Hello, it's Alex. Happy Monday. It's been a little while since I've been on social media, so I thought I would come back in, reintroduce myself. For those of you who don't know me, welcome. For those of you who do, hi, it's been a while. Like I mentioned, I've been away from social media for about 6 months now, a little bit more. I ended up going home and spending some time with my mom as she was dealing with and working through a health issue. And while the circumstances really sucked, I have to say, it's actually been a blessing in disguise. It was the first time since 1989, so about 35 years, that I've been able to spend this much uninterrupted time with her. I think the last time was when I went to college and I was living at home going to the local campus. So it's been a hot minute. And while our bond was already really close because she's everything from my mom to my best friend to my confident to everything else, I hadn't been able to spend this time with her. And because of the last 6 months, our relationship has grown that much stronger, and that has been such a blessing. It's been a time of growth, it's been a time of reflection. I'm hugely grateful for having been able to do this for her and for having the opportunity to really take a step back and take a look at my own life, kind of putting things back in perspective in terms of what's important and maybe what is less important, and see how I wanted to kind of rejig things a little bit. For those of you unfamiliar with my story, I spent about 30 years in corporate. I was in the flavor and fragrance industry, spent most of that time in the fragrance industry and most of that time in sales. I did a little bit of time in business development, did a little bit of time in marketing, but the bulk of my time was in sales. And it got to the point where I realized that I wanted to do more. I wanted to be more. And it wasn't something that I could do within the confines of corporate. I realized that I wanted to help other people really fulfill their, their own potential. But I was also afraid of leaving the security of my job. And it wasn't until a very good friend of mine passed away of a brain aneurysm in her sleep that I realized it was the universe was sending me signals that it's time, it's time for you to step into your passion and to do the things that you love and to help people in the way that is congruent with what you want to do. Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping professionals and executives really transform their lives through high-performance coaching. I've seen them do the work. I've been inspired by them stepping into their strength, watching them develop the courage to level up, to start tapping into the fullest expression of themselves. I've seen them become better leaders, better parents, better friends. I've seen them improve their health, gain more confidence, become happier, more joyful, and also experience less stress in their lives as they recalibrate the things that are important to them and they dedicate time and give themselves the space to do this work. Their transformations have been nothing short of remarkable, and seeing their success is what puts wind in my sails So what's next? Well, moving forward, I'm excited to bring you more content, right? I want to be more connected online. I want us to have more of a, more of a conversation than what we've, what we've done in the past. I'm going to be working on some new courses, some new resources, new events. So stay tuned for updates and make sure that you check out the new free resources tab on my website. But in the meantime, I'd love to hear from you. What have you been up to for the last 6 months? Drop me a comment. Let's reconnect. Let's have a coffee chat. Let's just be a part of each other's life and let's keep this conversation going. But for now, I just want to thank you for being in my life. Thank you for your patience over the course of the last 6 months. I am excited to be back and I can't wait to continue this incredible journey with you. And I'll see you soon.
