3 years ago when I was going through my cancer and my chemo, I only saw it as a gift, like, wow, this is what I get to experience, and what are the gifts in here? How does it take me deeper into my purpose, into my sense of who I am and why I'm here?
It's amazing to hear you say that because again, I think a lot of people, when things happen to them, and I can understand when you're in the heat of the battle, you're not feeling well, you're battling some illness or some tragedy in a family or whatever the case may be, it's hard to kind of take that step back and say, okay, you know, what's the, what's the good that can come out of that. But I think there's also an opportunity once we can close that to take that step back and say, okay, what can I learn from this experience? And even if you don't do it as you're going through it, doing it when you're done is a great way, it sounds like based on your experience, to really learn about yourself and how you can approach future difficult situations.
