Today I want to talk about the importance of making your relationship a safe space. I didn't know enough about myself or relationships in general in my marriage to be able to create that. And making a safe space is about putting the right conditions in place so both you and your partner feel that they can show up in a way that is true to themselves without fear of judgment or retaliation. It also means that you're creating an environment where you both feel heard, valued, supported, and understood. When you can create that, that means you have trust and you can communicate openly, and that allows for deeper connections, more honest conversations, and it paves the way for stronger, more resilient relationships.
