A Gallup study found quiet quitters want three things: better engagement and culture (41%), higher pay (28%), and improved well-being (16%). But the speaker argues your mindset matters more than circumstances. Show up intentionally, focus on what's working, and watch your environment shift.

Gallup just released a study where they asked quiet quitters what they would change about their work, and the responses fell into 3 different categories. One was engagement or culture, which was about 41%. The other was pay and benefits at about 28%, and the third one was well-being at about 16%. But I would like to challenge that because a lot of what we experience in the world has to do with how we show up. It has to do with our mindset. It has to do with how we choose to experience how things go during the day. So if you're in a position where you're not super happy at work, or you can feel yourself kind of that quiet quitting mode, I would challenge you to do two things. One, decide how you want to show up at work every single day. Do you want to show up with intention? Do you want to show up with the desire to be productive? Do you want to show up wanting to make connections? How you make that decision or how you decide to show up is going to impact how you see the day. And then the other thing is change what you focus on. When we focus on all the negative, guess what? That snowballs and you get more of that negative in your life. When we focus on the positive, all of a sudden things don't seem to be so bad. So try those two things, and if neither one of those things help to change your environment or how you perceive your environment, I'll eat my hat.
