Andy Hnilo's Detox Routine

Andy Hnilo walks through his detox routine: eating daikon radish, fermented vegetables, cilantro, and dandelion greens; taking 50 mg niacin before workouts; sweating in the sauna; and drinking Gerolsteiner water with Himalayan salt to stay mineralized.
Hey, guys. How's it going with Thanksgiving weekend? Coming around. I wanted to share some of my favorite detox tips, along with things like daikon radish, fermented vegetables to replenish that gut bacteria that, you know, toxins can take away from cilantro, dandelion greens, celery. And then from working out, I like things like 50 milligrams of niacin before I work out, along with some branched chain amino acids. These are my favorites right here. And things like arginine that this doesn't have. And then I like to get on the treadmill and then get that sweat going. I mean, your. Your body already wants to help kind of change the oil of its. Of its toxins, so to speak. So if I re. If I hydrate with water, I use Gerald Steiner in her water along with Himalayan salt. And then I'll hop on the treadmill to kind of build, get that sweat going. And then usually I'll follow it up with a workout, and it'll just be starting to kind of exit the system, the sweat, toxins.
And then what I like to do.
Is hop in the sauna and do. This thing that I've been doing for.
Years is just kind of all that water is on the surface of your skin. It wants to exit. So I just kind of just massage the water out of your skin. I squeeze the water out of my skin, my abs, my lower back, my obliques, everything.
And I just.
I wait, and then, you know, about.
30 seconds later, it'll replenish itself. Water will come to the surface, and.
I'll just squeeze it right off.
And it's just a constant cycle of your water, your own water in your system, wanting to replenish and cool your body down. But those are the toxins that you want to release and exit your system. So I just. I mean, it's just like a whole cycle that I do in the sauna. And it looks. I guess I had someone today kind of bring it up in a conversation, asking me what I was doing, and next thing you know, had a couple people in the sauna doing the same thing.
So it.
It's just my little thing that I've been doing to help accelerate the whole sauna and sweating experience. It's just helping squeeze that water out of your system that already wants to come, but just helping accelerate that process. So hope that makes sense. Stay hydrated, stay mineralized. I keep Gerol Steiner with Himalayan salt on the outside of the sauna. Just kind of stay hydrated and replenish the system with minerals as I need it. Hope you guys have a happy Thanksgiving and thanks again for your awesome birthday wishes last weekend.
