doing something that you're not supposed to do. So. So, yeah, yeah, this one looks good, though. Tmc. All right, let's see what else we got.
What kind of specific scan are you running?
Question. So I personally would have two criteria in my scan. One, average daily dollar volume over the last day, single day. Two, ADR as high as possible until my scandal doesn't produce any more than 50 names. That's it. So if if, if I say I set my dollar volume to 10 million and I set my initial ADR to 3, my scan is going to produce 2,000 results. Right? The, the rule is your, your dollar volume should be proportional or it should be, you know, you can do, what is it, 10x you can do 200 times your, your buy in or no 100 times you're buying or just 10x your net liquid. And that's like your minimum dollar volume cut off. I like going a little higher now, especially with the new, you know, triple leveraged and there's just more opportunities. But like, let's just say that the absolute minimum dollar volume you're allowed to run in an account is, let's see, what's, what's MBOT at? Connor, can you tell me what MBOT's dollar volume is? I want to say it's less than 10 million or maybe is exactly 10 million. Or somebody can tell me the dollar volume with mbot, It's that low. You know what I have it m bought. Huh? Yeah. So the 20 day is 7% or this 20 day is 7 million, 2 days, 3 million. This is so. Well, so the idea, the reason why. All right, so obviously you know, Paula, Maggie can't trade the stock because if he's taking an average of 10 position side his 10 right now is more, you know, obviously more than this stock trades in an entire day, he'll just halt it immediately. Right, but if your, if your account is 25,000, you know, let's just say it's at PDT and you're taking, you know, 20% position, $5,000 position. It's, it's not going to move the stock. Right. So you can trade it. It's within your liquidity range. So you would again, that's like the hard rule you need. That's like, that is the first component of the scan that you set. You only have two components. You have dollar volume and you have AP. I use APTR. But Colin, Maggie talks about ADRs and it's easier to say, so I'm just saying ADR, but essentially the same thing. But dollar volume is the hard rule. It must be a hard ratio relative to your net liquid. So that's set. And then every Sunday you should update it as your account balance fluctuates. So then you set your ADR to five. Okay. It produces 500 names. Then you. Okay, well the rule says I need it to produce no more than 50. Okay. So then what you do is you increase your ADR. So you go to six. Now it produces, you know, 100 names or let's say 150 names. Then you go to nine and, and it produces 75 names. Then you go to 10 and it produces 49 names. That is where your scan is at for, for that time. So that's, that's how I like following the rules tightly would instruct somebody to set their scans like Lewis. He set his scan like that and he scaled it proportionally. I would ask him every week or every other week what his dollar volume was at because then I know what his account size is at because I know Louie's taking, you know, 10 to 20 positions and he's scaling his dollar volume and his scan according with his net liquid. That is literally how you scale. So you're keeping it super simple. Your scan has two conditions. You're looking for very similar chart pattern and high momentum names. And you're buying and selling essentially on the same day. There's more nuance and there's some tip, there's some like tricks and things that you can do, you know, to kind of juice more, more out of moves. But in essence, like if you just simply bought through the line, set an auto trail to sell all of your position at the first five minute close below the 50, you'll grow your account faster than pretty much any other strategy I can think of. Unless you're some savant. Yes. Oh, you're gone. Now you're back. Now he's gone again. Now he's back.
You're running those two criteria of the absolute dollar value over the last day and then the highest they are to just minimize it down to less than 15 names and then you add them to a watch list where you like focus and you track where they were to, to see if it set up, if it sets up shins.
Yep. Yeah, sets up shoryukins or flags or you know, whatever tight consolidations that follow this principle. Big move up, pullback, undercut, reclaim, surf. It needs to match, you know, four out of five of the conditions essentially. So like that's also how you can create a star scale. So if it only matches one of the conditions, it, it's a one star setup. If it matches all five, it's a five star setup. If it matches all 5 and has everything going for it. Like it's a six star setup. Right. Like that's the highest, you know, it's a bonus sort of thing. But like it's a very, that's a very simple, straightforward system. We could scan and build a watch list and Actually do it together. I'm totally down to do that.
If everyone else.
Oh, I'm here, I'm here. So all right, let's.
Yeah, my background is more like Minervini type. So I'm pretty, I'm pretty new to like buying just like one day Titans instead of like VCPs and more like not being wedged up and more like a very tight. But at the end of like minimum four to six weeks and more. More of consolidation rather than just a tiny pullback and you know, catching high momentum. So my next question would be. Obviously would be amazing if we can scan together but my question would be if it's. You would assume you buy intraday on the chart you just, you, you use the low of like I. I'm just asking information. I guess you use like an orb.
Well, you know, it's hard to say without context and skill set of a trader. So we have to kind of you. You know, and this is the first time that I've actually like sat in front of a bunch of people and thought through this and you know, kind of built it together. I'm totally down to build this whole system live stream with you guys. Like I'm totally down to do it. Like I'm totally down to do that. So like and as I kind of work through it, I think of like, you know, what's the right progression? So like when I build things, like when I. I'll end up building like these little demos of things, things that may be widgets or you know, whatever we can just call them. Widgets could be spreadsheets, could be anything. And I build these little iterations and I find out that like, okay, I built it this way the first time quickly it doesn't work that well. I need to do this action first, etc. Etc. And so I'm kind of coming to that realization now with how we're doing this. We essentially need to build the avatar of the journey of this trader, right? Like we all need to kind of build this trader. We can name him something or her. It doesn't really matter where that person starts with a certain skill set that we all understand where its basis, where that person's basis is. I mean logically I think that it would make sense to choose the lowest level of understanding how to do any of this stuff. If I were to actually build out a course and teach people how to truly do this, we would start with. We would start with just platform setup, aspect ratio of charts, eliminating noise. Most people think that like eliminating noise is like Turning off discord and stuff like that. No, no, no, that's, that's not eliminating noise to me. It's, it's a part of it. But like it's, it's removing characters, single letters from watch list column titles that do not need to be there. It's reducing your software to the bare or just to what's necessary to execute this system. Now it's really hard to know how to do that without any mentorship and never have done it before. Elon Musk's Raptor Engine is a perfect example of this. Everybody's seen the three phase evolution of the Raptor and it's absolutely remarkable. I mean that is, that is the epitome of continual improvement efforts. And you know me, that's just the way I work. That's just the way my mind goes is I'm always trying to reduce inputs while simultaneously enhancing output. Right like that. That is my, my objective pretty much for, for everything. So with that being said, and it would suck, I really don't want to have to go back to the beginning. And this was supposed to be just kind of an intro foray into 30 EMA magic, but I'm totally down straight up to just do a boot camp from the very beginning for you guys too. It would be kind of spread out over several episodes obviously, and we'd have to take it chunk by chunk, but you guys could help me fumble through it and, and then, you know, by the second or third time I do it, it'll actually be in really good shape. You know, maybe we can monetize it for charity or something. But yeah, you know, I'm just thinking out loud. I think that's a good approach. But you know, just for this particular, for your question, how would we enter? And I had to give you all that context because that's what literally ran through my mind in like two seconds is do you even know the principles of a washout long? Do you understand the entry tactics? I would like to think that you don't because that's a little bit more of an aggressive, experienced, kind of chaotic entry. It's a very high volatility entry where price is quite literally going, moving away from your, from your byline. There's a couple, you know, scenarios there. The chart could be gapping over your byline and that it washes out and at open and then you're buying it against the key level. So let me see if there's an example in this chart. No, I think HIMS was a good example of that actually. Where it. No, actually that one didn't even gap over it. But there's many times where price will gap over your key level and then red at open and the first like 20, 20 minutes, it flushes into your key level. Whether it's a horizontal line coinciding with, you know, the 10D, 10 day SMA, you have both of those lines there. That's where you can like, you know, take an entry for 30ema. Magic setup. I like to consider myself being, you know, exceptional at doing this. You know, there was a period where I got really good at it and I got really good at identifying levels where you buy and the price immediately and violently, with haste moves away from your average. Like that's the goal. Like if you could buy hims at 35 bucks and then in five minutes it's at $100,000, you would be extremely happy. Right? Like that would be like the greatest possible outcome. Right? Well, if you bought it at 35 bucks and an hour later it's at 34.75 and you're sitting a little red and it hasn't moved away from your average. That's one of the most uncomfortable outcomes after buying a stock. And so I found that the stocks that you buy that move the fastest away from your average or sell, those are the ones that end up being your best winner. And those are the levels that you want to look for. And that's why that's what a key level is. It's, it has gravity, it either repels it, either it either runs into it and rejects, or you flip the chart upside down, it falls into it and rips, or it pulls. Right. And you just want to find spots where price moves away very quickly from your entry. So you have upward capitulations, you have downward capitulations, and then you have breakouts, which are kind of the same thing ultimately. I mean, the, the underlying mechanisms are slightly different, but. Yeah. Yeah. Moral of the story is you want, you want price to move very fast away from, from your entry. You know, your question on what was that chart we were looking at? I don't even remember. It wasn't mbot. It was. Maybe it was. Yeah. How would, how would you enter? And it really just depends on your skill set. Like, I don't know if I could assume that you have all the day trading skill sets necessary to do it, but there's really only like in my opinion, two ways to enter along on a five minute chart. One, you're buying like an orb, you're buying over an Established or you're buying the orb established 5 minute high. You can even buy the first 5 minute candle if you have that kind of experience. Like I think Herb was talking about it and I think that maybe what he was getting, getting to because there was no real orb on that. There was. I don't know what hymns day it was, but I think there was a five minute candle I bought that was not an orbit. Literally just went straight up. That's where you know the tape and just experience come from. I just see the speed and the velocity of the tape and that is just a scenario where I know price is going to move quickly away from where I buy it. You know, it's just kind of a feel thing because if I would have waited for the orb, it's already up, you know, whatever 10, who knows? In that first five minute candle there's arguments that people will use, oh, we'll use a one minute orb. Like that's fine, you know, you can like. I think that new traders who are kind of un, who just don't have enough experience being successful, you know. Therefore they lack the confidence. Like it. It is very, very important for you to kind of stick to something while cautiously experimenting with other things to try to gain your own edge. Like edge doesn't mean you're doing something unique edge in my opinion it means that, it means that you're doing something, a combination of common things more than likely within your skill set that you have conviction in that are consistently profitable in the context of trading. So it's like a little like one, two punch, a little, a little combo that, that you, that you are able to establish for yourself that works time and time out. Like the washout longs like one on hims bouncing off the five men. The, the daily sma. Like that is my bread and butter. Like for you guys who have been here and watched my executions, you know, over the last, I don't know, year or so. Like you see like the washout longs like I've just like nailed Lowe's like down to the pennies on some of them. And it's just experience. It's just experience. But I would like to think that most like year one traders are like, they're not doing that unless they you know, put in the chart time, you know, and they're very confident in it. They're just buying the, you know, like the breakouts through levels. Like as the price moves through the level, you buy it, you set your stop at the, at the, the logical low. Like here Mbot all right mbot, let's see it. This is the level for me. What day is this? This is 27 this high. This is kind of like the pivotal spot. So it tried to break through it once failed twice failed three, four times failed. It's still holding up. I would buy it again. I think I probably already bought it three times through this line. I would buy it again in this wallet count if I buying car. So let's see if it breaks out tomorrow. It's not that. See here's the problem with mbot. Can anybody identify the problem with it? On the daily it appears to put you putting in a tight candle. But Our breakout level is 266. What makes this not ideal for. For the system that I'm explaining to you guys? I'll give you a second. Somebody wants to try to answer it. Extension from the mas. No, no. It's really tight to the moving averages. I mean so if you look at my intraday charts, it's the same on. On both those setups. Now the. The teal line is the 10 day SMA. The pink is the five day. This maroon is the 20. And then they're colored the same as my daily charts. So like when I'm scanning at night, I'm scanning on the daily or the weekly and I kind of just like remember these, these formations because I see MBOT every single day. Like I know what the chart looks like. So when it comes down to like actual execution time, I'm just looking at the five minute and I have these points of reference that are the dailies and I have my. My key level marked which should be green. I mean those are all like valid points guys. But it's not the key point. This. The key point for me is actually. Oh it's only 6% away from the. The breakout level. The key point for me though is it's actually. I don't even know if I touched on this. I'm sorry is previous high of day or two day high? Yeah, the high of day. This 283 breakout is just. Or a breakdown level is just too far away. So like that is like the local. Local key level. It's that big wick level. It's this thing up here I believe. So it's just too far away for like a. Like a. A very competent swing trade. You're just going to run into it. It's much better for like a 30 EMA magic sort of trade where you can capture you know a 10 plus gain in a day. But I just don't like that it's not pressing this like final boss level. I mean MBOT just kind of sucks overall. It's choppy. I like how it's holding up though. And I really do think that out of all the artificial all out of all the industries that are going to greatly be revolutionized every single industry that survives AI will be positive, positively revolutionized by AI. And one of the ones that I think that's going to have one of the the largest percent changes if you can measure it is going to be healthcare. And it's like yeah, like I know they like say don't trade biotech stocks and stuff. Like I don't even know why. Why is Labu dying still anyways? I think it's all going to turn around and MBOT is kind of like an example of it. I'm. I'm very curious to see where a lot of the names that embrace AI in in bio end up over the next year or so. But I mean it's got robot in its name. It's. It's robotic. They're doing sweet. It's holding up high ADR super liquid like this is. This would have to be like. It is not a question of how many times you've got stopped out. Like I've been stopped out of MBOT three or four times. Zen's been stopped out a few times as well. Like it stays on my actionable list when it's actionable. If it gave just a couple more days. There's two scenarios where you buy it in my opinion. You also have these high volume levels up here. Yeah. These 283. That's the real level. You have that high volume gap up close here and it coincides with that wick. That's the new level. All right. So I just realized that while talking to you guys. So when I say high volume close I'm looking at the highest candlestick within the relevant range. This is the savage volume day. I'm looking at the close the closes 284 now I now we're building a range where we've rejected it again. Look at that. Rejected it to the T. Right. So now we have like a really really nice three almost four point touch. Like we're really starting to build that range. Like MBOT's going to go go. The fact that it's holding up. This thing's going to go. This thing's going to go. But it's still too far away from that line. So like ideally what I would like to see is the only way that it would be actionable tomorrow. Would be if it gaps over on some catalyst news. That'd be the only way they would be actionable for me. If it's gapping out of this range that it's just been rejecting on due to no news, it's not just going to magically gap out of this range and run to $10 with no news. It either is going to tomorrow. It's either going to keep grinding higher and then press it and break out and hopefully there's news or something to keep it going. Yeah, but it's not, it's not just going to break out tomorrow, no news. So it's not, it's not actionable until it either goes more sideways or it has some, some event, preferably an event event. If it has a great event, that makes it much easier to buy it and have conviction and hold, hold with size. And you don't even have to know what the news is or anything. It could just be a high volume event through the key level, but you don't want to see it grind on low, low shitty volume up through that level. It's not going to work. I know, I, I know I can't, I can't get rid of it either. But that's great though because it's still hitting your scan. It still has all the cool criteria. Like it looks great, honestly. I mean, all in all it looks great. Big move up. It shows that it can do 100% move in just a couple of weeks. Pullback, reclaim. It's surfing. It's tight. I mean this meets all of the criteria. It's beautiful. Cut and print. Oh, not this one. What's the other one? Achr. Ah, there's so many beautiful ones right now. This one's beautiful. It's just ahead of earnings. It's not. It's gone up 70% and it's in a range like the stock hasn't even broken out and it's moving 70% more like it's insane. This was a good shukin. I don't know if Conor's still on this. Actually a great example, Perfect example. Big move up a couple of days. 50 pullback. Two day pullback, tight day gone. She gone. Wow. 150 move in 11 days on huge volume. Like, I just don't know why people trade. I don't know why people don't trade names. Why don't people trade their shoe size? It's literally that like if you just traded your shoe size, you'd grow your account so much faster. Like there's people with fraction of the account that like, you know, that like, you know, swing trades like I have or you know, similar that like would never even touch this thing with a ten foot pole. Like, you know, I like Martin Shkreli. I do. I have a lot of respect for him. I think he's. Why trade. Yeah, he's, he's a special one. But the fact that like this dude's talking about like Ionq like you know, this company makes no money like, like their, their chip can't even like, you know, add two plus one together like okay, who gives a shit? It went 500% in 90 days. RGTI look at all the opportunities. Every one of these were a five day SMA touch and perfectly eligible for buying. We're not even talking about the range down here in early November. But like you bought this and just you're a 500% like Martin is not catching 5% winners or 500 winners period. End of story. Period, end of story. And it's because of his bias and the fact that this company does not make money. Just true. It's in an industry that probably won't be developed for decades, which is true. But who gives a shit? All that matters is big move up, pullback, undercut, reclaim, get tight, surf, expand. That's all it. All it. All it is. And to boot this thing had insane volume and liquidity down here. Like somebody do the calculation for me. Okay, do it off top of this, this candle right here, this little tight candle was a $300 million debt. I could take full size positions in it right now with my account right now. But I missed it. I missed it. I took qubit, but I got wicked out that day. That would have just been, that would have been a probably my, my, my single largest percent gain. But doesn't matter what, it could have, should have got stuffed out. But like you know, 50 million dollar, 10 million dollar accounts can play this name all day long. I just don't, I just don't get it. And it's because so many people just have this, this bias that, that like shitty companies you just should stay away from. Yeah. If you're an investor, investors have multi year horizon like duh. No investors buying a stock of a thousand percent to invest. Duh. Like it's a momentum plaque. It's, it's like I don't know. But yeah. This is just absolutely amazing. Actually. No, I take it back. This is the most opportunistic chart since siun. The front side of Ruggedo was just insane and Then obviously the backside, which I shorted very well. I didn't nail it by any means, but it was a seven figure short. It was nice. This is also a pristine example of a parabolic bounce. But parabolic balance, parabolic shorts, those are all advanced trader techniques that, that like I don't even want to get into until I see like you know, us having like 25 star traders in the chat or something. Those are the setups you just got to learn for yourself. Like people ask me like how do you do like the after hours earning momentum kind of scalp things like you'll hear time and time again. I'm just not gonna teach anybody that because people will kill themselves. Yeah, cubit, all of them. I mean it was the single. This is the single greatest theme move I've ever seen in my short career. And there's so much nuance to, to the power of the move the dumber and the let the, the, the less substance it has it seems like the higher it moves. Like literally the only substance that it had was this move had. Was all the names had quantum in the names and nobody understood what the it was. That's I like that's it. Like literally it was just like big companies are talking about it and it had computer in the name. Oh my God, a new computing technology is going to come out like, but they're holding up which is so crazy. And this is something that's really interesting to me is like, you know, Jensen's like if we all accept the fact that humans don't understand what like exponential growth is, is like I mean mathematicians do and like, you know, we do it like kind of like an elementary extent. But like I don't think that like where our brains are built to, to really understand exponential. The exponential. Like I don't really think we need to but you know, AI and I mean it is exponential like its capabilities. And you know, I know that like you know, quantum 30 years out, whatnot. But I don't, I don't think that, I don't think that humans are going to be able to predict technological advancement very well or let's just say it like this. The ability for humans to predict where technology will be in the next decade or few is, is the skill set is just getting worse and worse. Probably our prediction accuracy is going to get lower and lower as it goes. So I mean, who knows. But what I do know is this chart looks great, but can somebody say like what is one. What, what are a couple negatives with this chart? I mean I'll tell you one right off the bat. One is it's holding up but it's not demonstrating momentum yet. Where's the big move up? Yeah, and there's overhead resistance. Right? Those are the other things. Yep. But like the very first criteria for building a five star setup is literally big move up. Like Catalyst is cool and all that. Like, I mean you don't need it, but it's really big move up. There's no big move up. It's a non starter. Like it could break out. It could do all that. I mean Qubit had Cubit was an or. What is it? QBTS was a like an EP move. So it didn't really need that big move up. It's got it now though. So like if Cubit or QBTS were to go like you know, here and then put in a tight day or something, like I'll be watching it into Blue skies territory for sure. I mean obviously you can't buy it now. It was good. It was good mid range. But what are some other ones that look good right now? Let me look at my watch list. Damn, Tessie, we're up 5%. Love it. It's another one that looks really, really good. I think I already kind of covered them all. Oh, here's a really good. I think this looks awesome for a small account. Doesn't have the tight day and it has earnings. But this thing just like I'm looking at, like most people I feel like are probably looking at the chart here. That's where their eye goes. Right. Which is logical. I look at here. Because this tells me what it's capable of. It made really big linear moves, like clean moves. I mean this thing gave some opportunities. Did it not one 200 or gave two opportunities? Two really nice ones. 200. But it makes really big clean moves. So it has a history of that. So that's like what would make me a little bit more excited about it. Okay, look, it has a history of making big linear moves. It's got a really nice chart shape currently. Big move up. Pullback on the weekly reclaim. Surfing higher lows. It looks really good. Let's look and see if it has a nice weekly level nearby. There it is. That one's not bad. 250. I don't like the, the 200 here though. But earnings should push it through the weekly 200. So this thing's not a buy ahead of earnings, but this one should be on watch I think for like what, what Ted and and Louie actually been nailing this er season. They've Been. There's been some really amazing, er, ignition candles, as I call them, this season. Actually maybe like the best ever. I have not caught a single one of them. But I'm watching. I'm watching. There's not many. Not many names that are, like, eligible for me. ACHR is one. This one I definitely, definitely would take. The hell's the other one? The other one was. You know, I hate this name. It's cost me a lot of money. But it's also set up. ASTS just has this big range. It has proven itself. It can make really big moves fast. Like, this move is just absolutely nuts. Thousand percent, 100 days. Yeah. Let's look at your watch list, kids. Let's look at kids. Why does. Why is kids on your watch list? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. This one's a good one, Harvey. It's like a hybrid shoryukin. Okay. So it's kind of like a prolonged one. But still though. Yeah, I mean, it's lost momentum. Like. Sure. You can just not work past the T10. If it goes to the. It's over. It's no longer. It needs. It needs more sideways. It needs to set up like a real base. But this one, it. It fell below the high volume close of. Let's just say 550 or. Yeah, 540. Whatever. I'll just leave it there. All right, 543. Came below it, tried to break back out, came below it. Real tight candle. My buy would be through the high volume close. So I would set. You know, let's look at it on the 24 and make sure some of these you gotta. Yeah. See. Completely different still, though, it's the same. Same. Same kind of concept. Yeah. Yeah. This one's not bad. This one's not bad. See, this one I kind of have to explore a little bit more and more time frames just trying to find. Yeah, that line's good. This line's pretty good. Over five. Let's see what five looks like. No, the high was. What was it? It was five. 14. See, that's like an odd. Just an. Like the. More like random. Like the. The level. Like. Like, I found that the biggest moves move through, like the cleanest, like, round number sort of levels. $0.50 dollars, $10, $100, etc. Like, the hardest levels to track crack in the market are $1, $10, $100, $, thousand dollars. Those are the hardest levels. So those, like. Those are ones that I like to see as, like, key levels. Like, if you see like a. Sure. You can going back through 10. Like $10. That's like, it's really nice. You know. This one's fine. It's a little far away, but this stock has so much range. I don't know. I would take it through 537, something like that. All right. RBLX. Curious. This one hasn't died yet. Yeah, not bad. I mean I, I look at it as. It's a lower high. That's a strong bull divergence. It's just far away from like the meaningful breakout level still. Like, I just don't know how to buy it. Like you could have bought it yesterday as a cheat. That would have been the entry. I don't know how you buy it now because I just like, I do not like buying ahead of key levels. I just feel like I'm gonna get stuffed. Oprx. It's a nice one. Super thin. I would probably suspect that if you are running, running your scan with the proper ratio of dollar volume to your, your equity, that, that this, that 8% average percent true range would actually be too low. So you probably wouldn't produce. Produce this. But it, it is going through 10. That's kind of funny. Yeah. I mean this is a. It's a nice chart. Probably. I don't know. It's like the high is just not. Yeah, you'd probably have to buy it up here, I think. I don't know. It's kind of just like grinding into. Into resistance. But it has the earnings. So I mean, that's going to be your volatility event. That's gonna be your volume event. So I would just obviously wait for earnings and see what they do there. Let's see. Rgc. Holy. Oh yeah. This thing. Mm. It. See, it gave. It never gave a shit. Yeah, it did. Oh my God. That's brutal. That's so brutal. Holy. So this day, I don't know if I would have actually shorted it on this day. I would not have shorted it this time. But I definitely. This is sick. I probably would have shorted it on five. Hey, Karambo. I'm glad I didn't. It wasn't like blow off though. There's no capitulation yet. Where's that asts at or ass? This one? Yeah. This one hasn't had a blow off top move yet. CG or CEP was it. I showed it. This one. This one. This one had it. I wished it would have went three days, but I was pissed. I was in Florida and I missed this. I actually entered it perfectly. Where is five? Yeah, yeah. I entered it, I think right here. Literally I had like top tick average. I got looked out and then this was just like such a nasty dump. It's like 20 and just, it's like an hour. Thoughts on ST&E. See, like my scans aren't pulling up any of these names. I don't even know what they are. Yeah, it's okay. I mean, it's got a well defined range, a nice wick off the. The 20, the fives below the 10. Like, I think it needs more, more, more building. It just reported earnings. I don't know. I mean, I like, I like other charts. I like OKLO better. OKLO had news going into Friday too. Yeah, this feels identical to hims before the hems run. Oklo is down. Definitely a big watch. It's the exact same chart as hems. Same chart. Why? Oh, I need an s, don't I? Yeah, it's like this. It's the exact same chart. It's beautiful. I expect oklo to do exactly what ims does. It's so nice. And then we report. What is that? Tuesday? Yeah, you. Asts 30 minute or asst. I mean, I don't know about all that. Let me remove. I want to short it. Like, that's why it's on my watch list. I'm going to short this sucker eventually. What was I about to do? I was going to. Yeah, I mean it looks a lot better without extended on for sure. Yeah, it's a high type flag. I mean but like, this is what I don't like. I see price going up, I see momentum going, going down. I don't like that. I see this thing just rolls over like it's gonna happen. What would be really great is if it went like this first and then failed back below this line and then dead. I will sit here and talk to you guys as long as you have questions, but as soon as I start seeing the questions dry up, I'm gonna bounce. So you can keep firing them if you want to keep going over tickers and whatnot. We were talking about the 30ema magic. Obviously I got off on a tangent. Hopefully I, I covered it well enough for you to understand the, the principles of it. I really do want to keep doing what we're doing now though. I like the idea, the notion of building an avatar and literally starting from the beginning, like, like deleting toss from my computer, setting it back up from scratch and explaining why everything is in the position that it is. I think it could be really beneficial to people. I'd love I personally. I mean if I, you know, if I had people like joining a boot camp or something I was selling, I would be like, all right, step, step one, download thinkorswim. Right. Like I wouldn't accept other brokerages. If you're already on another brokerage, that's fine. I don't know my way around it. I don't know how I can't help you as well. You can figure it out yourself and try to, try to emulate. I mean really, if you understand the principles that I would explain the reasons why you should be able to figure it out and kind of emulate it. But would you take OKLO now with earnings coming? No, I would not. Oh, with. Yeah. So all right, here's risks with can. Does anybody know the reason why Qualagi states that he does not take trades within six days of earnings? Anybody? This will show me if anybody actually has. Has watched his stuff. Yeah, but specifically why, why, why does he not take them within striking distance? No. Because sometimes these companies release pre earnings. Weird happens moving up in front of earnings. Sometimes they, they release them early. Usually they don't release bad stuff early, I don't think but like weird news events happen around earnings earning season. That's why he doesn't do it. It's just there's, there's just more unknowns. Yeah. And you definitely like and then also what's the point? You're just gonna what hold it through earnings. You're likely not gonna have cushion. It's just, it's just not worth the time. But 30 EMA magic. That's a great, great use of it. There are so many instances where I want to buy ahead of earnings because the chart looks great but it can't like you know, for me I would have bought bought dash but I think that like most stocks that, that do well like most stocks that small accounts are trading earnings don't really matter that much. But still I'm not holding it. I'm not holding them through it. This thing is oh my God so good and look it like wicked it see the 5 wasn't there when it wicked. It's just now caught up but man, this thing is freaking perfect. There's so many of them. So that's one. There's another. What's this one Sezzle. That's that's another. I thought it was going to DTSS but it didn't odd. It's another. I mean it's just so clean this season they're all pulling upsts 20, 23 or 20, 21. I think it looks. Yeah, they're just so good. I mean like you can't get into any of them. That's why you got to buy the orb day one on these. So if anybody sees one of these tomorrow, holler. Let me pull up our pre market earnings for tomorrow. Let's see, pre market earnings. Holy schnikes. Let's see what we got going on. Yeah, let's go through some of these turds. This chart looks like it's gone up a lot. 200 over 200 years. I mean like it's. It's literally all time highs going through. It just looks like to me I would never want it. It's got the liquidity. It's even got the adr. For me, I just. Just doesn't have a history. This is why I don't like it. I look here, who knows? It probably just goes straight up cleanly forever. I just look at here and I know it's a joke giant range. But like it just looks like this thing. Oh my God. It's had like some good opportunities Monday. Now it's just going to get replaced by like a ninth, a ninth graders like AI class project Monday. All right, you okay this one. SWX trash. See what else. I'm gonna filter by a ptr. Let's look at the fast ones first. Key, key. Okay, so like what I would be looking for? Ahead of earnings or just like nice big bases? Really? Wizard, you're new. Let's get you up here. What up, Wizard? Are you there? Lame. This is a nice base. Lbt. Ltbr. This looks like a bunch of other charts right now, doesn't it? What do they do? Somebody knows what is. Oh, God. All right, five seconds to get your mic under controller. I'm kicking you off. Peace. What does ltd do? This looks good. Nuclear fuel. You know what it looks like? Qbts. It looks like Oklahoma. Okay, cool. So it's in that Oklo group. Oklo smr. This one's good. I'd put that one on there. Is it thin? Oh, it's super stupid thin. All right, so all right, look, without knowing contact, like without having context of. Of Oklo and smr. Like you would. You would think this looks like decent to like pay attention to. But like, okay, it has an 8 APTR and it has an average daily dollar volume of 5.5 million Oklo is the same damn chart. It has a 10 APTR and 250. Like you should literally just take LTB TL, whatever the that stupid ticker and Just never look at it ever again. Just. Just block it. Yep. Don't care. All right, let's see Monday. All right, we're done with this. Wait, medic. Medic. Has made moves, but it's shitty stock. This one made moves back in some years ago. All. Sometimes when you're going through the ER scans, you kind of wanna. Sometimes you just need to get a little bit more perspective because you know, they could be breaking out a really big basis like. Yes, this NRG or wherever it went. I think it's the highest dollar volume one. Yeah. Nrg like it looks like here. But it's in, I think a giant range. God, it looks like. Never mind. All right, let's look at after hours tomorrow. Yeah, I have a lot of watch list. After hours tomorrow. There we go. All right, first, let's filter by dollar volume. Oh, see, look at that. See, that's like. This is an exciting, exciting night for me. The two top leading dollar volume stocks also have a near 10 ADR. That's sick. That's what. That's what I like to see. So ASTS looks great. Big base. Put my line right here. That'll give me the alert you're about to get. This weekly MACD cross. Man. Hopefully this thing gaps like. Well, that would be. That's a hundred percent. Yeah. When. When there. When there's a ton of range to new highs they kind of like to reject. But still watching it nonetheless. Rughetto looks amazing. Looks so good. Know what? That is ACHR tomorrow too. Stop playing. This looks great too. Oh my God. And all these companies just suck. Which makes it even funnier. What up yet, Vic? What's going on? SMR reports coincidentally looks great. Plug looks like. Hertz looks good. Hertz looks like Ionq did this once. Let's see what else. See, Hertz has momentum though. I mean, it pulled back steeply, But I mean, 130 move held in the middle of the range, right back through that little 650 level, back through the gap level, back through the gap level. Ran into the 10 right before earnings. I mean, Hertz is one that I would also want to keep on the radar. So when I was aggressively doing the. The swing scout, or. I'm sorry, yeah, the. The earning scouts, I had a crazy setup for it, but I would essentially do what we're doing now and I would go through and set all of my trigger levels in after hours. And I basically had two rules to buy. One, it had to go through the level and it had to alert. And two, the News had to be out. Like news had to be out for learnings. I think I accidentally banned wizard from. From on the server. Oh yeah, I got invite him back. My. My bad, bro. Oh wait. Oh no. I just banned him for real that time. Oh, my bad. Dude joined. All right. Sweet. Hey, I lost. Oh man, that's great. I'm sorry. We'll get you back. I know you can't hear me right now because you are no longer with us, but we'll get you back, Man. The intuitiveness of Discord sometimes. Like the menu layouts Wizard. Okay. Yeah. I don't know but there's a lot. There's a lot of nice after hours stonks. Let's see, let's see, let's see. Let's look at. Oh, I'm trying to remember. This one's a good one, I believe. 9 ADR greater than 50 million dollar volume. There's probably some other stuff in here. See, but you see how short the list is. Like I'm sure like I. I see it often. People's like scans produce like hundreds and hundreds of names. This one looks good. It gave a perfect Shoryuken on this day, but it just didn't work out. I mean if you were swinging it, you'd still be in, but it would just be kind of a headache. We already know ASTs. Pony. Yeah, Pony. That was a great flag. Yeah, that was really, really nice through here. I mean it didn't really get super tight like you bought it up here. A little extended on the day, but. Core weave looks good. It just needs another couple of days. Keep surfing. It's kind of acting like Reddit @ipo. QBTS for hella. Zoomed in there. Why are we so zoomed in? There we go. Open trash. Root. Vic, you watching Root? Yeah. I mean this thing has just been. I remember seeing its first when it er'd initially way from down in the trenches. I gotta pull up the five year on this one because it was just like this was just insanity. I mean it would have never been on your radar. Like, you know, like it would have never. It could have actually a big move up went about 30. But still though like not super, super attractive. The undercut of the 200 was interesting here, but like, you know, it wouldn't have been on my, my radar for like a small account player or really anything. And then it has this, this big savage volume day that was on earnings. And then. Oh my God. This thing just. It's just had a really strange chart history. It's Just so undulating. Like it's just like non linear choppy, sloppy, toppy. Like I'm just. And it's literally 150 now. Why not use buy stop orders from buying above key levels instead of waiting for alerts. You could, you could. I mean there's other things there though. Like, like I like to see the velocity of the tape. I like to see big volume. I like to see really those things. It's kind of like the nuance of the tape in a way that's me personally. But like you could and I think if you did that consistently long enough, you know I think that you'd be perfectly profitable. I mean you do follow all, all the techniques. Yeah, I mean you'll, you'll probably, I mean if, if you were able to configure figure a bot to do that and execute it flawlessly, you would probably end up with a 30 win rate. But you'd be very profitable if you, if you deployed the bot in the right market environments. CPs resemble teed up. Teed up. This thing is teed up though. It's crazy. Like for me this one's viable tomorrow. How much volume has it got? 17mil. 17mil. Skis. Double decker teed up skis. 9950 APTR skis. This thing looks pretty good. Yeah, this looks crazy. Like most people would look at this look it's so far up. Like this thing may put in a you God candlestick tomorrow. Like and like your risk off is so simple. It's 650. Or it's if it gapped over the H or the high volume. It's the high volume level. Like it's very linear. It's fine. It's great. I don't know what they do. They sell golf tees for all I care. Alrighty. Questions drying up? Yes. I'll seriously sit here until you wear me out. I do have to work sometime tomorrow but question on low flow. How much would you put in low caps where they make 100 million volume day but typically dollar per day would be. I don't understand your question. Why don't you rephrase it and try again? Yes sir.
Can we expect the course?
I mean so I have a, I have a really hard time putting out any work product that I'm not proud of. And if I were to make it now I wouldn't be able to allocate the bandwidth to it to make something that I'm proud of. But I'm totally down sitting through and slopping through it. With the boys like this because it really reinforces principles. Like, this helps me as much as it helps you. But I would love to, at one point. I would love to. That'd be, that'd be cool. I think though that we could probably boil it down to a page. So when I sell the first copy, somebody's just going to print that bitch and literally like, you know, direct mail it to everybody in the United States for free. I don't know, like, it's literally like there's, there's no secrets. Like, you know, people that take like a year to like build a course and it's got like 50 modules and boot camps. They're just, it's just, it's just like I literally, I'm like, alec, do you want to stream? Should you like stream? I'm like, I'm gonna run out of. To talk, talk about. Like, literally, like, there's nothing to talk about. It's just big move up, pullback, undercut, reclaim, tight. Does it have volume? Does it meet your profile? Like, it's really, really, really simple. Everybody seems to make it too complicated now. Now you will run into scalability issues probably like, you know, around a few hundred million you'll start running into scalability issues with, with the system. But. And you know, after that you have to, you have to, I think, transition into, you know, position or yeah, position trading, long term trading, investing, to keep moving the needle meaningfully. But until then, you're kind of Gucci, like teed up, you know, they're a Titleist competitor for all I care. It's nice though to understand that they could be moving in a similar theme with something else. But I can tell tell you that they aren't. It's because no other charts look like them. So I don't really have to know that. Like the theme issue. Like, you know, that's another requirement by a lot of the Furus. It's in a theme, it's in a group, it's into this, it's into that. Yes, I agree, it should be in a theme. But where they get it wrong is it they, they require a narrative theme that they understand. Oh, there's five charts going parabolic that all sell golf team tees. Therefore the golf tea companies are hot. That's the theme. Well, long before you knew that the charts were moving in harmony. And so if you just paid attention to the charts and your scans, you would have seen the stocks emerging, looking very similarly to one another. Now you may ask yourself, well, how does that really apply to like Hymns and Oklow. They look very, very similar. Palantir is actually the future vision for both of those. But yeah, they look, they look really similar. But you know, one of them is doing nuclear reactors and the other one does dick pills. Well, it could be because the same groups are accumulating them based on the same schedules. So somebody's building a risk component to, to their, you know, to their asset allocation, I guess plan. You know, that's like the charts just don't look the same by happenstance. Like it's just not like a coincidence. They're either being accumulated by the same schedule or they're in theme. Like you don't need to know the narrative. People who know the people who are relying on the narrative theme missed the chart theme. Quantum was executable well before mainstream were screaming quantum narrative. And I did a long form tweet on this where I kind of went into the thought in more detail and probably nobody understood what the I'm talking about because people are so ingrained in the notion that like there has to be this theme, narrative theme that like we understand like it's robotics running. It's this and that. Like. No, no, that's after the fact. That's the lagging theme. The, the origin theme is the. Or. Or is the chart similarity. It's the pattern. Because the, the funds or whoever that pick up on the theme first. They are not. It's very hard to cover the, the footprint. The reason why I.O. and Q QBTS, Reghetto and and all the others look the same is because somebody with a ton of money had to buy all of them and they bought them all on the same time, the same days. Nice.
If you ask another question, back to the, to the charts.
One tip.
Why based on an orb or based on a. Watch out. Where do you usually place your stop and do you have like specific percentages that you're willing to go for maximum?
So it, it's a little bit of a nuanced thing. If I were to give somebody like a hard rule that they must follow every time and there's really no variability, it would be low of day. Okay. It would be, it would be low of day. If low of day is greater than a 1% account drawdown. If low of day is greater than 1% account drawdown, use 1% account drawdown. That would be my like one, one rule to kind of fit them all. But oftentimes low, low of day is one penny above the ten day sma. And so if you use low of day and you and you chop yourself out. What the real level was, the 10 day SMA, you should, you should use that. And I don't like people using a hard 1%. I think that's, I think that's stupid. I think that if the 10 day SMA is, you know, one, like if I had to give you a hard rule, I would give you the hard rule that I gave you. But now I'm telling you why. It's silly. And over time you'll realize this. But if like, if you take consistent, responsible size, you know, relative to your net worth and, and the 10 day SMA is literally a 1.5 account drawdown below like or below your entry. Like don't stop out at 1%. Use that level. Because over time if you are buying stocks that make a big move up, pull back, undercut, go sideways, reclaim and get tight. You're trading super tight charts. So like low of day is never consequential and you're usually buying very close to daily moving averages. So like yes, there'll be times where you know, you get stopped out for 2% of your account. But if you just trade the charts that I'm explaining to you, the chart shapes, the tight chart shapes that I'm explaining to you, the average stop out will end up being like 0.5%. Like you're average them all out. But people have this notion where it's like it's 1%. That's where I'm putting it. Like no, no, no, no. It's, it's, it's a numbers game. And you all have to also understand that like the success rate is like 33 of trades. Like if you're doing well, you know, if you have some really good day trading skills, you know, you might, you might be able to boost it up a little bit if you have, if you're doing a 30 EMA magic, it'll, it will be even better. But like for swing trading like Q teaches like it's you know, 30. So like you know you're gonna get stopped out like all the time. But if you trade tight charts, your, your average stop out is going to be far less than 1% if you're sizing properly. Next question. What's the 30K account at right now? I don't know. Not high enough. Well, well over 100g. I'm not stalking anything. I'm talking to you guys. You guys have my full attention. My work starts tomorrow when my alerts trigger. I don't have any alerts triggering. I don't have anything to do. If I had alerts triggering now, I would buy stuff right now. It's 24,5. Why not? I would buy now. I just don't have anything triggering. Unless I missed it all. I probably already missed it all. How do we get cute to get started with these? Well, I, I don't know. So I doubt that'll happen. He doesn't really do this. I don't even know why I do it to be honest. I, I do it right now. I guess because it helps, you know the reason. Yeah. The reason why Q I think streamed a lot is it held him accountable personally and then to his own rules and then it just helped him reinforce his thinking. That's why he streams so much. So like me doing this. I know like you guys are like, oh, thank you. It helps me. Which I'm glad it does, but it helps me tremendously as well. Do you plan on investing full time into swing trading and long term investing? To me it's a liquidity thing and it's a quality of life thing. So I really love the notion of transitioning into becoming an investor. I'm an entrepreneur at heart. I love businesses and building. I want to, I want to support future entrepreneurs and I want to back really good ideas and be a part of big things. So I think investing is definitely in my, in my future, in my near future plus, you know, tax advantages and I can, I can get bigger size and you know, it's kind of the next step. I don't need to move there like now by any means. Like Lucas has gone there short bear, but he doesn't need to either. I mean he still day trades on the one minute. But yeah, I mean that's just a logical progression for sure. No, I wasn't worried about a gap down at all. I mean it could have happened. It could have happened. There could have been a gap down that wiped out, you know, 50 of the account. Sure, it could have happened, but it didn't wipe out 50 of my net worth or didn't wipe out even a fraction of it. So I mean it's, it's difficult. It'd be extremely difficult for me to trade that account as if I was my apprentice where I am following, you know, just strict, super, super strict. Like how I would require like if, if, if Dr. Luca came to me and, and said, you know, know, I want you to, I will do anything that you say. I want you to be my mentor and I really want to want to listen and follow like your prescribed, you know, execution strategy. And stay accountable and I'll do all this and I will tell them exactly how to do it. I'll tell them how I want them to set up. I tell them how, how I want them to execute. I tell them how I want to log and record and recap. And you know, so long as he was able to follow those things, you know, 80 even, 80% even, you know, he would end up doing very well. And I think he's going to do very well. I'm talking to him about this stuff. But you know me to like go back and kind of trade that way with a smaller account and do it like publicly, which I'm not even doing a great job at because I'm busy. It would just be like watching paint dry. It would be like nearly impossible. Possible. So I don't even know if it's much of a value for you guys. I mean, some people may find value in it, others may not. Yeah, I don't know. Let's see. Oh yeah, yeah. So I guess that's a difference between me and. Actually, I'm going to answer that question first. I need a vacation. You still doing the 30 day straight work? Shit, no, it's more than that right now. Sucks. It sucks, but whatever. How do you use macd? Yeah, so Q does not use macd. I think he dogs the out of it a lot in his streams. Actually. I use it just because I've stared at it so much ever since I learned C 620 from Gil Morales. It's always just been on my charts and I'm just. I've left it on all the time frames and I just stare at it. I mean like, I just stare at charts like that's how I've learned most of. I mean, outside of Q. And it just gets to a point where he just repeats things over and over and over. Like Q is very basic. He's like me. He just repeats the same over and over and over and over. You know, like you just start, like I just start staring at it. I just look at charts over and over and over and over. And I started just, you know, piecing together the patterns that like how does MACD behave before really big moves? One of the. My biggest breakthroughs recently has been divergences. Bear and bull divergences. MACD is great. Basically. I put it like this. I can never not trade charts technically without it. Like I just can't do it. Do I ever cut positions before stop losses, hit? I mean, you'd have to define that a little bit better. Like before the hard, like, ultimate stop is hit. I mean, I don't. Not really. Not really often. My stops are a little bit more advanced than how I would, you know, instruct somebody new. I'm using like, I'm using low of day often, but I also use like the bottom of five minute formations. Yeah. Okay. When you learn from charts, do build a database. Have you seen there's a discord called day trader rehab. It's got a couple thousand characters charts. That's one database. Before that, I use spreadsheets. So I would like screenshot them and insert into cells. Holy. It's. It's 10 o'. Clock. All right, I got 20 minutes. I got 20 minutes. That's a good amount of time. All right. Okay. Do you ever cut? Okay, I did that. What do you use for the divergence? Back to your. But. Okay. So there's been so many examples of really great divergences. Basically every stock that's up right now had really great divergences. And this was. This was a epiphany of mine. So Palantir is a really, really great setup. Left side peak, 85, first leg down. This was the first leg down low of the hundred. It bounced. This was the second leg low. So price went lower. But what did MACD do? MACD went higher. That's called a bear divert. Or that's called a bull divergence. So price goes lower, MACD goes higher. So positive momentum is going higher, but price is going lower. So this setup, and I dub it the SR71 classic UNR setup, repeated itself over and over and over. And it was a chart theme that I just missed. Basically, any stock that's meaningfully up now had this setup. Let's see. Just name one. Oh, spot. There you go. Left side Pete. Leg down one, leg down two. And look at that fat. It is. So it's like magic. It's literally appears in every single one of these moves. Every one of them. And so cleanly. So repeatedly. Literally. Name any stock that's up a ton. Actually, I don't know if hims has it. Yep. Hims. It's a different one, though. Different. But price trending down. MACD trending up. Breakout through. Left side peak. Nope, it's the same. Whoa. Lo and behold. What else? Any others? You can look for yourself, but any stock that's up meaningfully. Yeah, any one of them. SR71. You caught Hood. Hood. Yep, same thing. Left side peak. Wow. Bold of urgence. Like, it's identical. This was such a solid chart theme that I Missed. And the beauty of the chart themes is they don't actually have to bear similar narrative theme. There could be a macro narrative theme driving them or it could be, you know, whatever. Like they don't have to all be quantum right to like be a theme. That's why chart theme is the best because most of the narrative themes like the obvious ones we understand but like the big ones the more like nuanced macro long term themes like we don't understand these are funds accumulating on their owned agendas we don't understand. So like yeah, anyways yeah BT sizzle. That was a great one. That one was the best probably. And it front ran the whole. Yep. Oh my God this one's so good. So good. Leg down undercuts. The 200 MACD trending up. Oh perfect. It had more of a classic unr here I'm going to remove all these lines so you can see it's super clean one too. These are futures but whatever. Oh you bastard. Yeah, this one was so clean. Super clean bulldivergence which you see but this down wick in the range and then this up wick like just create this perfect level. It's just beautiful. It's beautiful. Yep. Netflix. Alright, cool. So youo guys know what those look like now? You can't unsee them. Now people do get in a trap of you know seeing the bulldo versions. They're very easy to see and then they just start buying. But what you really need to accompany it with is the reclaim of a key level. Key key horizontal level. So the bulldo basically puts it on your radar and says hey watch this. This thing has increasing momentum under the under the hood. Let's, let's keep it on, you know needs more sideways list. It's held up well, you know and let's set a line through this key level and then you kind of take that expansion. But yeah, like just don't start buying blindly after the the bull divergence. I've seen many bull and bear divergences that just kind of keep going lower. Eventually they, they turn up like they do but timing them can be weird. So you just have to make sure you're going back through a key level. Can you give a speedy rundown of your no. All right, Let's see. All right, just to confirm 30 EMA magic is a trailing stop rule where you use the clock close below the 50 EMA and the five minute time frame that is one component of an overarching strategy. We touched on how you scan for them. We Touched on kind of the origin story. We didn't really touch on brokerage setup and how to execute them, like. Like granularly. But yes, you described a component. Component of I guess, execution. Intraday. Fave vacations. Hawaii so far, I think Japan will probably end up being it. But I haven't been there yet actually. But Hawaii for sure for me. That's amazing. That's amazing. Yeah. Let's see what the index is doing. I don't really look at the index often, but I think we're just in such a. This is just such a historic event really, that like, it's been fun to pay attention to, but like, when we're trending, I don't really give a. It's just setups, man. Oh, yeah. See, it didn't really. Let's look at the cues. Futures charts are a little different. See, it didn't. It didn't really give. That's kind of interesting. It didn't really give a bull divergence. That's so interesting. So the leading tech stocks gave these big bull divergences. Well, not leading. Mag7 probably didn't. And that's why it didn't actually develop that bulldiver versions like when we see so many other ones have it. But like, I'm willing to bet that. Yeah, I mean, I just know where the charts are in my brand. This one is doing it now. Nvidia is really nice. I mean, this actually, this is a extremely strong bull divergence. Long downtrend. You actually have to start it here, but whatever. And MACD just refuses to go lower. And now it's trending higher. Yeah. Bullish fave steak cut. I can't eat rib eyes anymore. I gotta stop. I eat so much red meat. I haven't eaten any like in like two weeks. But my favorite. I like tri tip. Maybe if you had to give one piece of advice to a new trader, what would it be? However much money you have, use 1% of it to fund your account initially. I hope you have more than 100 bucks because finding your account with a dollar would suck. Okay. All right. I'm gonna look at my watch list. You know, CLH is interesting. It's beaten down, like, and there's so many start. There's so many stocks that are like, you know, making big moves up currently. Like, it's under the 200. Like, see, like, it looks like this is kind of a trap. It looks good. It's tight. You know, like, if we just fall back on, like, you know, the principles. Did it make a Big move up. Yes. It's up 175. Did it pull back? Yes. The reclaim. Yes. It needs to surf more. But like, it is actionable. I mean it, it, it meets the rules for sure. It just, I don't know, there's like, like, I don't know. There's other stocks that see, like the stocks that I like right now, like, which they all are like, look like shit or they all look great, but they're all ahead of earnings. So it doesn't really matter how great they look now. It doesn't matter. Like, there's no like really like post earnings charts that I love other than Palantir. Palantir is definitely my top watch for post earnings chart. I do it far less now. When I was, when my, when my like in like, I guess 2023, early 2023 and like. Or no, all of 2023 and early 24. I like, was very, very, very rigorous. I'd review every single trade. I would do weekly review, monthly review. I would do annual reviews. Like with my businesses. I basically just rolled it up and because I like. So I have in house controllers for the businesses that send me monthly profit and loss, balance sheet cash flow statements, other like custom reports. They basically just key everything and reconcile the ins and outs of the businesses. Anyways, I get just a pile of reports every month and I just rolled my trading into that. And it just be kind of a part of. Takes like a weekend every month for me to, to go through all that stuff, but I don't really do it as much anymore. For me, that's a conviction builder. That's a confidence builder. It's kind of like, I don't want to say Allen Iverson in practice, you know, if, you know, if you're old enough to, to know the, the infamous Allen Iverson practice debacle. But it's kind of like that. Yeah, No, I just. This is like what you see right now on the screen. This is what my like execution looks like. Like, except they'll have news up. That's it. I don't even think about win rate at all. I just know that if I'm executing charts that have made a big move up, pullback, gone sideways, undercut, whatever, that stocks that are going up. I know that my win rate is going to be about 30, 33. My mine's a little higher actually to be like closer to 40 probably. There's been some big ones. I want to say I haven't had any like, really big singular ones, but I've had Like bad stretches, like a few million bucks being down. I've had like 50 drawdowns in my account. That doesn't happen anymore. But I think in the SAE last, last go around. Let me see if I can find that chart. Somebody probably has it, but I think there was like, like 35 drawdown in a day or something. Is pony or you can. I don't think so. No, it's a flag. It's just a flag. I mean it kind of. It. I don't know, it's like it's close. I look at it more of a flag. Like here it would have been on watch for it. Possibly like right here would have been on watch for it and then you would have bought the next day and just kind of. It was kind of like a delayed one. Imagine shukin and kind of like slow mo but like where it actually broke out it was like a flag. Like this right here is the epitome of Ashuri. Right here, this is the epitome of it. This one, the epitome. That one's epitome. I think. I don't remember. Dom H. No, it's not that many. The other one, that one was a good one too. Somebody, I saw somebody say nq, dtss, you know what actually sort of. Did it breach it close? Kinda sort of. If it were to like, I don't know, if it were to flush hard and then like lose 20,000, that would look bad. 20,000 is the level. Well, I hope. Last night I think I slept like two hours. Tonight I'm actually gonna sleep some I think. But I realized I've been talking for three hours. I didn't even eat dinner and Vaughn's already in bed. Like all the lights are off and she left and it's like, it's like oh, I gotta go eat dinner or something. I got most of my work done. I busted ass today and I got some pretty cool initiatives. Every on the weekend I'm spending my time tasking my employees essentially. There's a lot of. There's just a lot of task lists and statuses and like I use a little system where we assign new statuses and then to tasks and then as they're working on tasks they'll label it as in progress or now. Now means they're working on it. In progress means it's actively being worked on. There's another status called done. And when they are done, when they believe that their work product is done, they mark it as done. And then there's some self completers out There. But majority of the tasks I'll go through and QC and then change the status to complete it. And it's a lot of work. It's a lot, lot of work and I just do it every weekend. But it really is, except for the def. Definition of sure you can. I think I spent 20 minutes today looking for it. I know I wrote it, it might be in a screenshot and that's why I can't pull it up. But like I like distinctly remember it like even adding definition to the extension above the 10 day SMA because like when I shot asked for it and then I spent some time going through the charts and, and, and kind of building the similarities amongst them all. But one of them was definitely extension from the fast moving averages where they just break out and they run so hard in that first one or two days that they literally have a rubber band snapback. Essentially like here like serve was at one point above the ten day. I mean it was 300 above the tender, you know, and so like that was, there was some component there that was, that was good. I can just see it visually. I think I'm just like patterns come to me. Well. But you could definitely boil it down. Like you could build a system around just trading a few of these setups. Like, like very, very granularly. I mean there's some programmers in the room that are super smart that can probably do it much more efficiently than me. But like, you know, kind of like from like a, a savvy caveman perspective. You could like build like these chart labels for your various setups and like if they are green, it means they are actionable. Like I don't even need this chart, this green one. I don't even use it. It needs to, needs to go. It's not a part of my system. I just haven't taken it off. Ariel has this like ATR extension thing that he uses. I don't, I don't ever look at it. All righty, two minutes. I'm gonna stick it out. Hey, what was your name again? All I see is O. But you said it was like Mr. Trader or something.
Risk manager.
Risk manager. Okay. So you came from Mini's group.
Yeah, I still am and I still, I'm moderately successful. But I'm trading, you know, like 100k account, 150k account based off sort of VCPS and like high strength stacks. And I'm pretty much interested in moring into more of like a small account edge, you know, compounding faster.
So my biggest qualm With Marco Interveni is how he exits specifically positions. I, I wish that he just trailed moving averages. He. One of the issues is you know, he's in a position of you know, educating and you know one of the very like one of the most important aspects of trading is taking profit. And you know, I don't know a lot about it but I have witnessed a couple instances where he takes profit subjectively where it's literally unteachable. There is no linear like way to teach it. If he would have said that he sold cells into extension based off some multiple or some distance from a moving average. Okay, great. Like you know that, that at least is consistent. You know, obviously he has the VCP thing which is I think just a packaged up deal from somebody else. I mean they all do that. But yeah, I mean yeah, I wish, I wish that he would, he would do that more.
Yeah. So it's more of like it's not so systematic also a lot of art. But one of the things that I, yeah that I'm struggling sort of recently is in his system there's a lot of like including also of the Neil system is there's a lot of like stuff being wedged up and like not, not creating sort of like higher lows or vcps shakes sort of out supply and that, that's what kept me out from many, many big winners which I don't see that you would you have an issue with that. You just go like based off momentum and you don't care even if it's straight up from the bottom.
Yeah, I mean the issue with VCPS are, is they haven't shown momentum yet. They're just in a giant range. Like that's like what it is. And like these guys try to nail the initial breach of the range which is fine. If I saw it I probably would try to as well. But I think that people, I think that if traders just traded a continuation stock, like be a trader. Like yeah, I think that yeah, I think traders should trade momentum and Nothing else. I. VCPs are great because they're the origin of giant momentum moves. But it's like let's just trade the momentum. You're not going to catch the bottom. You know, you're going to be 20 or more into the move. But at least we have confirmed momentum and sustained liquidity. Like and it's very easy to buy like it's very easy to buy a retest in RGTI of the five day in that initial move. It's really, really easy to do it. It Has a ton of momentum. It comes down and touches it so many times. And, like, just don't even take my word for it. Just go back and look at all the stocks that have ran a thousand plus percent, 500, whatever. Just, like, look at the moving averages they trail. I literally have a setup called lose the 20, make the money. Because, like, in these names, when it loses a 20, it's dead. It's dead. And, like, the strongest ones trail the 5 and the 10. And you can grow accounts so fast in 30 days. This thing gave you a 500% gain if you missed half of the move. Like, it's. It's just insanity to me. And we're not buying. Like, the VCP was down here, here. Like, maybe it was probably even lower. Like, you could have bought this VCP day, you know, where it broke out of it. But then you could have bought there, there, there, there, there, there, there, all the way up to even here, and you still had a 50% move. Well, I appreciate everybody hanging out and asking good questions. I don't know the next time we'll do this. Probably in the next week or so. I really encourage people to bring, like, I would love to be able to build on previous episodes so that we don't have to, like, keep covering the same things. We're probably gonna end up annotating our stream like qualimaggy did, saying, you know, hey, watch our previous streams first and use the search bar. Don't waste our time. I'm saying. All right, boys and girls, girls and boys, Shout out to all the moms out there, peace.
